Huh? I've done ID's for free for CR and for bob since I didn't have enough money to buy something from CR, and I screwed up an ID that caused bob to pay more than he wanted to for the horse figurine, but that's been it. It's not like I am just ID'ing everyone's stuff for free -- otherwise no one would be getting stuff ID'ed from anyone other than me.

You have to understand...I was out for something..work I guess, and I come back and I'm reading, "I'll give you free ID's the rest of the game" and "Anyone else want in on this deal" and Jag saying, "Ches has me for some free IDs"...which started a streak of about 3-4 days where I wasn't IDing anything at all.

I mean, I've ID'd a few things since, but nowhere near what I was before the free ID things started getting tossed about.

Anyway, this is all thanks to PB selling me that scroll of acid protection. I met with the Green Slime yesterday..well, sort of. As soon as I entered the room then, I tripped over a wire, it attacked me with acid, and I crawled out of there. Today, I came in prepared -- I knew the wire was there, so I avoided it, and I prepped myself with a scroll of protection from acid. With the scroll, there wasn't even a battle -- I just killed it.

Anyone know what this does?

I'm just letting you know what's happened. If you feel you're not getting to ID as much as the rest of us, you can drop your prices to 5 or something. Although I tried that one day when I needed just a little extra gold for the Djinni sale, and got no takers.

I have a question about the horse figurine. It is used instead of your afternoon action right? And it's like a normal movement right? So you get to kill two rooms worth of monsters in one day basically?

I like help each other out mode more. I mean if Poli needed some gold for something and I had it to spare I'd be happy to just give it to him. We're competing to be the first 5 to finish, but I still look at it at competing against the dungeon. As long as something doesn't hinder me, I'm more than happy to help others out.

It's risky, but I'm considering loading up on healing potions and one figurine to try and get an extra room in for potentially more items and more XP.

I wonder if the potion of absorbing absorbs all kinds of damage and how much total it absorbs and whether it wears off.

If it makes you feel any better, the wight I fought hit me once and took 400xp. I couldn't say whether he was immune to magic or not.

I think it just absorbs it and doesn't wear off. I can't recall what 'types' of damage...I'd presume it to be all...but I'm not 100% sure.

That's really been my goal all along. Us against the dungeon...but I think it's clear that's not the case for all of us.

Levelled up again today, life is good. Poli, we're rocking buddy. If you want to use the horse tomorrow, we can, otherwise we can hold tight for a while. I'll be on later (much probably as it's been a little rough today for my wife but things are going well) so I'll send in an order to move into the next room (that nobody has been to yet, yay!).

I wouldn't get the horse to use it until tomorrow. What do you think?

Oh, Poli, I am also buying a bundle of herbs so that I'll have 1 bundle as a back-up and the potion of healing from Pass as a back-up (I told Abe to feed me my last bundle after our battle just so my HP stay relatively high in case something unexpected happens).
