It popped up on GamePass, I have dipped in a toe a couple times, but am not yet immersed.
But for the Balatro crowd, and the roguelike deckbuilder fans, this sounds like it will be the next big thing.
NO SPOILERS HERE PLEASE

I've got to the Anteroom once but had no clue what to do to get in there. My tip would be when you start a new game/day that you use the rooms to the right and left of you to find rooms with an object(s)-keys, gems, coins before you go straight towards the Anteroom.

I finished room 46 a couple days ago. Wont put any spoilers in yet, but maybe when a few others have played it through a decent amount we can start putting some stuff in tags.
Definitely the most unique and deep game I’ve played in a long time, if not ever. Although towards the end there are some frustrations and I don’t think I’ll go back to do the post-completion stuff.

I keep reminding myself that when I got nudged to start Balatro, it took me 4-5 times opening the game for it to kinda "click" for me. I'm in that place with BP now, but will try to keep tossing pebbles until something happens.

In for one. I missed the Balatro craze, maybe I'll catch this one. Downloading now, but probably won't get to play until tomorrow.

I think this game gives me a headache. I know I can't play first person shooters, but this seemed like it would be okay, since it's not fast moving. I've played less than an hour in two sittings. Day 1 I mapped 18 rooms, Day 2 I mapped 14 rooms. When I played this morning, I thought I was just coming down with something. I felt mostly better when I played just now, but playing again made me feel worse. If I'm feeling 100% tomorrow, I'll try it one more time.

I'm playing with my son, which brings the pace... way down, as we try to limit his screen time. Anyway, enjoying it a bit, but I am working hard to avoid spoilers as that's now a centerpiece of my algorithmically tailored diet on YouTube.

So, I don’t want a general spoiler, I definitely want the series of “aha!” moments that this game is designed to provide.
But for now, my son and I have tried like 30 “days” of this and while we have been taking screenshots and some notes, and have made a few insights along the way… so far none of that information has proven to be at all helpful. All our games just fizzle out as we run out of keys.
Can anyone who’s gotten past this hump just give me a vague indication here? My best guess is we just keep doing what we’re doing and in time more important rooms will reveal, or whatever, and we’ll be making actual progress. But if we’re just on a hamster wheel with this, I’d welcome a mild slap to tell us so.
Post here, or by PM, if you’re willing to help with a tiny bread crumb.

The slow burn continues, he wants to play again this morning. Still haven't really unlocked the game, but I am starting to see some of the apparatus that makes Day 50 more likely to break open than Day 1 was. Have genuinely solved only a few actual puzzles, but... while it hasn't really been a lot of fun yet, I guess it remains interesting. I feel like the floodgates are creaking, though.
