Bucc, what advice you can give a novice photographer on how to take better pictures (besides the very obvious "keep taking pictures" advice).

What do you see as the turning point in the Civil War?

Seriously, I recall a really interesting post a few years ago from Bucc regarding interest in text sims stemming from tracing leagues--not from a statistical or league performance standpoint, but rather from following the leagues organizationally. Care to talk a little about what drew you in to text simming and what you look for from games?

Why did you choose the name, Buccaneer?

Have you had your mid-life crisis yet? If so, did you wind up with a trophy wife, a sports car, or a new version of your favorite text sim?

You find yourself stranded on a deserted island. Upon exploring the island you find a working computer that is only capable of playing an advanced copy of Sid Meier's Pirates! 3 and Emma Watson. Do you disassemble the computer in hopes of building a device that will help you and Emma get rescued, or do you live the rest of your life a happy man? :)

Why did you choose to reject King George I's offer of amnesty and continue with your pirate lifestyle?

This one's my favorite so far. I gotta remember this one. Usually when I meet someone old in the Army, I ask them, "Was it a lot harder when you first joined the Army?"
They usually reply, "Yeah."
"I mean, I would've guessed that since you guys had to stand in a straight line and pour the gunpowder down the muzzleloader."

I also ask them if it's hard adjusting to parking a HMMWV after having to take care of their horses for so long. :)

Were you pissed off at Mel Gibson's portrayal of William Wallace since you were in combat with him back in the day?

Do you remember why the Mayan civilization vanished since you had a summer home in their village? And why did you stop working on the Mayan calendar?

Since you were responsible for some of the hieroglyphics, was that just grafitti, simple doodles or is that some language you wanted to make up, like some sort of picture pig-latin?

ROFL!!! That is a great question. I can imagine Buccaneer in the crowd of people.

You've been in a couple very different careers if I recall correctly. Software testing, cartography and maybe more I don't remember. What jobs have you had, and what prompted the career move when you switched professions?

I'll go back to the Civil War well.

What do you think was the primary cause of the Civil War and where do you stand on the "Lost Cause" version of Southern history?

If you could do one thing to each person who gives you a hard time about your age, what would that be? :D

I so read this at first as "you are fighting a dragon during the middle ages". That seems far more like a HA question than that.
