Wowsers.

Honolulu_Blue 04-29-2021 03:33 PM

I would love to see Aaron Rodgers out of the NFC Central! Trade him! Trade. Him. NOW!

Jordan Love, Andy Dalton and Kirk Cousins I can handle.

Izulde 04-29-2021 03:35 PM

Is there a place to watch the draft?

rjolley 04-29-2021 03:48 PM

I would love to see Rodgers out of GB...think they'll take #20, Dalton, and Foles?

49ers, Raiders and Broncos are apparently the teams he would consider.

NobodyHere 04-29-2021 04:07 PM

Maybe Rodgers thinks he really nailed that Jeopardy stint...

Vince, Pt. II 04-29-2021 04:11 PM

I mean, Rodgers does not have a no-trade clause, so it doesn't matter who he would consider? As mentioned, Denver has a to ten pick, future firsts, and isn't in the NFC, so they have to be the favorites.

JPhillips 04-29-2021 04:13 PM

But I don't think you want to pay what it will cost if he's not happy to come to your team.

AlexB 04-29-2021 05:07 PM

I picked up Jordan Love on waivers the last week of my keeper league FF on the offchance that Rodgers wasn’t in GB next year... stand up for yourself Aaron!

GrantDawg 04-29-2021 06:18 PM

I personally would love to see Rodgers on the Raiders.

So Rodgers is great but how many years does he really have left?3 maybe ? 4? It sounds like the asking price would be like 3 first rounded and some other picks. That is steep unless a team is sure they are just a an a way. Denver fans here think they are but man I am not sure about that. Plus not sure how much Rodgers should be trusted as far as his motivation to play hard with his life outside football options.

GrantDawg 04-29-2021 06:55 PM

Looks like Denver is going to win the Rodgers sweepstakes.

Is there going to be any actual DRAFTING tonight or just a bunch of concert crap?

Someone needs a beer.

cuervo72 04-29-2021 07:16 PM

Actually not a bad idea for later on!

(stomach too full from dinner atm)

Danny 04-29-2021 07:16 PM

I wonder if they can smell Goodell butt sweat.

cuervo72 04-29-2021 07:23 PM

Suzy Kolber looks like Miss Frizzle.

If you get 3 legitimate shots at the Super Bowl, three late round first rounders plus fluff is absolutely nothing. Also Denver with Manning is basically the blueprint for doing this. It's an absolute no brainer.

sovereignstar v2 04-29-2021 07:34 PM

RIP Zach

bhlloy 04-29-2021 07:36 PM

I can't help think watching Wilson that Sam Darnold made most of those crazy throws in college too

At least he gets to leave Cleveland

GrantDawg 04-29-2021 07:43 PM

49ers take Lance. This is going to get interesting.

I don't understand why coaches continue to draft guys that are almost certain to get them fired.

Danny 04-29-2021 07:44 PM

I like Lance quite a bit. Better pick than Mac Jones or Fields for me

sovereignstar v2 04-29-2021 07:49 PM

Really tempted to ditch the Vikings and just start rooting for the Niners now lol

Ksyrup 04-29-2021 07:50 PM

Kyle Pitts apparently expected to be drafted by GB.

GrantDawg 04-29-2021 07:50 PM

I have no problem with taking Pitts.

I'm a raiders fan but wife's family are 49ers fans. I could definitely root for Lance. I hope he's successful, seems like a great kid with the ability and smarts to succeed. Also in a great situation with a team that can run and play defense

Ditto. Matt Ryan is probably a happy guy.

JonInMiddleGA 04-29-2021 07:55 PM

On the record: Lance will have a less productive NFL career than celebrated 3rd pick busts Heath Shuler and Akili Smith

Doubt it. You couldn't draw up a better fit for him than San Francisco.

bhlloy 04-29-2021 07:59 PM

If you think a guy is a no doubt hall of famer and possibly the best player at his position in history, I think you have to take him. The distinction between TE and WR is pretty much moot at this point anyway, and nobody would bat an eyelid at taking a WR at #4.

Swaggs 04-29-2021 08:02 PM

I feel like Jones is going to end up being an Andy Dalton, where he will end up being an occasionally good but mostly adequate starter for several years. Sort of high floor, not so high ceiling. I get seeing the upside, but I think between Wilson and Lance, at least one busts.

That's why we make predictions.

I'm not sure he would have been an all-state QB in Georgia HS football, in any classification.

A historically bad pick IMO.

GrantDawg 04-29-2021 08:03 PM

There is still a good chance, maybe even likely chance, that Julio gets traded after June 1st. Even without Julio, the Falcons have a very dangerous group of receivers. Ryan has his Tony Gonzalez again.

They need to start playing Reunited in the background.

Agreed. I think success is often as much a product of fit, coaching, surrounding talent, etc. as it is individual talent. Lance is setup to succeed based on those factors.

JonInMiddleGA 04-29-2021 08:04 PM

lol, jaylen waddle looked soooooo excited at his destination

.yep, by far the best situation he could have ended up in. I'd take him in SF over Wislon in NY if betting on success

JPhillips 04-29-2021 08:05 PM

No problem with Cincy taking Chase. They ended up in a position where they could take either the best WR or LT and they need both.

I’ve been reading the Athletic a lot and they do some good pieces where they get anonymous reports from scouts and coaches. They pretty much universally seem to think Pitts is a sure thing with all the physical gifts, skills, and intangibles.

Ksyrup 04-29-2021 08:07 PM

Why would you trade back up to 6 for a WR? I don't really get that.

Swaggs 04-29-2021 08:09 PM

I wonder if there has been a modern draft without a defensive player taken in the top six before. Seems possible that we could get to 10.

Atocep 04-29-2021 08:10 PM

Not a huge Waddle fan. I'm not sure he's a top 3 receiver in this class.

NobodyHere 04-29-2021 08:12 PM

Dear Penei Sewell

We're sorry about this.

Signed,
