Eli is the Derek Jeter of football. In a 1 game winner take all setup I would take Eli over his brother.

I choose Eli

So you are asking if Id take the Colts from 98 or the Giants since 04 with 1 year of the Broncos in there on Peytons?

I think Id go with the Colts 98 and Denver 12. Im not sure that 1 extra title means more than all of the extra stuff the Colts have gotten out of Peyton. He brought them back from the dead.

Danny 01-12-2013 09:09 PM

But your question is dumb because te I take Bradshaw over any anyone in history. There's no question that j

Danny 01-12-2013 09:10 PM

Choosing which to take and build my team around I take Peyton

Jas_lov 01-12-2013 09:17 PM

Pam Oliver said McCarthy's adjustment on defense will be to bring MORE pressure and leave the middle of the field even more exposed. And now old man Saturday is back on the o-line for one play, sack. This doesn't look good.

Well, then I'd take Otto Graham and win even more mua-ah-a-ha!

:)

jbergey22 01-12-2013 09:25 PM

Well Dan Marino was as great as they come and he has all of 0 super bowl wins. No one will ever be able to convice me hes not a top 5 all time QB.

This is weird. Playing this game I'd take Dilfer over Marino.

Lathum 01-12-2013 09:35 PM

FWIW I'm not saying Eli is better than Peyton, I am saying I would take Eli over Peyton. Hard to prove me wrong when you look at their playoff performances.

kingfc22 01-12-2013 09:36 PM

Kaep does it again!!!

Scoobz0202 01-12-2013 09:38 PM

That was a crazy run. He just put it in 11th gear.

RedKingGold 01-12-2013 09:38 PM

Shaping up to be a classic at the Stick.

So 'missing the playoffs' = 'leading your team to the #1 seed in the AFC'?

jbergey22 01-12-2013 09:39 PM

I guess I can see why Harbaugh made this switch. Its just too bad the defense seems to play better with Smith playing QB for some odd reason.

kingfc22 01-12-2013 09:40 PM

Niners defense needs to make a huge play to keep the momentum.

EagleFan 01-12-2013 09:40 PM

Can we save the Eli vs. Peyton crap for another time there's a damn good game on.

kingfc22 01-12-2013 09:44 PM

Ginn needs to let that bounce

Yeah I don't think a spy would have helped much on that play. Just wow!

He is just so damn consistent in that role.

Yes. He sure is

RedKingGold 01-12-2013 09:51 PM

An absolutely beautiful drive by the 49ers.

kingfc22 01-12-2013 09:52 PM

Niners need to finish this long drive with a TD. FG is a win for GB

Scoobz0202 01-12-2013 09:52 PM

Not sure if they mentioned it in the game, but apparently Kaep set the record for rushing yards in a playoff game for a QB.

edit: and only ten yards away from single game period

kingfc22 01-12-2013 09:57 PM

Now time for Aldon and Brooks to get in Rodgers face

what is the difference if you go out early. Eli has 2 titles and Peyton 1. Both get to the playoff pretty often and Eli finds ways to either win or not lose and Peyton chokes.

It is easy to cherry pick this season because the Giants missed to playoffs, but anyone who watches football knows Peyton chokes in the post season.

Glengoyne 01-12-2013 09:59 PM

Well ginn set the niner's up for a nice drive, now we'll see how Cobb did for the pack.

The kick return game may not be done rearing its head tonight.

kingfc22 01-12-2013 10:03 PM

Now Kaep needs to protect the ball

kingfc22 01-12-2013 10:05 PM

All time record for rushing by a QB in any game

jbergey22 01-12-2013 10:06 PM

So does Aaron Rodgers drop in the QB list because his defense cant get Kaepernick off the field?

RedKingGold 01-12-2013 10:07 PM

Packers defense is toast.

kingfc22 01-12-2013 10:08 PM

Come on. Need one more score.

kingfc22 01-12-2013 10:11 PM

And the Packers fall for the oldest trick in the book.

RedKingGold 01-12-2013 10:11 PM

Show me what you got, what you got Raji.

kingfc22 01-12-2013 10:12 PM

Shove it down their throats. Niners o-line is dominating

tucker rocky 01-12-2013 10:14 PM

SF might want to save some of this for next week.

Abe Sargent 01-12-2013 10:14 PM

Well, it was a good game Then the 49ers kept up teh pressure and the packers couldn't keep up. ;)

Lathum 01-12-2013 10:15 PM

Niners look amazing. Crazy we could have an all NFC west title game.

kingfc22 01-12-2013 10:15 PM

I hope Seattle wins now. Harbaugh/Carroll for the NFC would be priceless.

Jas_lov 01-12-2013 10:19 PM

It probably wouldn't have mattered but why did McCarthy insta punt on 4th and 4 from midfield? There were only 9 minutes left in the game and his defense hasn't made a stop all night. The 9ers, with Kaepernick playing like he is, should be able to make it past whichever team wins tomorrow.

Desnudo 01-12-2013 10:23 PM

Carroll in the SB would be priceless

But he hasn't. I agree that he hasn't raised his level of play during the postseason, but numbers of 453 / 718 63.1% 5389 29 19 88.4 are not choking numbers. Given his career qb rating of 96%, it is about what you would expect given the average playoff team is better than the average regular season team. In fact, his QB playoff rating is better than Brady's coming into this season.

Seriously, Danny? Quit bringing facts into a Peyton Manning discussion. Brady would have intercepted the three long TD passes Flacco threw today. He doesn't mess around in the playoffs. Hell, Tebow would have gotten one of those.

kingfc22 01-12-2013 10:29 PM

Two hand shove by Nelson = defensive PI. Ridiculous.

stevew 01-12-2013 10:30 PM

I have a feeling the announcer hyperbole would make a HarBowl unwatchable

It doesn;t matter who is in the SB, a the end of two weeks of collectively spooging all over the teams, I'm always ready for both to lose and go home crying.......;)

tucker rocky 01-12-2013 10:40 PM

49er fans, which team would you want to face next?

RedKingGold 01-12-2013 10:41 PM

Seattle. Would rather be the home team.
