Almost no thought went into the ratings which were given roughly in real life draft order and assigned in rough proportion to ratings new draftees were given in the included game files. Except for QB scramble frequency, no other specific attributes were assigned, only the overall rating. Nobody knows anything about these players yet so adjust as desired. The only thing I did was ensure that all fictional players have the last-resort roster-filler overall rating of 10 (except fictional K/P/LS rated at 0 due to a reported problem with assigning them 10 ratings, so all real players at those positions were rated 1 step higher to encourage them to be selected ahead of fictional ones.) Birthdates, hometowns, colleges, etc. should be as accurate as the public data available.

Since the scrapers commonly used to build historical draft files don't always properly capture some demographic data from the online reference sites, especially hometowns and colleges, I'm working on a 1966-present historical file to fill in all of this missing data - when it's complete, anyone can use my work in their own draft file projects.
