Hmm...well, I make no promises I cannot keep. I've been sitting in my starting room since I entered this godsforsaken dungeon -- other than a brief...sojourn...next door. I intend to show my neighbor next door the what for. And that is all there is to it.

My death is likely imminent.

I just had an epic battle. I'm very lucky that I had purchased a healing potion from the Djinni yesterday, as I needed it and still very nearly died.

It was a statue. Simple enough, right? Not so much.

I attacked it and all hell broke loose. I almost died twice, but finally on my last legs, down to just 2 HP, I connected and took him down.

I heard a voice from above tell me that I had defeated the most powerful foe in the area (I'm still in the lightest colored brick area) and gained a ton of gold, a ton of XP, and jumped to level 3.

Boo Yah.

I now have a lot of gold.

I am in the market for a magical long sword.

Can you get the sword identified? If you do, and it's not cursed, I will offer you a significant amount of gold for it.

I'm interested. I've got 75 gold, some leather armor, and a dagger.

Woot! I didn't get killed again (yet). I did however pick a lock on my chest and scored: a potion, magical leather armor!!!, and 125 gold. Go me. Now, time to decide, do I kick the crap out of the skeletons or venture forward...

I found a trap door and a nasty spider. He got a couple good hits on me, but I still have half-life and I kicked his butt.

I might have a couple things to have identified as well.

I've got three magic items now that I will likely get read at some point. Magic Battle Axe, a potion, and magic leather armor.

gi, I can read some scrolls as a scout so if nobody is able to step up, I might be able to tomorrow.

I'll be moving forward today. Forward meaning to the 2nd room from the left of my starting room. I'm hoping to eventually catch up with one of you to help save my bacon.

I wish I were having more fun with this. Unfortunately, food poisoning isn't fantastic for Poli.

I have to think that the next room I'm entering may have been to the left of someone's starting room. I saw what Poli had (dozens of crawling claws which is a wee-bit intimidating), did anyone else have a room to the left of their starting room?

The scroll is Protection From Acid. Probably has limited uses in the dungeon, but it could save your life in the right situation. Sells for a decent amount. I will send it back to you tomorrow-remind me!

Thomkal charged 10gp, I believe, and I have no problem with that. Understand that according to the powers that be, an item can only be passed once a day. So you'll get it back -- or have me forward it on -- tomorrow.

Odd, that's the room I'm in still. It's the room to the left of my starting room.

Actually, I may try to investigate some of these items myself, such as wielding the axe, trying on the armor, and tasting the potion.

The customer is always right. There is no rush anyway -- I can't return it for your use until tomorrow anyway. Should you choose to pass something over, just make a post similar to gi's and I will confirm.

I will take gi's ID, but please some of you also use the services of my fellow artificer.
