crashing to desktop

getting frustrated with spending close to an hour working on my weekly file and the game will occasionally just self-destruct and crash sending me back to the windows desktop. No error messages. Anyone had this problem, or more importantly solved this issue on their end?

I’ve had it happen but it seemed it was only when I’d accidentally click/double click something that isn’t a button/menu. Save frequently I guess, and see if not clicking fast when navigating the UI helps

yeah I had a crash yesterday where I double clicked fast. very annoying.
