But what the heck. I am looking for a ring for the wife. Yeah, I know it is ugly, but she likes them.

It is enamel (I think) and has a wide band, similar to this:

Thoughts on where I might find something similar? It is not just junk/costume jewelery, but it is not expensive either. Proably from 50-200 bucks depending on style.

Hmm, looks like something you would see on one of the home shopping channels. I'd check their sites and see if you can find something like that Marmel.

Marm, I have bought my too much expensive jewelry over the years (mostly diamonds and gem rings, custom gold necklaces, etc.) but that thing looks godawful. Most department type stores offer 60-70% "discounts" every weekend and you can get something far more classier than that within your price range. But then again, it's not for you, just don't look at it.

I tried QVC, but couldn't find anything quite like it. I don't think this is exactly what she wants, but it is similar.

I'll keep trying...
