There are a couple things you could try. Using the key resender if you haven't yet. The other thing you could use the "Log in / Sign Up" button in the upper right corner. Either log in if you've previously created an account or create a new one with the same email address you used to buy the bundle. I think once you log in or sign up for an account there should be a page to add any bundles you've purchase with that email address to your account and you'll be able to access the Steam keys for the bundle from there.

Spec Ops is $5 on steam today. Interesting story with average FPS gameplay. I'd say it's a damn good game for $5, though.

Thanks for the link. I've been waiting for this to hit the $5 bin.

I just ran across this interesting 2-player indie strategy game - Blood, Grain and Steel. I have no affiliation with the creator or anyone else at the website. I downloaded the Demo last night and have gone through the Tutorials. Full game only $15. A couple early reviews liken it to a combo of chess and other strategic board games. Looks like it was just released.

Wow, great game. Great price.

DaddyTorgo 12-01-2012 02:24 PM

For $4 I guess there's not really a downside eh? Good mods for that game??

The Humble THQ Bundle (pay what you want and help charity)

A pretty good sign THQ will do just about anything for cash right now, and a great deal even if it's for just one of these games.

Pay what you want for:
Darksiders
Metro 2033
Red Faction: Armageddon
Company of Heroes + Opposing Fronts + Tales of Valor
Beat the Average (Currently $5.55) and also get:
Saints Row 3

All unlock on Steam.

I went looking to see if I had Company of Heroes installed on my PC. I didn't. I found the disk but got reminded I needed a key for it. I was later writing a friend about the game when I mentioned it and then it led me to this. $6 later...

I only used some UI mods when I played, though I think there was a sizable restored content mod that came out recently.

I've repurchased games in the past if they were on sale really cheap for the convenience of having them pin Steam.

Where are the download links for the Humble Bundle? I got links to the soundtracks but that is it. I don't see anyway on Steam to get the downloads without paying.

I figured it out.

Haven't bought this one, but I'm pretty sure you only get Steam keys for the games.

Yep, that's it for this one. I am glad that they allow you to have profiles now. It's crazy to see all my purchases in one place.

Matthean 12-01-2012 11:06 PM

Never had to redeem keys in Steam though. I got it straightened out though.

I could answer, but I'd be biased :p

Groundhog 12-05-2012 08:45 PM

I've got Far Cry 3. Never played the other ones. It's pretty good so far, great introduction. Not far enough into it yet to have a good grasp on it. I'd rate it below Sleeping Dogs at this point, as a similar game in the genre.

oykib 12-05-2012 10:37 PM

I picked up FTL for $6 at Good Old Games today. It also came with the soundtrack. That's a $14 value (from the regular Steam price).

I haven't gotten very far into it yet either but I have liked the opening couple of hours so far. The PC version seems very well done as well.

No, just did some of the PC coding (UI layout for Eyefinity / Surround configurations for the most part, some other minor bits).

Well, how are the UI layouts for Eyefinity / Surround configurations? Pretty damned awesome or what?

Me too, since it's on sale for $6 on Steam right now. I think I may wait until the Christmas sale though.

RainRaven 12-06-2012 08:48 PM

Six dollars for FTL is a steal, I would highly reccomend it at twenty bucks let alone Six.

Groundhog 12-06-2012 08:57 PM

Yeah I haven't fired it up in a few weeks, but I know that FTL is a title I will come back to.

wahoomac 12-06-2012 09:15 PM

You can also buy FTL from the developer for $6 (DRM free) and also get Steam keys for backup. That's what I did yesterday. It really is a very awesome game. Somewhat difficult due to randomness, but a lot of fun.

They added Titian Quest for those few people who don't have it yet but are interested.

tyketime 12-09-2012 11:46 AM

I bought The Walking Dead episode 1 on iPad, but am not digging the interface, so considering buying the series for PC instead. Amazon currently has it on sale for $24.99 (plus additional $5 credit for a game in January). I know Steam sales will be coming in a couple weeks. I wonder if price will drop any lower (especially in light of VGA Game of the Year award)?

JPhillips 12-09-2012 11:48 AM

I got the whole series for much less than that. You should wait until the Christmas sale.

Yeah, I thought I remembered a 50% sale - so I hope to pick it up for $15 or so

JPhillips 12-09-2012 01:06 PM

I can't remember if it was 14.99 or 9.99 when I got it.

It's pretty fun. I don't have much time to play right now. But there'll be a dead period for games until March. Now's the best time to build a backlog.

BTW, Halo 4 is $40 at Amazon right now. You also get a a $10 Amazon Instant Video credit. If you also do their Facebook promotion, you get another $5 off.

I bought it for $14.99 and I wouldn't be surprised if it went cheaper for the Christmas sale.

No problem. I heard Costco had it for $38 until around Christmas too if you happen to go by there.

Gamefly will have The Walkign Dead on PC for $12.99 later today(Monday). They also have a 20% code: 1GFT1112

but not sure if the code will still work or not.

I highly recommend The Walking Dead. It's more of an interactive story than a game, but it's extremely well done.

Mizzou B-ball fan 12-10-2012 08:52 AM

Also, a few of the episodes are free to Playstation Plus members. You can pick up a lot of games for pretty cheap with that option in addition to the first couple of episodes of Walking Dead.

Sweet! The End of the World Sale and the 20% Discount code worked which made my final cost $9.99. Thank you very much! :)

Actually, I also just saw that the developers are also selling it for $4.99 and they offer a steam key which GoG does not.

Lots of Amazon.com downloadable game deals, mostly with Steam activation keys. At least one pack includes all of Civ V for $20:

Hmm. Missed out on the Civ V G&K sale recently. Still looking to get that, though we have V and the disks for all of IV. Weighing if it is worth it to have them via Steam + Stronghold vs waiting for another sale.
