A costly win over Stanford, as 95-rated RB Danny Clark broke his collarbone and is out of the season.

EF - Does Saturday at 8:30 a.m. work for you?
|
I'm on call Friday night... as long as I don't have a horrible night of call, it works. I don't want to try to play such a big game on 2 hours of sleep :)
|

Well, I'm spotting you a stud RB. Seems fair to me! Would Sunday be better? |
No... I'm on every other Friday and Saturday night until we hire another psychiatrist. :(
|
What I can definitely do though is post here if I'm having a bad night so you will know first thing in the morning.. keeping my fingers crossed for a good night! :)
|
Sounds like a plan. Good luck!
|
When does cartman get back?
I screwed that up guys. I meant to ask for no human regular season games. I'm not sure how we are going to get this in... but we will find a way. |
The ER is becoming very busy... no sleep so far tonight and not looking like I will get any in the next several hours :(
Edit: 2 more just came in :( No go for 8:30 today. If Saturday night call is better, I can play Sunday morning. I probably will be sleeping 6 or 7 AM until 2 or 3 PM tomorrow. |
Sorry it didn't work out. We can try for Sunday morning if that works out.

Texas is an in-conference game, so no control over that. |

Pups just woke me up a few minutes ago. Didn't get to sleep until 6 AM. Hopefully, tonight will be better and we can play tomorrow. Thanks! :) |
Doh... missed that.
Crap. OK well Cartman ping me when you get this and let's compare schedules. |
I'll get back home late on Sunday night, and will be around all next week.

8:30? |
It started out a good night and looking good for our chances to play, but just as I was about to go to bed, 4 patients came into the ED. Just saw 2 of them and 2 more just came in...
So, I'm sorry but I can't play tomorrow :( Next best times are Wednesday night or next Saturday morning (preferred I think.) I'm not on call next weekend so I'm certain I can play that time. |
Let's aim for Saturday morning. It's a busy week for me both at work and with appointments.
|
EF: Are we on for 8:30 a.m. tomorrow?
|

Yes, it works for me. :) |
Excellent.
|
Congrats and good game Kodos.
|
Any updates on Texas vs. FAU?
|
Havent heard back from cartman.
Im on a project right now that has me working ~4pm-2am x 7 for probably the next month. Good news is I am free during the day m-f... |
Unfortunately, I'm not available during the day. On top of it, I'm heading out on Friday, and won't be back until the 27th.
|
Alright fearless leader.
What do we do... I hate leaving it up to the fate of the CPU as I think I have a very good team this year, but understand if that's the only choice. I also have a couple visits already scheduled and wont be able to ensure stats are padded, which sucks. If simming is the solution Just let me know and I will recruit before hand. |
Pacing in the NCAA leagues - Front Office Football Central
I think this would be a good thing to discuss in a separate thread. |

In this scenario, I think the fairest thing to do is put Texas on autopilot. |

Week 6 - Deadline is 2/28 (Tues) at 11 p.m. EST
Week 5 Results
Indiana 34, USC 31 Florida Atlantic 42, Texas 35 UTSA 77, Texas State 14 Week 6 Games #1 Indiana (3-0) at Oregon State (1-2) #20 Alabama (2-3) at #2 Florida Atlantic (4-0) #3 UTSA (4-0) at Ole Miss (1-4) #12 Ohio State (1-2) at #7 USC (3-1) #13 Texas (2-1) at #9 Oklahoma (4-0) |
USC took out our frustration from last week by demolishing Ohio State although the defense gave up more points than I wanted to see despite having 9 or 10 sacks.
|
Dola -
Everyone has played and is green except Indiana :) |
Curse me for holding things up!

Week 7 - Deadline is 2/27 (Mon) at 11 p.m. EST
We're on to Week 7!
Week 6 Results Indiana 63, Oregon State 14 Florida Atlantic 28, Texas 21 UTSA 42, Ole Miss 7 USC 84, Ohio State 24 Week 7 Games #1 Indiana (4-0) at #23 Michigan State (2-2) #2 Florida Atlantic (5-0) at #21 South Carolina (1-3) #9 Georgia Tech (4-1) at #3 UTSA (5-0) #4 Michigan (4-0) at #8 USC (4-1) |
Another strong win for us. I think our defense is the best its been. The LB's have really become a strength. Our pass attack was incredibly efficient in this one, only one incompletion on a ball batted at the line.
|
USC's defense had a very rough 2nd and 3rd quarter, but our offense was on fire all day except for 2 mistakes. We cruised past #4 Michigan.
|
Will be playing this evening.
|
FYI Internet is down and had been a couple hours at home. Don't think I can play on my phone lol.
Will be getting off early AM and try then. |
Got my game in a couple hours ago.
Another win, but my team is struggling. Every game has been a 4th quarter affair to win, never getting the breath to pile up stats or impress recruits. I am going to start lineup shuffling, because something is off and at times I feel like there is some hidden code where changing one starter can unlock improved performance. |
Or a coaching change. ;)

Week 8 - Deadline is 3/8 (Wed) at 11 p.m. EST
Week 7 Results
Indiana 56, Michigan State 14 UTSA 41, Georgia Tech 6 Florida Atlantic 42, South Carolina 34 USC 78, Michigan 38 Week 8 Games Georgia (3-4) at #1 Indiana (5-0) #2 UTSA (6-0) at Virginia Tech (1-4) #7 USC (5-1) at Wisconsin (2-3) |

Touche... LOl But Ive seen this in Single player before and I cant quite explain it. There will be games where your entire team just seems to move a little sluggish. RB dont hit the hole as quickly, complete a pass and the WR is tackled immediately on a route type where they usually get separation. You can dig into the stats and you should have a speed difference advantage etc. Then you can make a change in your starting lineup and viola everything hums again. Ive felt like the CPU punishes you if you are trying to force a young guy to start (like in SP if you are trying for career records etc) or force feed a Heisman hopeful etc. Again maybe I dont know how to describe it, but Ive seen it happen and Im determined to find the player to make it happen again. |
FWIW, my back-up RB has been doing much better than my starting RB was before he went down for the season.
|
I'll get this game in tonight too most likely.
|
ready here
|
We're done too.
