Not even a hint of a smile. I can't say I even understood what part was supposed to be funny.

You really thought it was that funny?

Tigercat 06-21-2007 12:12 AM

I didn't laugh out loud at the Filet o'fish ad, but it got a good smile out of me. I would call it funny and could see how someone could laugh at it.

cthomer5000 06-21-2007 12:31 AM

I'm going "no" on the Filet O'Fish ad.

I think this articulated my feelings better than my own post did.

yes

Ksyrup 06-21-2007 06:44 AM

I didn't think it was funny (I saw it a few days ago on TV), but I did have a WTF? response to it the first time I saw it. I think it was mildly entertaining while at the same time repeatedly beating you over the head with the name of the product they are trying to sell, so whether it is funny or not, it's probably going to be effective.

Ksyrup 06-21-2007 07:39 AM

Not sure if this has been posted yet, but even if it has, it deserves another post. Another Japanese game show, this one like Human Tetris or something.

Funny how he hates them but continues to eat them. The Godfather part made it worth the 2 minutes.

Yeah well, look at him. If he eats that much of something he can't stand, imagine how much he eats of stuff he actually likes!

This is a cross between The Office and The 300. Funny stuff and well acted. I was almost convinced that was Dwight Shrute.

One of my all-time favorite SNL sketches...

Cool quickcut editing to make a guy who can't beatbox or play drum beatbox and play drums (and piano!). Fun to watch.

Nice one Pyser. I missed it too. I would have bet a million dollars there wasn't one.

Sorry if this is already in the thread, but all I can say about it is... what.

MikeVic 07-05-2007 02:24 PM

I think that last pitch was a ball.

It was definitely a ball. The umpire gave him points for effort and originality.

Ah ok cool. That's a funny pitch though.

What was the movie where the kid broke his arm, and could throw over 100mph? And then lost that velocity, so he had to throw his mom's softball pitch to get the final out against some big bad mofo batter? The Kid?

This guy should use that softball pitch too.

Ksyrup 07-05-2007 02:42 PM

Eric Gregg is apparently alive and well and umpiring in Japan.

I watched a bunch and thought that one was the best actually.

Groundhog 07-11-2007 09:34 PM

One of my fave 10cc songs. I had no idea this song had a film clip, but after watching it one thing becomes clear; As far as video rockstars go, these guys sure were great song writers. Lucky they came about before the MTV age.

Pumpy Tudors 07-13-2007 08:55 AM

This young man, Tay Zonday, is going to be a star. Here is his YouTube hit "Chocolate Rain."

spleen1015 07-13-2007 08:58 AM

Looks like he's got to poop the whole time.

cthomer5000 07-13-2007 09:22 AM

Chocolate Rain was awesome.

MJ4H 07-13-2007 09:24 AM

pumpy what the hell

CraigSca 07-13-2007 12:04 PM

Anyone know how many times he says "Chocolate Rain"? My calculator went into scientific notation trying to count.

That looked way too scripted and rehearsed.

All I can say is "oof"

Hmm. I recall my classmates and I playing a variation of that game on the floor of our classroom in the early 70s. We set it up sort of like a hockey league. This salesman dude, though, reminds me of those infomericals hucksters.
