I can take being blown out. I can take being straight out played. This is bullshit.

I thought it was a fumble. Ball was barely loose and his hand pushed it forward. Young had control on the incomplete pass.

HerRealName 01-10-2022 10:17 PM

I have absolutely no rooting interest in this game but Alabama is getting every call. They won't even call the obvious offsides penalties.

This unfortunately.

I am surprised GA is in this game with this QB.

Ksyrup 01-10-2022 10:19 PM

That should have been a clear path foul.

spleen1015 01-10-2022 10:20 PM

GA should get the TD and the ball after that PI. :D

Ksyrup 01-10-2022 10:21 PM

Sure, you have enough time to spin, fake a handoff, and then take 3 more steps back.

Nice pass there though.

RainMaker 01-10-2022 10:21 PM

RB with a crucial block on that one.

GrantDawg 01-10-2022 10:21 PM

Game Manger that.

DUDE! THAT CATCH!

spleen1015 01-10-2022 10:22 PM

Should've tackled him again.

sovereignstar v2 01-10-2022 10:22 PM

This be a good one.

His eyes were closed.

Kodos 01-10-2022 10:24 PM

Nice answer there.

spleen1015 01-10-2022 10:25 PM

Thought the game was over after the fumble. Good job GA.

Ksyrup 01-10-2022 10:28 PM

Here's where they can win it.

Kodos 01-10-2022 10:38 PM

You’re gonna do it, Rocky!

GrantDawg 01-10-2022 10:40 PM

Oh my.

Props to Georgia. Thought they were done after the fumble

Lathum 01-10-2022 10:41 PM

Georgia should have gone for two. Would have been game over if they got it.

Ksyrup 01-10-2022 10:41 PM

I understand the "when to go for 2" chart, but if they kicked the XP after the last TD, this game is over.

Agreed. Either go all in or don't.

Going up by only 2 with 7 minutes left in a game filled with Field Goals would've been an incredibly stupid move.

cuervo72 01-10-2022 10:53 PM

Hey, good on ya, GA!

/didn't watch, sick of Alabama

RainMaker 01-10-2022 10:55 PM

That Georgia defense was as good as advertised.

larrymcg421 01-10-2022 10:57 PM

Man, I get that Alabama can't win, but for the OL to give up and let their QB get slammed like that is shitty.

RainMaker 01-10-2022 11:01 PM

Saban when a team can match up talent wise.

MizzouRah 01-10-2022 11:06 PM

What a defense Georgia has, glad they took it light on us this year. :P

Atocep 01-10-2022 11:09 PM

In one of those nice oddities, Kelee Ringo was friends with my son in middle school when he lived in Tacoma.

rjolley 01-10-2022 11:32 PM

Congrats to the Bulldogs on a great win and to the Tide for a great game. Can't ask for more than that.

Brian Swartz 01-10-2022 11:46 PM

Well done Georgia! SEC Shorts will have to find some new material now.

The previous film room alternate channels were pretty good. They had a panel of coaches in the studio along with an analyst talking to the viewers to explain what was going on from their perspective.

For whatever reason, this year, they decided to gather Jimbo Fisher and his staff into the Texas A&M auditorium, presumably with the expectation they would be explaining the game from their perspective to the viewers. However, it resembled a group of people in a movie theater, with tiered seating and they were sitting apart from each other. A couple of assistants in the back had the look of "I'm only here because the teacher said so."

Instead, we got 3 1/2 hours of Jimbo spewing out incoherent thoughts after every play, like Rainman with a country twang. His staff would occasionally mumble a comment or two, but they deferred to the smartest man in the room to ramble on for the most part The only time the assistants engaged in any extended dialogue was in the final minute of the game, when they talked about what they were going to order from "Steak and Shake." By that time, I don't think they realized their conversation was being carried live on ESPN, or perhaps they didn't care by that point.

albionmoonlight 01-11-2022 06:47 AM

Congrats to Georgia. That one will feel good for a while.

Ksyrup 01-11-2022 07:38 AM

I saw 10 seconds of the Jimbo channel and it was an interview with James Coley coming back from a break and I took that entire thing to be a commercial for Texas A&M. The joke in Tallahassee among the media was about how fast Jimbo talked. He's definitely not a top choice for this kind of thing - at least, not as the guy driving the entire conversation.

albionmoonlight 01-11-2022 07:47 AM

I spent most of my time watching the Skycam channel (or whatever it was called).

cartman 01-11-2022 09:57 AM

The first P5 team Alabama plays next year is Texas. HALP!

Hopefully they take out all their frustrations on Utah State.

I'm hoping that Georgia finally marries Hope!

GrantDawg 01-11-2022 10:43 AM

Two morning after thoughts:
1. David Pollack predicted before the season that Alabama was going to win the SEC championship game, but Georgia would advenge the loss in the Natty. That is an impressive preseason prediction that I wonder what odds that bet would have paid.
2. It is fascinating that there is no NFL buzz around Kirby. I don't see him being interested in moving up really, but you think there woukd at least be a rumor. I think the only way Kirby ever considers it if he has something like a 3 championships in 5 year run, or something like that. Then he might maybe think "what if:? He should be getting a ten year 100 million dollar contract signed in the next few days. It us really nice feeling secure in your coach for years to come.

Just stopped by to say Congratulations to all the old timers. This forum has recorded your pain over the last few decades. You deserve it.

Jesus man, I love it when old names pop up like the good ol days.
