Well, I've wanted more deaths. Of course, that was before I was pseudo-playing along with The Jackal. I guess there is a certain amount of karma at play here.

Sorry to see you go CR and Jackal! Was there anyway for us to reverse your curse CR? Oh and I guess artificer's are pretty powerful after all. :) Well done Chesapeake, even though you are evil now.

I agree, so the owners of the dungeon will ban participants from killing each other (mano e mano) but will let wheel traps and demon llamas do that work for them...for shame.:rant: :D

1) You were on the list, Dubb. I picked Jackal because I was pretty sure that he was about the same level and also pretty sure he did not have a crack at the djinni sale, which had some items in it to which I am particularly vulnerable.

Jackal did have something that made him immune to paralyzation and, I suspect, sleep spells. Anyone that did not have immunity to those or could not kill me in the 1st round was probably not going to get a second shot at me.

2) I think Abe is saying that the potion would not have been allowed, in which case you would have needed another string in your banjo.

Jackal/Hoops, you fought well. But there can be only one. Or five. Whatever.

Oh, I almost forgot. I'm evil now. Does anyone have some black dye for my robes? On the plus side, I already have the goatee.

Well, I'm not sure yet -- it's just a hunch. All I did was put on some armor.

Was it red and black and covered with pentacles? Or did Abe refer to it as "Mega-evil Demon Armor or Soul Sucking?" If so, it just might be evil.

Seriously? Kwhit had to bathe himself in blood with his sword. I had to kill a friend and colleague and stand over his lifeless corpse. All you did was put on some armor. Evil can't be getting that soft, can it?

as for me, I stood before the Forge of the Gods awed, knowing that I could create a masterwork from it. I lost myself in the work, tuning out the fire giants and the heat coming from the forge and sometime later came out of my trance and found I had created a +5 staff!

I was quickly forced to use my newly forged staff though as a frost giant emerged from the tunnels! Thankfully he hadn't seen me yet, so I was able to get the drop on him, yes an artificer got an ambush attack and I made the best of it doing 15 damage! I could only dream of doing that kind of damage with a weapon before.

It quickly became a battle to see if he would whittle down all my mirror images before I could do enough damage to kill him. Using my wands and shiny staff I did a lot of damage, but he knocked out every one of my duplicates. One more blow from my staff though felled the giant! Got a lot of xp, but sadly no level, some gold, a nifty scroll, and of course my +5 staff.

Now though I'm forced to go into the next room without any of my mirror images, but all my spells and wands available to me. A bit risky, but one I will have to take.

So I guess PF only makes a slightly less crappy evil minion.
