Now that was a more that busy Day One. Is the busy Day One a recent phonomenon since i left or is this just an abberration?

RendeR 10-15-2007 09:02 PM

I was sending it before the deadline I swear, the thing took forever to go through.

Other than being a minute past deadline...why? I was waiting to see if my vote mattered, it didn't? Whats bad about that?

Very true, but I don't trust the majority of my ex's and I'm sure not trusting DT...besides, he's in love...he won't care if he gets lynched early, more time to spend with his woman ;)

LOL

The walls have been finished! And there was much rejoicing.

That is until people examined the house of the money lender they stoned and discovered that he had the capacity for great insight. Unfortunately, none of it would be shared with this village...

You are the Moneylender.
People are always saying “Oh you must be so rich”. If only they knew what work went into accumulating your wealth. Of course that’s better than being called “Damn Jew”. Fortunately you are very good at what you do and have become a shrewd judge of character.

Each night you may submit one player’s name to the GM and learn their role (you are the seer).

Left to do on the Cathedral:

Walls - Finished
Roof - 4 units of work
Windows - 2 unit of work
Artwork - 7 units of work
Carpentry - 8 units of work

Wait, you were married to him????

The plot thickens.

Schmidty 10-15-2007 09:08 PM

Guess you guys should have listened to him.

saldana 10-15-2007 09:08 PM

shit.....note to torgo...it would be nice if you read the rules next time you are the most important player in the game so that you dont make a very wolfish play on the first freaking day.

I see your point but IMO it could do more damage.

Odds are he is a goner durining the night phase, so we switch off him onto a villager and end up with 2 dead villagers.

I would rather run the risk of a false reveal with the oppritunity to kill a wolf.

go ahead and vote for me...but first find a single shred of anything that would have led me to know that DT was the seer..it wasnt like PurdueBrad last game where he took out a billboard for me and hoops (who were both wolves at the time)...i wasnt the only one that thought his play was very suspicious.

Friar, THIS is why we leave the inquisitions to men of power... not place them in the hands of uninformed commoners.

Say you don't trust me, Say you don't know
Toss me some more stones, up on these walls.
Don't tell us you need us
Cause we're just simple fools..

Looking for the deamons, hiding in our schools!

RendeR 10-16-2007 12:06 AM

'Torgo, you know you are a dead man
He could read the thoughts in our heads, oh yes!
I said 'Torgo, you're nothing but a dead man
He could read the thoughts in our heads, oh yes!
I said "OOOOHH NO!, - What a bad, a bad, a crime it is!"
You know, - Well you know they were, comin' for you..
Now there's not a lot I can do

Sorry DT, its the best Eulogy I could whip up tonight ;)

Chief Rum 10-16-2007 01:27 AM

Ugh...you guys should have lynched me. I have no powers or special abilities I am aware of, and on top of that, by making a random Day One vote I didn't realize I didn't need to make, I set in motion what would come to pass today.

I have the feeling for what little time I have left in this game, I may have to spend much time deep in prayer and fasting to atone for my sins.

I made a mistake. I should have seen the possibility of the non-vote. I put in an early vote because I would be gone all day today, so didn;t really have a choice. But if I had realized what I could do with my votes, I would have put it on two work actions. Anxiety was merely a random Day One vote. He himself said why--it was a "welcome back" vote.

Barkeep49 10-16-2007 06:38 AM

Poor Bishop. He claims to be protecting his flock of villagers, so the demons decide to, as if to prove a mockery of this, kill his assistant. Wait. I guess it should be poor ntndeacon. Afterall, he's the one who died.

At least the church was undamaged. In fact it seems as though the windows are a little closer to stained glass perfection this morning.

Quote:

You are the Bishop’s Assistant:
When your parents bought your way into the church you were excited; this was much better than having to toil away under your brothers’ rule as he became Duke. Then, after seminary, you were sent to be the Bishop’s Assistant. Even better. Things were looking up. But then you found out what you did: write, write, write. Sometimes you’re lucky and you get to read what others have written. It’s boring work, but it’s yours.

The good news is that with the Bishop writing so many letters it’s easy to smuggle in some of your own. Each day you may send a written message to another player and they may respond. You are considered a Villager.

Left to do:

Walls - Finished
Roof - 4 units of work
Windows - 1 unit of work
Artwork - 7 units of work
Carpentry - 8 units of work

Passacaglia 10-16-2007 06:46 AM

BK -- Is it really the case that NO work was done on the artwork and carpentry?

Passacaglia 10-16-2007 06:47 AM

Or did you edit the post on the first page that says how much is left?

From post 49:

Walls - 8 units of work
Roof - 4 units of work
Windows - 2 unit of work
Artwork - 12 units of work
Carpentry - 12 units of work

Chief Rum 10-16-2007 07:12 AM

I won't be around at all today unless I get lucky between jobs. So I'll put one work action in now.

WORK ON ARTWORK

If I can get on later, I will put in another work action or a vote.

Lathum 10-16-2007 08:12 AM

Vote Render

just want to get that out there early for tiebreaker purposes

Lathum 10-16-2007 08:20 AM

also,

Oliegirl, I command thee to cast a vote on whomever you see as evil

Lathum 10-16-2007 08:22 AM

dola, that is my ability.

Basicly as the night I can command the Page to either vote or work on the cathedral. I am trying to find how my ability does any good but I got nothing.
