See post 546. Not that it matters now as I am done in the night phase after that one. |
I'm not swayed by the double reveal at all - the first one attempting to uproot a role that hinders the Blakekin and the second that now leaves little time for a counter-claim to the most powerful (and not backed up anymore) role in the game.
|
That was a weird fake reveal if you are the seer..

I did see it, and I voted ntn. |

I was hoping that would buy me time, and that the wolves wouldn't want to attack me then. |
Quote:
you both have unverifiable roles at this point. |
Damn. If EF is lying, now I'm toast tomorrow. Blah.
|

Fair enough. Why wait so long? |
I roled the dice that either the real diseased would not come forward or that it isn't in the game. Take hoops down next at least. He would have been my scan tonight.
|
Quote:
Not disagreeing, but everyone is unverified essentially at this point. If he's lying, at least we know who he is tomorrow (EF). |
EF, in the unlikely event that you are the seer you should post who you scanned so we can benefit from a COT list.
If you want to support your arguments of who you scanned by referencing posts then I suggest you type quickly. |

I was hoping to not have to reveal at all. |
So it's tied, right?
|
Quote:
Looks like it. |

Good point about the COT. |
Quote:
He said he scanned PB, and if he is the seer he was slutted night 1, so has no other scan. |
It's 6-5 EF.
|
Quote:
I did in my reveal. I took a chance at scanning PB, thought he was behind toying with me with the slutting. |
This all really strikes me as wolfish with the slutting on night 1 and this double reveal but I don't know if I want to seal his fate.
|
Quote:
where did you get that from? |
It is incredibly bad luck if he is telling the truth. I'll take my chances that he is not.
|
Quote:
I meant his first reveal as diseased was weird, but I guess it makes sense being that if the wolves believed him they'd avoid attacking him |
Quote:
Why would the wolves slut one of their own this early when they could take a chance at either killing the seer or stopping a scan? |
Quote:
I guess, I agree. I'll take it out of reach. Unvote ntn Vote EF |
Quote:
Well, we have the most to lose if we're wrong. |
time check
|
Bad lynch!!!
|
That is time, schmidity's vote counts
|
We've had two reports of slutting in conjunction with wolf scans, so it is not an "either/or" on the killing the seer.
|
Go village.
|
Now I'm a late switch, so if he's bad, I really won't have a defense.

To gain early trust. It's a move that's definitely been employed before with that mechanic |
Ok, one of my dogs is farting. taking him out while waiting for the write-up.
|
I can only hope the duke sees the truth.

You played your gut late - hopefully making the right call. We'll see in a minute. |

At the end of another long day, you begin to tire of these battles. Not battles of the body, no, but battles of the spirit, battles of the mind, battles of your very soul. You are not arguing over which actor is better – George Clooney or Brad Pitt, nor are you quibbling over who took your apple from your lunchbox. Today you debate over a person’s life.
The triviality of yesterday and yesteryear taunts you from behind while today you face a task both enormous and taxing. Who among you is possessed by the Blakekin? Who among you has been taken hostage. Although a few candidates emerge during the day, eventually your concentration falls on Claude Clawson. He is a man of lyrics, depression, and lobbying. He is a triumvirate of incompatibility, combining art with advocating for issues with a depressed soul. He makes Eeyore looks positively effervescent. It is easy to pin the blame on Claude. He’s always been an outsider. He’s never fit in with anyone. You are surprised he actually has a girlfriend. Claude is an easy target, and you take advantage, hoping beyond hope that Claude is possessed. As the final vote for Claude is announced, he sighs with relief. “At last.” He says. Claude walks gently to the furnace, and begins to spin a poem on the spot, ending with a short and soft “Adieu” He enters the flame, and does not yell, does not cry, and does not look back. That certainly didn’t seem like a Blakekin. You hurry to his locker and find… Well, it looks bad. Claude apparently used his rather outcast state to get a new view of people unblemished by proximity. You find a notebook with all of your names, and various ways that you might or might not be Blakekin. It is obvious that Claude (EagleFan) was on your side. EagleFan was the Sleuth. Chapter 5 has ended. 6 has begun and ends at 1:30 am. |
wow, that sucks
so we have a COT of .. PB? |
Well, that did not work out very well. Hopefully someone guards PB tonight and we can hash out the rest in the morning. I'm pretty sure I'll be around to argue why I should not be the next lynch.
|
oops
lol |
I quit.
|
good luck village
|
I stand by my rational.
EF claimed a role that couldn't be confirmed by a seer scan, and I think a scan of him would have been wasted. IMO he would have been better off revealing and being guarded tonight, giving us the extra scan. |
Sigh.
|
GD, sorry I couldn't help EF. My son is having a horrible night trying to sleep and it's been brutal. Shit guys, I'm sorry.
|
Quote:
Wow, yeah, that's a great COT. F*** guys, I really am sorry for not being here to move my vote. |
Quote:
I mean, there were people here that could have moved their vote and other people who voted for him, so don't beat yourself up too much. |
Quote:
Yeah, but I try very hard not to screw things by not being around and I couldn't help it tonight. I generally do feel pretty shitty about this. Anyway, I'll move on but sorry EF. Also, while I'm COT, think long and hard about whether or not to guard me tonight. I'm not sure the guard may not be more useful elsewhere. |
Does anybody have how the final vote looked?
|

why would you have moved your vote? |
