In three years? I don't bet, and I will take that bet.

It's the same draft class as Jeremiah Smith.

Still feel safe. This kid is doing this at 17. He is still growing, and learning.

GrantDawg 10-05-2024 06:05 PM

OMG! Vandy scored another touchdown. I'm telling you, someone need to fix these sliders.

NVM. Called back. Problem with watching multiple games.

Edward64 10-05-2024 06:06 PM

Com’on Commodores … do you believe in Miracles!!

GrantDawg 10-05-2024 06:09 PM

Having to settle for a FG is big. That really guts their chances.

GrantDawg 10-05-2024 06:12 PM

Milroe coughs it up. Oh boy,

Edward64 10-05-2024 06:17 PM

Commodores threatening again.

Regardless of any comeback, I’m pretty sure there’ll be a new #1

When I saw this game on the schedule, I couldn't help but think it was a perfect game for a let down. The emotional win last week, and what should be an easy game the next. It is easy for a team to get upset. Then I thought "not Vandy. They lost to Georgia State!" But, this Vandy team did beat VT, and this Bama team is not coached by Saban.

HerRealName 10-05-2024 06:21 PM

Pavia is so good at running this offense. This many post snap reads is a nightmare when you're facing a QB making this many great decisions and executing.

Edward64 10-05-2024 06:23 PM

Oh yeah!

Com’on Vandy, you can do it

dubb93 10-05-2024 06:25 PM

Just like KY-GA the spin will be how tough the SEC is. GA and Alabama will both be ranked over undefeated Big Ten teams.

Who cares? They play it on the field now, not in the AP newsroom.

My guess is he has mixed emotions right now. A WTF and a knowing nod … yup it was all him

GrantDawg 10-05-2024 06:33 PM

Vandy has every opportunity to win it, and I still feel like Bama is going to pull this off.

Edward64 10-05-2024 06:33 PM

That was quick.

Com’on Vandy, 2-3 first downs and y’all get to party all night long

GrantDawg 10-05-2024 06:37 PM

First down, but also smart play running back into the field instead of going out of bounds.

larrymcg421 10-05-2024 06:37 PM

What a great fucking play call. Too many teams predictably do run, run, pass, punt in that situation.

GrantDawg 10-05-2024 06:41 PM

Georgia's defense isn't what it has been, but Bama's defense is far from what it has been.

It matters the same way it’s always mattered. The more teams you get in the better chance you have of having one of them winning it. Having the top ranked teams at every loss threshold is going to get you more teams in and increase your odds of claiming a championship.

GrantDawg 10-05-2024 06:44 PM

This is crazy.

Georgia State beat Vandy, so that means Georgia State is better than Bama, right?

cuervo72 10-05-2024 06:48 PM

Woowwwwwww.

GrantDawg 10-05-2024 06:59 PM

Diego Pavia sounds like a striker for the Argentina national team.

Thomkal 10-05-2024 07:13 PM

Thanks Vanderbilt

Edward64 10-05-2024 07:27 PM

Hogs are feisty at home. Up 3-0 over Vols in 2Q after 2 series each.

HerRealName 10-05-2024 07:35 PM

How does Jack Tuttle have any eligibility. He's like 30 years old by now.

larrymcg421 10-05-2024 07:41 PM

Miami TE Cam McCormick is in his 9th year of eligibility. He first played for Oregon in 2016.

Alan Bowman started against WVU in 2018 playing for Texas Tech. He started against them today for Oklahoma State.

He's 25, but in his seventh year as a college football player. Red-shirt, COVID year, special NCAA exemption for his injury early last season.

That last pass was only his 200th attempt as a college quarterback.

It's going to be a tough season for Michigan. I don't get the ranking at all - though I suppose you have to do it for the defending champion. The only time they looked that good was the first half against USC.

And they could lose four more guys in the first round next year.

larrymcg421 10-05-2024 08:03 PM

Arkansas outgaining Tenn 223-29, held the ball for 20 minutes-7 minutes, and only lead 3-0.

Edward64 10-05-2024 08:13 PM

Hogs defense is fantastic. Offense has left a ton of points on the field. Still only 3-0 at the half.

But hey, I’m happy that we’ve stayed in the game for the first half. Assuming we don’t completely fall apart, it’ll be a confidence builder.

Texas

Tennessee
Georgia

Atocep 10-05-2024 08:46 PM

Ashton Jeanty probably breaks Barry Sanders' single season rushing record if he got more carries. The guy is averaging nearly 11 yards per carry.

Edward64 10-05-2024 08:50 PM

Uh oh, Vols are getting back their groove

I predict pain for the me and the Hogs

He's incredible. Sat the 2nd half today and the game against Portland State.

Kodos 10-05-2024 09:37 PM

Minnesota looking to beat USC. Go Gophers! Where’s Pumpy?!

sovereignstar v2 10-05-2024 09:48 PM

Pumpy? I thought he was a Tulane fan lol

sovereignstar v2 10-05-2024 09:58 PM

Bring on UCLA!**

**The LA stands for Los Angeles

Thomkal 10-05-2024 10:01 PM

Coastal Carolina was back in it tonight, at home against Old Dominion. They took the lead for the first time at the half with a fumble recovery for a TD, then led the rest of the way, winning 45-37. QB Vasko threw for 367 yards and 3 TDs

cuervo72 10-05-2024 10:05 PM

Wasn’t sure if the Arky band was playing Immigrant Song or the theme to Get Smart.

Wooooooooo. Pig. Sooie!!!

cuervo72 10-05-2024 10:15 PM

My wife tonight: “why do they rank teams when they haven’t played hardly any games and nobody knows who’s good?”

GrantDawg 10-05-2024 10:17 PM

Man, that was definitely a purposeful miss by that Tennessee player. What disrespect.
