Kia makes a strong move for the lead!

JonInMiddleGA 02-05-2012 08:22 PM

Optima ad might be the best car spot I've seen tonight

Motley Crue doing Kia commercials.

MIJB#19 02-05-2012 08:22 PM

Another safety here to make it 17 all would be interesting.

EagleFan 02-05-2012 08:23 PM

"In real time is how they are going to judge it"

Ummm, in real time you were saying it was a penalty too.

JonInMiddleGA 02-05-2012 08:24 PM

That play feels like a dagger, or at least felt like it sharpened the dagger.

stevew 02-05-2012 08:25 PM

Whipped cream vodka pushes a white russian over the edge btw.

spleen1015 02-05-2012 08:25 PM

Give Eli the ball with a chance to win with 2 minutes. I have faith!

Agreed, that was like a 2-3 minute extension of this drive. Or at least feels like it. I'd be shocked if the Giants get the ball back with more than 2 minutes left at this point.

kingfc22 02-05-2012 08:29 PM

Huge play!!!

Lathum 02-05-2012 08:29 PM

Game. Had to stop them there.

Not game yet. They can still stop them here and be in good shape.

hoopsguy 02-05-2012 08:30 PM

Huge miss there - that would have been a backbreaker.

Lathum 02-05-2012 08:31 PM

Ok. Pats open the door. Have to get a stop herre

EagleFan 02-05-2012 08:31 PM

Like that.

kingfc22 02-05-2012 08:31 PM

And the plot thickens

spleen1015 02-05-2012 08:32 PM

Here we go boys!

bhlloy 02-05-2012 08:32 PM

2 poor throws with the game on the line

JonInMiddleGA 02-05-2012 08:32 PM

I'm reminded of several conversations I seen/heard this week about the importance of the two kickers

EagleFan 02-05-2012 08:33 PM

Whoa, how did he get his feet down?

spleen1015 02-05-2012 08:33 PM

Got his feet down, but did he have control?

stevew 02-05-2012 08:33 PM

he has to challenge that.

spleen1015 02-05-2012 08:34 PM

That's a catch

Suburban Rhythm 02-05-2012 08:34 PM

What i don't understand with the none PI call...

We know they are promoting offense. They let holding slide most plays, can't touch the QB, etc. So why is it on these plays that they can lean towards the offense again...goes uncalled?

EagleFan 02-05-2012 08:34 PM

What a catch. That's good.

Lathum 02-05-2012 08:34 PM

Easily a catch

sabotai 02-05-2012 08:35 PM

No fucking around now. Score a TD and keep them out of the endzone!

EagleFan 02-05-2012 08:35 PM

Impressed that the ref called that a catch live. Good call ref.

hoopsguy 02-05-2012 08:35 PM

Collinsworth not mentioning Manningham hugging sideline again - there was so little space for Manning to put that ball. Amazing throw, even though the announcers are talking more about the catch.

stevew 02-05-2012 08:37 PM

Not even thinking about a running play?

EagleFan 02-05-2012 08:37 PM

Kudos to Manning for sending a shout out to McNabb with a couple low throws this game. :)

sabotai 02-05-2012 08:38 PM

If the Giants only get a FG, this will end just like a few of the other Pats SB wins....it's like a Hollywood script they keep going to time and time again.

JonInMiddleGA 02-05-2012 08:38 PM

I guess Brady will have to try it without any timeouts left

Jas_lov 02-05-2012 08:39 PM

There won't be any time left for Brady. Let em score a TD right here on 1st down.

Yeah, but they can't win by 3 points this time.

kingfc22 02-05-2012 08:39 PM

Giants are one first down away from securing the last chance to score in this game.

Pretty sure he expected manningham to break off the route earlier

sabotai 02-05-2012 08:40 PM

I don't trust the Giants D to keep the Pats out of FG range for even 30 seconds and no time outs...

hoopsguy 02-05-2012 08:40 PM

I'm just blown away by how accurate Manning is compared to a couple of seasons ago. Would be interested in hearing from Giants fans if they see a marked improvement in this as well .... something that I hear every year around the draft that is nigh impossible to teach.

molson 02-05-2012 08:41 PM

Pats should have let them walk in for a TD with 3+ minutes left, then they'd have plenty of time for a game-winning TD...WHY DOES THAT NEVER HAPPEN EXCEPT IN VIDEO GAMES

True on that one but there was one earlier in the game where he threw it at the receivers feet in the flat. I was having flashbacks. :)

JonInMiddleGA 02-05-2012 08:42 PM

Wow, talk about a big OOB

Jas_lov 02-05-2012 08:42 PM

Now there will be 20 seconds left for Brady at best. Should have just let them score the TD at 2:00 and taken your chances with 2 TOs and the ball in the hands of Brady to get the game winning TD. Bellichick lost it.

More like he's just making much better decisions. Earlier he was really trying to force throws into small windows, and he's taking sacks and throwing the ball away instead of panicing and throwing it up for grabs.

kingfc22 02-05-2012 08:42 PM

So Pats will have roughly 25 seconds or so...

rowech 02-05-2012 08:43 PM

Let's not be putting up these points right away. We saw it in Ravens game.

Yeah, but it got the 1st down so no harm there. 1st down and OOB is better then not getting the first and staying in bounds.

Not even being a Giants fan this is very noticable. He took his game to an entire new level beginning with the 09 season.

Jas_lov 02-05-2012 08:44 PM

And finally he lets them score. Bradshaw screwed up.

kingfc22 02-05-2012 08:44 PM

LOL at Bradshaw.
