Wanted to make a public apology, and an explanation for some issues lately. As a lot of you know, I am going through several health issues, and it's taken a toll on me, physically and mentally.
I suffer from various ailments, including Crohn's, rhumatoid arthritis, and lymphedema (swelling in the legs)
Just frustrated, it will be the better part of two years from filing before my disability claim gets heard (the current thought is August 2020, if you can believe that), and because I don't have the formal disability ruling yet, a lot of treatment options are beyond me (to prevent the lymphedema from being worse, they want to wrap my lower legs in a velcro binding to reduce the swelling, but since the bandages have to be tightened daily (and replaced every couple days), something that is beyond me right now with my other health issues.
The option to deal with that is a visit from a home health aide, but because I don't yet have a formal disability claim, since I'm under the age of 55, I would have to put a lien on my condo to get that assistance. We're trying to get around it, but it's slow going.
It's led to depression and mental swings, not to mention least an ability to track and follow up on things (and it doesn't help when one of the things I let slide is taking the handful of pills I'm on.) . I know I'm behind on reviewing Draft Day Sports Pro Basketball for Gary, and following up on the Giftmas thread. I'll try to keep on top of things better.
Thanks for putting up with me, even if I am a semi-unrepentant Patriots fan :)
