Is it possible that removing cohesion is a goodly chunk of the reason that the AI teams are 'reluctant' to resign players? That is, there no longer is a reason to keep players to gain an edge?

Will cohesion return? Is it a possible 'quick fix'?

I would like to see cohesion return. It reflects real life ands stops players from simply replacing half their team in a single season. Football Manager has something similar.

Isn't it there? On the player screen, there's a box showing positive and negative chemistry.

Yes, it's there for QBs and Receivers. But not for the rest of the team anymore.

What is the impact of cohesion? Is the chemistry a separate feature? My quarterback has a negative chemistry with my best wide receiver. Does this mean I should play them together more to build that chemistry, or should I put other players on the receiving end to avoid the blow?

Cohesion still exists. Youre thinking of the Chemistry system, which was removed for all positions except QB-WR.

I dont think chemistry can be improved over time unfortunately based on my experience

Does it? Other than the screen name there is no actual evidence of that. It is no longer mentioned in the manual. I did a word search and it returned nothing. In FOF8, there was an explanation.

If the game generating and reporting cohesion ratings isnt enough evidence to suggest that cohesion still functions in some way in fof9, then idk what to tell u...
