I know I stated an original start date of 1 July for this, but with the Steam Summer Sale starting later today, I figured to at least get some lists up so just in case someone intends to make a impulse purchase during the sale they can look here first.

Each person has their own set of rules for how often they will allow someone to request from their list, but just a reminder to be courteous. Give other people a chance to request before you put a whole bunch of games on request, especially at the beginning.

We'll be using this thread for ongoing additions (such as the Humble Bundle Monthly Choices)

Kingdoms of Amalur Re-Reckoning: Fate Edition My brother played this (on Playstation when it first came out), and he said it was pretty decent. Kinda an interesting story behind its making, it was part of a huge lawsuit between the state of Rhode Island (who funded the game under grants), and Schilling. This was when Schilling was just an ass, and hadn't succumbed to the braineaters.

Sid Meier's Civ VI: Platinum Edition Well, it's Civ VI with a bunch of addons, what's not to love? Problem is, most of us already have it.

Star Wars: Squadrons I have this on PS, and I wonder why it hasn't gripped me, considering all the hours of X-Wing and XWing Vs Tie Fighter I played.

Warhammer 40K Chaos Gate: Daemonhunters I liked this. XCom without the RNG swings and a real push to keep the action going.

Xcom 2: Like Civ VI, if you haven't played it, play it. But I think everyone has played it.

Back 4 Blood: Left 4 Dead modernized. Another game that requires people to actively interact with each other, which is why I bounced off it before (as a rule, I try NOT to interact with people)

Endless Space Collection (and Endless Space 2) I have both games in my library. I haven't played either one despite good reviews. Says something about me, I guess.

FTL: One of the original roguelike games with plenty to do, and a good supplier of the "Just one more run" dopamine hits.

Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War Still a very good game, but the age probably shows on this.

Elite Dangerous: I've actually watched Twitch streams of this in VR, and this.. if I knew where my VR equipment was, I'd be loading up my copy because it looks that awesome as in stuff that you dreamt about when you were playing Wing Commander games. Call of the Sea - A puzzle adventure game reminiscent of Myst and Point/click adventures but easier than Myst. very strong lead character. somewhat cthulian story
Catherine - VERY bizarre puzzle game with a bizarre story of men being turned into Sheep in their dreams and having to puzzle against each other in a climbing race and if they lose they die in real life.
Destroy All Humans - You destory all humans
Doom Eternal - a cool modern upate to the doom series which IMHO is the first to give it an actual story with tons of backstory
Hellblade Setsuna - First person game that actually can be played VR too
Hello neighbor - Stealth game. Sneak into neighbor's house without him finding you
Maneater - BE the shark
Middle Earth - Shadow of War - highly praised. Fantastic Parkour! You battle orks in the land as as you go, you see the orcs politics as somer rise over others
Niche - Animal Genetics simulator
Ring of Pain - If you like Slay the Spire, you'll love this!
Turok 2 seefs of evil - Retro classic FPS with dinosaurs!

Bioshock Remastered - Very original world FPS. Underwater city called Rapture, Big Daddy. What more needs to be said
Reigns/Reigns Her Majesty - Excellent solo card game where every round is a choice as you play every king or queen in your lineage.
System Shock/2 - Callsic sci fi fps story from Eidos...there really have never been a series that touches this
This war of mine - tells the story of people in a war...but they aren't soldiers, they are just trying to survive
Walking dead/wolf among us - telltale games. They feature tough choices and split time decisions....hardly any time to make them :) Wolf is based on the Fables comic series that has classic fairy tale story characters living in the real world...a la Gritty and gorey noir
Brothers - Two brothers must work their way through many obstacles. Can be played with two people or one (controlling both brothers). Very puzzley.
Psychonauts - Amazing 3D action platformer
140 - Platformer
Aarklash - Very Baldur's Gate like. Very unique races
Styx:Master of Shadows - stealth game starring a goblin
Witch It - A prophunt game!
The Beast Inside - Horror
Underhero - Really cute adventure about well...evil monsters in RPGs...they are a big corporation and are like working stiffs. One day one of the lowliest of grunts is facing the most powerful of human warriors and accidently kills him...and his magic sword enlists the grunt to carry it and ...well epicness ensues!

Divinity and Pillars are both excellent turn-based fantasy RPGs if you're into those types of games. Old World was interesting, but just didn't hook me for long. It didn't replace Civ for 4x IMO.

I enjoyed Squadrons myself. It has less of the free form action of the old Tie Fighter/Xwing games but a more scripted experience. I find that to have both advantages and disadvantages. Reading that last sentence makes me think I'm an AI bot.

BTW, I checked into this game and the negative reviews say it's has a bunch of account issues and key problems. At least those were the negative issues. Sounds like EA type issues :P

Also, July is coming: I'm definitely claiming the Outer Worlds, and probably Merchant of the Skies, and MAYBE Yakuza 4 remastered. But look at them, there's more than one of us with the monthly, so if some of us already have games that's more to go on the mountain.

Not sure what your comfort level is with lists, but this is the list I made for SirFozzie.

Should I pare it down or do you have rules for lists?
