I'll be getting it on PS5. Easy choice. I don't have the current Xbox.

If I get it, PS5 no question.

I have an Xbox X and a Xbox S, No PS5.

Have to go PS5 since I only have an Xbox One on that side. Had a Series S that I upgraded to a PS5 at Gamestop. Picked up an Xbox One for $20 and just use it as a game pass streaming machine on a non-4k TV. If Xbox opened up streaming games you own, I'd consider NCAA there.

PS5 because that's what I have. Is there a difference in XBox and PS these days? I haven't been following the console wars.

And my brother is looking to buy a system for NCAA. Is there crossplay? And is there a version of the console better than others?

Just avoid Xbox S. It is cheaper, but it doesn't have the video horsepower of the X. Other than that, Playstation or Xbox is just more about what platform exclusive games you want to play.
As for crossplay for CF25, it is coming but not in the game yet. There is no timeline when that will happen.

Thanks. I'll probably tell him to get the PS5 so we can play online.

I voted Xbox, but then realized I only had an Xbox one. I’ve been waiting a long time for this game, but I cannot justify buying an entire new generation of console for it.

My brother just did today. I think the only time I ever bought a system for a game was a PS3 to play The Show.

If you ever want to, the cheaper Series S is perfectly fine if you don't plan on playing a ton of games (and are ok with digital only of course) all the time or are looking at playing some older games. This and Gamepass has been great for me to still play on console but mostly not spend a lot on new games at full price. Of course Game Pass also costs but it's worth it for me really with quite a few games/series i like being included either immediately or eventually (EA play is included as well, so i just wait on playing most of those for a while).
The limited disc space can get a little annoying if you have a few games with lots of space needed but then again mine is still an old one with only 256GB, the newer ones have 512. (CFB only takes 30, NBA2K needs over 100)

Giant update today. It's at least encouraging they seem to be trying to fix things.

I bought a PS5 so I could play it, because I always said I was gonna do that and didn't wait until winter like I planned. No real regrets because I had a lot of PS4 stuff that was nice to be able to upgrade. Not a big gamer and only play sports, I think mostly they did too much money grabbing stuff but not surprised. Still nice to have the game.

The new patch has created lots of bugs. I'm not even diving in until they do a hot patch, and maybe not even then. I think I might wait till kick-off of the season and see if they don't have the 2nd major patch out by then.
If you had told me 2 months ago that full month after College Football 25 release that I would have put more time into WWE 2k24 than I would have into this game, I would think you are crazy.

Bought an Xbox S for this. Would have eaten it up on PC with Dynasty crossplay, though.
