Well pretty stupid ban reason but if it's in the rules i can't blame Skydog, in the other hand, if i were the mod and a veteran guy who never did any harm to the community skipped a stupid rule, probably i would warn him before banning for 2 weeks (I don't know if skydog did it).

Actually, we've been down this road many times. This site has had issues where it is getting filtered at workplaces due to inappropriate links - and some have gotten in serious hot water over those links (not me). I'm not sure of the whole story, but I think someone came close to getting fired. So SkyDog instituted a zero-tolerance policy. It has nothing to do with "nude women=pornography=devil" shit. It has everything to do with "bad links/inappropriate pictures = spam filters = getting fired at work" shit.

As for the person who reported him, I'm thinking it was probably someone who wanted to see if the rules would be applied evenly. Or it was just someone alerting SkyDog to inappropriate content to get it the hell out of there and didn't think about Jeeb getting suspended. Or some shit like that. Hell, I've been in the box myself.

As for not looking at the website during work, we all can't be out on summer vacation. Some of us work for a living, so shut your pie-hole.

In fact, I *specifically* mentioned bikini photos. I really have no idea how the information below (copied and pasted from the thread above) could be made any more clear...

2. If you think a site has questionable content contained therein, use hxxp when posting a link.

3. Please be careful about posting pictures in a thread, even if they are pictures from a legit site like ESPN. Think of the FOFCer who is surfing sitting at the desk at his office.*

4. Please note that these are general guidelines. It just isn't feasible to attempt to write a set of rules that take into account every single possible linking scenario. The mods will make judgement calls on enforcement, and their decision is final.

*--And before you say, "Well, they shouldn't be surfing at work," consider that there are those who are allowed to surf the 'net during "down-times" at work, but if someone walks by and there's a picture of a woman in a bikini/underwear/skimpy clothes, they may get called into question.

The bottom line is this: it is a courtesy to other board members who may have different guidelines at work than you do. Here ya go:

You got a point there and i underestand the reasons of that rule. The nude women.... shit was not reffered to Skydog rules but some country politics... i agree i should have been more explicit.

Again i think that it's better to delete the content and privately warn the guy specialy if he is a good member that doesn't try to damage the board or usually doesn't ignore the rules. Everybody can have a mistake and i think it's better to warn than to ban anybody, of course if the guy is an asshat as Skydog well wrote on the rules, he desservers to be banned, but i doubt that was Jeebers case.

And I understand that the forum gets most of its traffic from people reading during work, but ya know what...we ought to be able to post whatever we want on here...and if you have a work where that's a problem, well maybe what Icy said is true...you shouldn't be surfing, you should be working. I mean really, it's hard for me to feel sorry for guys who get in trouble for surfing internet forums at work that have pictures of say even scantily clad women on them. Basically those people should know enough that they shouldn't be surfing forums at work, because odds are that is what is getting them in trouble more than the fact there are pictures of women in bathing suits. If you post an inline picture in a topic that links to a questionable site you will be given time in the box. Is that so hard to understand? If it comes from a questionable site then hxxp the picture, and dont put the img tags around it.

How will images get FOFC blocked on company networks if they come from work safe websites that filters don't have problems with? During the Olympics pictures in a volleyball thread were deleted even though they came from Yahoo. This particular rule was added precisely to protect the individual and any trouble/embarrassment somebody might face if a coworker just happened to catch him ogling them.
