what is the difference if you go out early. Eli has 2 titles and Peyton 1. Both get to the playoff pretty often and Eli finds ways to either win or not lose and Peyton chokes.

It probably wouldn't have mattered but why did McCarthy insta punt on 4th and 4 from midfield? There were only 9 minutes left in the game and his defense hasn't made a stop all night. The 9ers, with Kaepernick playing like he is, should be able to make it past whichever team wins tomorrow.

Given his career qb rating of 96%, it is about what you would expect given the average playoff team is better than the average regular season team. In fact, his QB playoff rating is better than Brady's coming into this season.
