How did these shows get the label "Reality Shows"? There's not a single one of them I have seen that even remotely resembles reality. They're really just game shows with a soap opera influence.

You never traveled the world on a company's credit card with a bunch of strangers, having to do ridiculous stunts along the way?

It's lame how they call them reality shows...

Maybe non-scripted shows would be better. But even that isn't entirely accurate.

Oh, and Survivor is the best show on television. Besides football.

I have never watched a minute combined of any of those shows. I'm quite proud of that. I don't get the appeal of it at all, but apparently it is really cheap for the networks to produce.

My wife and I are both highly looking forward to The Amazing Race.

Actually I would classify these as game shows, but I don't think that the "game show" would sell as well as "reality".

Can't say I was surprised over who was the first team eliminated, as much as I wanted to see them do well.

Early dislikes: The models and the girl from South Dakota who likes to swear every two seconds.

Early likes: The virgin couple if just because I find it amusing they are being labeled virgins. The NFL wives cause they got screwed twice and still came back to finish in the Top 4 (though I don't think they were smart to go after the Fast Forward)

The only 'reality' show I ever watched, and truly enjoyed, was Combat Missions. Helluva show.

an old coworker of mine was on this, but I didn't get to watch. Steve Carmody and his wife apparently didn't make the cut, or were voted off the island, or however you lose on this show.

Nice guy... huge dork, but a nice guy. I think he's the news director at Louisville's public radio station.

The only "Reality TV" I enjoy is the kind you find on the History Channel.. Now that is (or shall I say was) reality..

Did anyone catch the series they had recently about the Tsars of Russia? Excellent Program, Top Notch!!
