I'm thinking of a journeyman player who played ten years in the league and was the beneficiary of being traded at the deadline to the eventual Stanley Cup Champions.

I don't know everything about this player so I won't count any questions I can't answer.

Were you traded from a team that no longer exists (i.e. a team that has moved)?

Good question and tough to answer with a yes or no...

I'll have to say yes, not 100% yes, but yes is more correct than no. 14 left.

Well, we'll see if it's it (I'm fairly sure it is).

Bingo. Well done.

He was traded from the Minnesota North Stars for Perry Berezan. He only amassed 5 points during the Stanley Cup run but did go on to play two more years in Calgary. Perry is a local guy and is still shocked he was traded away from a Stanley Cup team. Brian was a big but slow left winger while Perry was a speedy centerman who could chip in on the PK and was a good checker. Cliff Fletcher simply wanted more size up front for the stretch drive.
