CM4 Problem?

Can someone explain this to me...I am playing as Man Utd to get a feel for the game. That gives me a trasfer budget around 37 million. I bought Kaillstrom, Adu, Farnerud and Mexes. I think that totalled around 22 million. Beckham was only averaging 6.8 as an outside mid so I sold him for 41 million. At the same time I also got Forlan off the squad for 9 million. I had a replacement for Beckham all lined up in Simao and then I go to buy him and my transfer budget is showing ZERO and the deal falls through the day of the second closing of the transfer window. Where did all my money go!! Can anyone explain this to me?

It could be that your board is not giving you any of the money you made off transfers towards future transfers.

I doubt that's it. It says that %95 percent is made available. Even id that is the case, I should still have a lot of my original budget available. Anyone have any ideas?

This is just a thought but, perhaps they were pissed that you sold Beckham. He may have been a huge board/fan favorite? They could possibly hold the money from you if they think you are going to do a bad job with it. I would check the board's thoughts on your performance.
