Real Steel has maybe the worst ad campaign ever. It's been going on since mid June, IIRC. I'm so fatigued at this point I feel like 2 or 3 sequels have been released. Please make it stop already.

It looks horrible this movie. Unspeakable bad. I feel bad because I like Hugh Jackman and it was filmed, at least in part, in Michgian, so I would like it to do well, but it looks like utter crap.

I can't figure out whether it's trying to hype itself as a bad-ass futuristic boxing movie, or a warm-hearted father-and-son movie. I've seen trailers that lead heavily in each direction, and if the trailers themselves have me confused as to what sort of movie it is, the movie itself will probably be even more confused and meandering.
