That would be pretty funny, lol

I know, but you are kind of an interested party at the moment and probably would be OK with that outcome  I've just seen too many weird reversals late along these lines. And while they do work from time to time, I would prefer they happen in a day where there isn't any meaningful action late, and we seem overly united on a soft candidate. |
Quote:
Was a wolf two games ago where a wolf didn't vote. Also just sayin' |
Even with me on the block, I agree, hoops. I know I am good and I know we got some good stuff late tonight, so hopefully it can help in the long-run
|
Quote:
Yep, I know it can happen both ways. But I really think it is a low percentage play as a rule. |
unvote bhlloy
vote Jag |
Quote:
It wasn't a play. That person got caught up in real life stuff and wasn't able to get on to vote. |
Deadline. Calculating and getting Night Actions. Writeup soon.

What is Lathum doing? Some odd votes there. In my opinion at least.

This seems...random. |
Good action late tonight...think the village might have some good stuff to go off of.
|
Now just take advantage of it and don't let me die in vain!

I didn't realize it was so close to deadline, I thought there was still time to lead a charge against Jag |

That actually makes me feel better about Lathum. |
Quote:
Do you have a bridge in Brooklyn you want to sell me too? But that's alright, I accept you play a deeper game and your oddness has some rhyme or reason that will eventually come to light. |
Quote:
Knowing Lathum, that is probably true, heh |
Today CF learns the "oh crap I better read through those PM's again to make sure I don't miss someone's actions... as the clock ticks ramping up the pressure" feeling... :)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pxIMuLQ5Tps The tension mounts. Owls hoot in defiance as Akela looks between his arguing pack for concensus. |

I think I have been pretty vocal the past few games from 6-7 are a rough time for me. I saw some interactions between you and Autumn I want to explre and saw someone had switched to you. Thought we could get a run going. Not sure what else I would have to gain. |
Great, now I have to take a leak...

He seemed like someone outside of me, Zinto and PackerFanatic that could become a candidate if anything shifted late since he had one vote and someone else had expressed interest in voting for him. Plus he voted for me on day one, a clear wolf move. :p |

At first, no one comes forth to speak for the man's cub, until Baloo, the large, sleepy brown bear whom everyone trusts and teaches the Law of the Jungle to the wolf's cub, lumbers forward and speaks.
Attachment 2691 "A man's cub? A man's cub? I speak for the man's cub. There's no harm in a man's cub. Let him run with the pack." "Is there another?" queries wolf chief Akela, "we've heard from Baloo, we need another." The wolves continue to quarrel and argue about it, some getting rather heated. They shout insults and strike each other. "My brothers, I am not of this council but I only know that in disputes such as this, the Law of the Jungle says that if you so desire to banish one from your pack, and it is agreed upon by vote, then that wolf is banished." "Yes! Yes! Listen to Bagheera" shouts another. Akela considers this. "If this is your desire my brothers then we should vote." The wolves bark in agreement and one by one begin to vote as Akela calls out each wolf in question and places pawprints next to their name. |
Ok, looks like it's time to switch from Sideline Green.

I don't want to argue your real life stuff distracting you, I just find it very hard to believe that an experienced player like yourself would not know what time deadline is, especially when there had been a discussion in the thread about it. Now, what would you have to gain from lying about something that seems so blatantly obvious, I haven't a clue (thus my above comment). |
Night all.

I know what time the deadline is, I just didn't realize that time had come :) |

I buy it. He has a cute lil kid. |

League Cup 2nd round draw. We draw a home match against Coventry. |

Oops, wrong window. |
i think cf is screwing with us
|
So, anyone know any good jokes?
|
For what its worth, I didn't move my vote because none of the leading candidates tried to make a role claim or beg to be saved, thus I think all of them are villagers at this point.

Attachment 2692
After the very long proceeding, Akela tallies and retallies and announces, "I have listened to each vote and we have no clear winner." There is murmurring going about. "What does this mean?" "No clear winner?" "A tie?" "A tie? Kill them all! Lynch every one of them. They are all no good for us!" Akela announces, "Now the Law of the Jungle does have a rule for that." Akela turns and consults a sacred stone. "Let's see, consult this chart here....roll this bone die here. Hmmm....why, that is odd." "Hang them all! They want us to protect a man's cub. Man cub's are evil! Kill them both!" shouts the same voice as before. Akela continues, "Very well. The Law of the Jungle has dictated that because of this tie vote, it has been randomly determined that neither candidate will be banished." A collective sigh is heard amongst the group. "...but a third," adds Akela, "And the bone die has determined that as well." "No! No! That's not fair!" says a small brown figure, "Man cubs must be eaten! Kill them both." Akela continues, frowning "The sacred bone die has chosen YOU." Akela points a decisive paw at the small brown figure that has been the loudest about killing them all. The wolves part and reveal that it is not a wolf after all, but a jackal. It is TABAQUI. You can tell it is Tabaqui because of his JAG-ged hair and spikes down the back. Attachment 2693 "You are hereby banished from... No, you are hereby put to death for your treachery against the pack." "You must serve my master. It isn't fair!" At once the wolves are upon him. He pleads with them and tries to get away, but they all pounce. Tabaqui tries to fight back, but it is in vain. Attachment 2694 The jackal is killed. It is a vicious act, but that is the Law of the Jungle. "Phew, the stench of tiger is upon him." "My friends," says Akela, "Let us speak no more of this. It is done. We are no longer safe at the council rock. I suggest we retire and protect our cubs. And with that, the wolves leave the JAG-ged jackal carcass there for the buzzards. It is not good meat for wolves. |
Woot!
|
Woohoo!
|
I guess we can rule out the irony of The Jackal from being The Jackal
|
So he was bad? I'm confused
|
Quote:
Yes, Tabaqui was a bad role. The cunning wolf in fact (though for the purposes of this game he wasn't actually a wolf). |
Getting the cunning wolf on Day 1 is about as good as it gets. I would say that was worth the wait.
|
Well today turned out to be a pleasant surprise. We got the cunning wolf and it is someone who I would have a hard time voting for especially if they scanned good. I am wondering how there was a tie vote though.
|
I had a feeling about Jag
|
Quote:
I have a feeling Kaa changed someones vote hoping a tie would kill off two villagers, but instead we got a random kill of anyone with a vote that landed on a wolf. If so, then thank you Kaa. :) |
sure you did
|
Quote:
JAG voted for me, therefore he must have been a wolf. I think we can just lynch everyone who had a vote on me at some point an call it a game. :p |
Sweet pics thus far CF and a sweeter result. Removing the cunning early makes any seer scans we receive undisputable. Flyers win, village does well. No night actions yet right? Hopefully we don't lose anyone important and then it'll be a great D1
|
well that certainly was a surprising (and wonderful) result. Poor JAG is not going to be happy when he wakes up in the morning. I think we can safely say we will have a lot to talk about on Day 2 this time around.
|
I hope Autumn gets scanned, something about their interactions earlier today pinged my radar
