I was a Major in the US Air Force having served on B52’s as WSO (Weapons Systems Officer) in Desert Storm and later in the Balkans with over 800 combat flight hours. I agree these J6 guys that served in the military ALL should be hung. |

Reminds me if this case which was insane. Government was shutting down and arresting any Muslim charity they could. 65 years. Remanded with no bail. There is a terrific documentary and boom on the case. https://www.reuters.com/article/idUSN27227774 https://theintercept.com/2018/08/05/...estine-israel/ |
Another Proud Boy, Pezzola who cried at his sentencing and told the judge he was a changed man-got 10 years, and smiled and yelled Trunp won! after he was being led away. Not the first to have done that and the sentence should now be appealed by Garland

10 years less than federal guidelines. I can see why he was so happy. |
It annoys the shit out of me these judges are coming in so far under the recommendations. They should be throwing the book at all of them to deter anyone from ever trying this again.

Yeah I don't know the rules on sentencing for judges. It just seems like these crimes are unexplored territory for them, and most don't seem willing to go for the maximums |
Enrique Tarrio gets 22 years in prison for his Jan 6 involvement. Govt wanted 30.
|
Federal guidelines were also 30. It's a lot of time but note that these defendants have gotten well below what normal folks would get.

Trump loses again to E. Jean Carroll, and we didn't even need the jury for the verdict. (Just the damages)
Trump is liable in the second E. Jean Carroll defamation case, judge rules; January trial will determine damages | CNN Politics Basically: "A jury reached the verdict that the 2022 statements about calling Carroll a liar was defamation, and since that fact has already been established, Trump can't say the 2019 comments (also calling her a liar) wasn't ALSO defamation. Jury will determine damages: I wonder if this can go on indefinitely. I know she filed for statements post-verdict. If the same chain is honored in each case, it's a legal endless circle: Trump Lies, Carroll calls it defamatory, Trump Loses, Trump Lies again, rinse and repeat. It'd be funny if every time through the circle it costs Trump a few million. He could just save time by setting up an account to be debited every time he defames Carroll. If the 5 million per trial in damages continues, gets mighty expensive mighty quick |
The Trump version of a Swear Jar!

I'm sure these white nationalists that aren't white will do really well in prison where they're a little more strict on who gets into the club. |
I think the bigger issue for him is he was a snitch.

wow Peter Navarro's contempt of Congress could be over in 1 day after prosecution rests and defense won't call any witnesses because who could he call, Steve Bannon? Closing statementa tomorrow and then jury gets case.

Yeah, I read up on his history and prior to all the Proud Boys stuff he sung like a canary multiple times to investigators, putting a lot of other people in prison. I won't shed a tear. Before they lock him up they ought to escort him to a tree and tell him to apologize to it for working hard to create the oxygen he breathes. |

And the jury now has the case after Navarro's attorney basically says he agrees with the prosecution on most of the facts of this case. And much like Navarro's "Green Bay Sweep" I still don't understand why he thinks he should get away with ignoring a subpoena. |

And surprise, surprise-found guilty |
And his lawyer tried to get a mistrial because the jury left the courthouse just before issuing the verdict and may have seen Jan 6 protests outside.

They are hanging everything on appeal and hopes the appellate court will consider he was under Presidential privilege. About what I figured.

I assume stays out for now pending his appeal.

lol at giving him 4 months for a sentencing hearing for something that isn't that serious of a crime. This country is just terrified of holding anyone who had a shred of power accountable for crimes.

In today's Q news, Donald Trump wrote a check on September 1st to the US Treasury to wipe out national dept.

So I take you also don't believe that he secretly worked with the US treasury to acquire and ship in the gold required to get us back on the gold standard? |
He paid for it with leverage guys. He's borrowed against the value of the United States for when he takes it over in 2025.

This is amazing

I like that there's a smattering of folks who applaud simply for the word windmills. "He's playing the hits!"
