Football
Legend Bowl

+very active developer.
+has coach mode.
+great pixel art.
+ Excellent stat tracking
+interesting franchise mode
-want to like the game more than I do.
-Too easy to find money plays and spam it repeatedly.
- pace of the game on the slow side

Sunday Rivals
+ Fantastic graphics
+ Fantastic presentation
+ flexible AI coaching
- Don't like how the camera follows the ball
- Poor sound design
- no franchise mode
- clucky interface

Pro Strategy Football
+ Super nice developer
+ All the teams ever
+ great price
+ Coach mode
+ Franchise mode
- cumbersome play setup
- Too easy to spam long pass play

Baseball

Super Mega Baseball
- I want to like this game but hate the pitching interface.

Digital Diamond Baseball
+ Almost all the baseball seasons at a low price
+ Simplistic career mode/fictional mode (it is a replay baseball game, that is why this is a plus)
+ Customizable play by play and sounds
- Needs more stats
- clunky interface

Zengm Games
+ Web based
+ free
+ Super immersive
+ customizable
+ Excellent stat tracking
- limited strategy options
- no desktop version
- even though it is web based, franchises are connected to one computer only
