Honestly if people want an alternative to Font that isn't Dan and isn't me than vote for Suicane. He is a former politician and I think his skills would be much better than Font or Dans

It's the major catastrophe that makes me think Chief and triage works... not sure a head of hospital type helps us here really..

I see nothing wrong with Dan for leader compared to anyone else for leader. Just cause he isn't here is no reason to go against him. There are other votes that are probably more controversial just based on particular skillsets.

But you realize he doesn't have to lead to use it, right? I mean, he's for sure going to work in the medical facility. I guess you can argue he has experience working in a high stress environment, but having him lead takes him away from where he's prob best suited, handling emergency medical operations.

It is more that he hasn't been very forthcoming about his past on Earth than the fact he is not here right now.

i find it weird that SEVERAL people are vague with their characters. Makes me think a lot of them ARE vague. I'm not very specific at all myself.

So for leader I'm just listening to the people that want it and seeing if I like them or not.

It's not like I am a hospital administrator. I am the head physician of a very large hospital, the doctor that a doctor like Chief Rum would report to and turn to when he did not know what to do. It certainly would make more sense to have me leading the medical effort and directing the other physicians, just like I do on earth, including emergency physicians.

Just for in game reasons, Zinto's been active and putting out good ideas (to me). His character has some solid leadership experience, though admittedly we're not selling anything out here or appealing to shareholders.

I wish I had a great reason or a magic wand to get everyone to vote for me;). I still think that my skillset and past experience will help the colony flourish. I am confident in that. I just don't believe a professor is the best choice or a mystery man for that matter.

I'm not sure I particularly think any of the candidates for leader are the best qualified, but I more and more find DanGarion's commentary to be disturbing. Better the keys to power be in the hands of a academic than a potentially corrupt politician with Suicane.

I'm fairly certain I can go toe to toe in a fist fight with anyone of you atrophied colonists. Isn't that what you want in a Sheriff? Someone who can put some muscle into the mix if necessary.

If you want to vote Old Man River in as Sheriff, realize it wont be hard to overthrow the leader. A plotting, scheming, General type is just the guy to make such a maneuver.

Or you can go for the doughnut eating meter maid who is pretending to be a beat cop.

The choice is clear, you just haven't realized it yet.

I'm more than willing and qualified to do the job, but I'd be lying if I said I'm not a bit apprehensive about taking such a prominent role, mainly because of sheer game play ability. That being said, I don't think there is anyone more qualified for this particular role in the game.
