Well I have no strong feelings one way or the other towards Ntndeacon or Poli, and neither voted for Schmidty like I mentioned earlier, so I will still vote for one of the Schmidty voters. I however will change my vote to protect my teammate Autumn if need be.
vote J23 |
As of 351:
ntndeacon 3 - Autumn (272), MartinD (314), Danny (319) Poli 2 - Lathum (278), KWhit (296) CrimsonFox 1 - Darth Vilus (286) Autumn 2 - Passacaglia (287), ntndeacon (337) Darth Vilus 1 - CrimsonFox (305) J23 1 - Thomkal (351) |
I would rather people voted elsewhere, but I can understand looking at me. I've been having to vote early this game, so that puts me in the spotlight. And my "vote quiet" strategy has me targeting the same team it seems.
However, I still support my plan. When we get bogged down into the typical day one targets we end up voting out some of our more vocal players early, and by end game we have a bunch of UTR people with little post history, and little content in analysis. My only defense at this point in the game is that I at least try to add a lot of content as I can while the game develops. I'm sorry we hit the bodyguard last night, but frankly I'd still rather vote out Schmidty who is usually busy than someone like Danny or Lathum who we can depend on adding a lot of analysis as the game develops. So if we're voting class president here, I say vote NTN! But if I get voted out, at least I've tried to rouse NTN and Telle a little early in the game, and that can only help us. |
I'll tie things back up and try to force some movement.
vote Autumn |
I find Thomkal bringing someone totally new into the mix interesting.
|
As of 354:
ntndeacon 3 - Autumn (272), MartinD (314), Danny (319) Poli 2 - Lathum (278), KWhit (296) CrimsonFox 1 - Darth Vilus (286) Autumn 3 - Passacaglia (287), ntndeacon (337), PurdueBrad (354) Darth Vilus 1 - CrimsonFox (305) J23 1 - Thomkal (351) |
Well as we don't know much about wolves yet, I'm going to go ahead and try to protect my teammate.
vote Autumn |
As of 357:
ntndeacon 3 - Autumn (272), MartinD (314), Danny (319) Poli 2 - Lathum (278), KWhit (296) CrimsonFox 1 - Darth Vilus (286) Autumn 4 - Passacaglia (287), ntndeacon (337), PurdueBrad (354), Telle (357) Darth Vilus 1 - CrimsonFox (305) J23 1 - Thomkal (351) |
PB, I don't know if you were caught up, but Poli had already stated he was going to probably vote me, so making your move to "tie it up" only means you're pushing me well ahead of NTN. An odd move. if you had wanted to tie it up, voting Poli or NTN would be the way.
I'm not going to dig into conspiracy theories though. It's probably just villager moves, and you guys will know better later in the game what it might have been. I've got no big reveal, so I'm not the worst choice. |
I tend to distrust the Americans at this point simply because they seem toi be scattering trying to vote out other teams and already winning. Look for danny or Pass, probably Danny to use a ton of points for the win today.
|
Yet to vote: J23, Poli
|
vote autumn
|
Sorry was bringing one of my players back from baseball practice
|
I guess I would suggest looking at NTN tomorrow guys. The seeming need to bury the vote here suggests maybe some worry about a last minute switch to NTN, which I'm not sure why a villager would worry about that.
|
Autumn, one good turn deserves another...hope this isn't a repeat of last game.
|
As of 362:
ntndeacon 3 - Autumn (272), MartinD (314), Danny (319) Poli 2 - Lathum (278), KWhit (296) CrimsonFox 1 - Darth Vilus (286) Autumn 5 - Passacaglia (287), ntndeacon (337), PurdueBrad (354), Telle (357), Poli (362) Darth Vilus 1 - CrimsonFox (305) J23 1 - Thomkal (351) |
well as promised.
unvote j23 vote ntndeacon |
Gonna be a close one

The team aspect sure has changed the dynamic of this game.

So you don't trust us because we are trying to win? |

yes it has, I like it and it really influenced my final vote there. |
Oh well. Have a fun game guys. Go Germany!
|
perhaps trust is the wrong word. Maybe "We need to watch them and take one of them out to keep things from being a runaway" is a better way of putting it. And the aggression of trying to win by eliminating other teams simultaneously benefits you as a wolf.
|
I'll say this: team Russia voted like it was 1980.

Deadline has passed, sorr daughter needed me for a minute,

Event results on the way.

Wow, team USA is definitely leaving it all on the ice.
|
Boo the USA. Come on, who rigs an Olympic game?
|
KWhit of Team Canada is up with just 4 skater s remaining. He has trouble and finishes with a score of 239.98. Only good enough for 7th.
Lathum (USA) 257.67 Danny (USA) 247.23 Thomkal (Germany) 245.60 Autumn (Germany) 243.50 MartinD (Germany) 241.75 Passacaglia (USA) 240.36 KWhit (Canada) 239.98 J23 (Sweden) 238.54 Poli (Russia) 235.65 CrimsonFox (Canada) 233.50 Darth Vilus (Sweden) 231.48 |
ntndeacon of Russia is up next and struggles badly and only manages a score of 237.56 which puts him in 9th. With just 2 skaters remaining Lathum has clinched a medal.
Lathum (USA) 257.67 Danny (USA) 247.23 Thomkal (Germany) 245.60 Autumn (Germany) 243.50 MartinD (Germany) 241.75 Passacaglia (USA) 240.36 KWhit (Canada) 239.98 J23 (Sweden) 238.54 ntndeacon (Russia) 237.56 Poli (Russia) 235.65 CrimsonFox (Canada) 233.50 Darth Vilus (Sweden) 231.48 |
He's got an impressive ten point lead, sheesh.
|
So either the judge or juicer is on the us team. I know where I'm
voting tomorrow |
Ach! I think Team Germany is going to come up short again. :(
|
Telle of Russia take the ice next. One of the favorites of the event and she looks focused. She skates almost flawlessly and receives a standing ovation. After collecting her roses she waits for her score.
256.36 good enough for the silver medal position and she has clinched a medal. Lathum (USA) 257.67 Telle (Russia) 256.36 Danny (USA) 247.23 Thomkal (Germany) 245.60 Autumn (Germany) 243.50 MartinD (Germany) 241.75 Passacaglia (USA) 240.36 KWhit (Canada) 239.98 J23 (Sweden) 238.54 ntndeacon (Russia) 237.56 Poli (Russia) 235.65 CrimsonFox (Canada) 233.50 Darth Vilus (Sweden) 231.48 |
In unrelated news, several ICBMs have recently been activated.
|
The final skater is PurdueBrad of Sweden. He begins his routine and the crowd comes to life. He has everything that the crowd is looking for as he glides arcoss the ice, almost seeming to float above the surface. As he ends his routine several mmbers of the audience are in tears from bing moved so deeply by his performance. I believe we have just seen the gold medal performance.
He waits for his score, waiting for the inevitable... 165.90, 14th place... What? How? The crowd is shocked. He has finished in last place. Final Standings: Lathum (USA) 257.67 Telle (Russia) 256.36 Danny (USA) 247.23 Thomkal (Germany) 245.60 Autumn (Germany) 243.50 MartinD (Germany) 241.75 Passacaglia (USA) 240.36 KWhit (Canada) 239.98 J23 (Sweden) 238.54 ntndeacon (Russia) 237.56 Poli (Russia) 235.65 CrimsonFox (Canada) 233.50 Darth Vilus (Sweden) 231.48 PurdueBrad (Sweden) 165.90 |

USA! USA! USA!

Sorry I dropped the ball and didn't get a vote in today. I meant to get one in before I left work, but it didn't happen. Just got home from running errands before my trip, and obviously ran late.
Reminder that I'll be playing from my phone for the next couple days. |
Stars and stripes baby!
|
Nice rig somebody. My points and skill on ice should have resulted in a much better showing. The only people that knew I was going for the win would be from my team, J23 or Darth. The rigging of Lathum's win makes me think that there is a wolf on team USA as well. My vote will go for one of four people tomorrow.

I'm the judge. The juicer can only fix events involving strength and the description of this event said nothing about strength. |
Lathum, I greatly, greatly hope the above isn't true.
