FOF Take 2 with the Browns
If you followed my Panthers dynasty you’ll know what we won 5 Super Bowls, QB retired, and then I traded a few 1st up to the 1.1 spot to draft an as scouted 1.1 QB at 9.5, but a game save, auto crash, then I hit my save and grabbing the auto-draft rather than moving to the next pick but not autodrafting and save, I grabbed a stud RB my staff liked and saved in the 2nd round prior to drafting.
Let’s do this again, but this time let’s add a degree of difficulty since I got 5 Super Bowls from our 2nd stud QB Fiste after Plamondon busted after his first year by 2042. Who now? I want another team without winning a Super Bowl, with a bad QB situation, and likely to lose again. Obviously this disincludes stud CJ Stroud from the Texans, the Bills with their stud QB, My Jags with T. Lawrence, how about 46/46 Deshawn Watson from the Browns? Done! |

QB Watson busted to 41/41, RB Chubb to 52/52 , WR Cooper to 56/56, OC Gadlin to 19/50, rookie OG Zinter rose to 44/71. I have studly front seven with Garrett, I’m shocked that my DC likes Sam Kamara at DT with 39/43 over 69/69 Tomlinson, but I tried twice. Our two CBs are studs like Jaycee Downs and young like him. Bad S though, and Ots too, and WR, TE and skill positions. Our d should keep us in game, but with a dropping Chubb that may not be easy to run over foes. Ready? |

League Awards:
All-Pro 1st Team: DE Myles Garrett – age 29 All-Pro 2nd Team: OG Wyatt Teller – age 30 CB Martin Emerson – age 24 P Corey Bojorquez – age 28 Was Tomlinson robbed? Four All Pros is nice. Stats: Throwing that Ball: QB Watson – 378 of 590 for 3723, yuck, 24;13. QBR of 86.1. Nope! Running that Ball: RB Chubb – 208 for 879, ypc of 4.23, 3 scores RB Strong – 171 for 599, ypc of 4.25, 1 score QB Watson -74 for 360, 3 scores We need to upgrade that OT spot. And OC too to improve the ypc. Catching that Ball: WR Moore – 110 for 1234, 4 scores WR Cooper – 68 for 898, 4 scores TE Njoku – 49 for 442 and 5 scores WR Thrash – 47 for 315, 3 scores Not bad Moore! You were 13th most in yards. Not great Amari. Blocking that Ball: OG Teller – 50 KRB, 4 pancakes, 14 sacks allowed OG Bitonio – 31 KRB, 1 and 6 sacks OC Gadlin – 24 and 5 sacks Teller was 4th most in OGs. Not bad Bitonio, that’s it. Kicking that Ball: K Hopkins - 20 of 24, long of 47, 29 of 31 PAT Not a bad year statistically for what he was called on, not great long though Punting that Ball: P Bojorquez – 105 punts for 38.79 net, 44 in the 20 Not bad All Pro! Rushing that Ball: DE Garrett – 14 sacks, 4 TFl, 4 blocks, 21 hurries, 15 QBKD, DT Tomlinson – 9.5 sacks, 4 TFL< 11 hurries and 13 QBKD DT Hurst – 7.5 sacks, 2 blocks, 2 hurries and 8 QBKD. WLB Hudson – 6.5 sacks, 2 tfl, 2 hurries, 11 QQBKD, 4 INT, 3 pasdef MLB Bush – 158 tackles, 0.5 sakcs, 11 TFL, Garrett one off leader who as WLB and won Def. Player of the Year, he led our team in hurries too, as well as QBKD. Tomlinson was 3rd in the league in sacks at DT. Bush led our team in TFL, Covering that Ball: SS Delpit – 1 sack, 8 TFL, 4 picks, and 10 pasdef CB Emerson – 5 picks and 14 pasdef CB Ward – 4 picks and 2 pasdef CB Newsome – 1 and 21 pasdef Newsome led in pasdef and Emerson picks. Ward is our nickelback. Good year here and in sacks too. Team Awards: Offensive Player of the Year: OG Wyatt Teller – Dude got more than 50 KRB and was our sole offensive All-Pro! In a team not running since we didn’t have the lead much…Nasty good! Defensive Player of the Year: DE Myles Garrett – Loads of great options, from CB Emerson to WLB Hudson, but he was one sack from the leader, and led his position, and won All Pro. And…we weren’t sacking from the lead, just like Teller with the lack of runs. Special Teams Player of the Year: P Corey Bojorquez – He won an All Pro, great job Corey!!! Rookie of the Year: C X’Zauvea Gadlin – The previous GM traded the 1st round, so these are DT Hall, C Gadlin, SLOT WR Thrash, and that’s it for starters. The C had fewer sacks and more KRB than both Ots. Good stuff rookie!!! Heart Award: WR Elijah Moore and CB Denzel Ward – The WR Moore is just 39/39 and netted 1200 yards, led my team and was 13th in yardage!!! Ward is just a 50/50 nickelback, but notched a strong 4 picks and then that’s 2nd on my team. Great stuff Denzel!!!! We need a better offense next year at the skill positions and OT. Maybe OC too since Gadlin busted after the preseason. |
My worst move might have been not starting rookie 3rd rounder stud OG Zak Zinter who is 44/71 over Joel Bitonio I could have traded for fun stuff or cut.
The 2025 NFL Offseason: Before I end my season, here are my old school players – FS Macleod – 13 years; 11 years – LG Bitonio, 10 years – QB Winston, TE Swaim, SE Cooper, K Hopkins, DE Smith, DT Harris, ILB Hicks. LS Hughlett. My hope is that Bitonio retires, or we’ll cut/trade him if not. Retiring are FS MacLeod and TE Swaim I got an eval of 22. TIX: We have a Stadium size of 67431, all sold out, and boxes of 143, we sold 100. I massage our prices. Staff Draft: Get Ready for a Deep Dive!!! HC: Our guy is Keven Stefanski with no weaknesses, 70 motivation, discipline, intelligence, 60 playcalling and 50s elsewhere. Age of 42. First year here, good with QBs. Who do I like here? Teryl Austin – DC for Pittsburgh – I hired him with the Panthers, age 60, cares about secondary, 100 motivation, 90 playcalling and discipline, 80 scouting and interviews, 50 youth, bad dev and INT. I hired him and we made the playoffs in two years later and Super Bowl but lost two years later. I like this more here since we are divisional rivals. He’s a stud!!! I hire him. ![]() OC: Ken Dorsey, Air Coryell, age of 43, cares about Qbs, 80 youth, 60 dev, playcalling, scouting, 50 INT, weaknesses in interviews, dis and motiv. I don’t like Dorsey here, although his Air Coryell might work for our new draftee QB and WR. We need a better playcaller than 60 and we need real scouting/interviews. Since my HC is a DC, I need the best here. Who do I like? There are no OCs with Air Coryell better playcalling but they are also good with the scouting and interviews, outside: Shane Waldorn – Smashmouth TE, age 45 – 90 playcalling, scouting, 50 interviews, dis, mot, and bad at INT, youth and dev Thurman Hanson – Erhardt Perkins, age of 55, RB, 90 playcalling, mot, interviews, never mind. Keenan Layne – Smashmouth, age 61, cares about QB, playcalling of 80, INT, player dev, 70 youth, interviews, 90 scouting, bad motivation and discipline. Layne is amazing everywhere I need, but smashmouth? Do I want that? Great for a stud O Line and RB, sure, but is that the right offense for a new rookie QB and WRs like I got with Legette and Jackson and the Panthers? Smashmouth does feel AFC North too. I hire Layne. DC: Jim Schwartz – Age 58, 4-3 Eagle, cares about LBs, 100 motivation, 90 playcalling, 80 dis, 60 scouting, bad in dev, youth, interviews and INT. I do like how studly Schwartz is with the playcalling. I need a better scouting and interviews though, and 4-3 Eagle since that’s how to emphasize our studly D Line. Darren Rizzi – 4-3 Over, age 54, playcalling 80, motivation and dev too, 60 youth, scout interviews, bad at INT and disc. Rodrigo Willis – 4-3 Under, age 51, secondary, 100 motivation, 80 playcalling, 70 interview. 60 scouting, INT, dev and dis, only bad at motivation. Our AC is Raymond Ventrone – age 42, 4-3 Under, cares about secondary, no weaknesses, 80 playcalling, interviews, 70 dev, 60 mot, 50 elsewhere. Great!!! Him for DC? I hire Willis. AC: Raymond Ventrone – age 42, 4-3 Under, cares about secondary, no weaknesses, 80 playcalling, interviews, 70 dev, 60 mot, 50 elsewhere. Great!!! No new hires Head Trainer: Larry Jackson – age 53, 30/40/30. Ugh. I hire Kevin King – age 48, str of 90, Con of 70 INT of 60 The Rookie Draft: I need a strong studly QB to push my team. Remember with the Panthers in year 3 I drafted at 1.2 the best of two QBs left named Plamondon, he was in the low 50s, we made it to playoffs, busted , made the playoffs with Dalton, then I traded up for 1.1 to draft Fiste who was Super Bowl but lost as a rookie to the Chiefs in the low 70s. I need a stud, and am happy to trade for one. This is a two QB draft with an As Scouted 9.9 QB at the top named Martin Perron. There is also an 8.0 overrated KC Weiss. There are three low 6.0s QBs too. We are drafting1.7. There are 12 7.0s and more. An underrated RB 7.2 John Leek looks studly. Three more RBs in the 6.0s. Just two low 6.0s WR, two 6.1 Ogs, 8.2 RT, 7.3 LT, and 9 more 6.s 4 7s DEs, and 3 6.0s one 7.1 DT, 7 6s, one 7.8 OLB, 5 6s at both ILB and OLB. Two mid 6.5s S and one low. 5 6.0.s CBs Tag: MLB Devin Bush is 66/66, would tag with 30 mill. Also free are WR Cooper, OLB Hudson, RB Chubb and OT Willis. Nope to tags. See you day 1!!! |
The 2025 NFL Free Agency
Day 1 – I have on my roster signed 32 out of 51. I am OVER the cap by 48 mill. I cut Watson at 72.94, but only free up 46 mill when released. 26.5 mill on next year’s cap hit too. I now am over by 2.3 mill. No one wants Bitonio, I cut him and save 15 mill off 22.29. Now I am under by 12.72, enough for my UFAs post draft. TE Njoku - 42/42, cap hit of 22.19, cut, frees up 15.25 mill. Done. Free is 27.95 mill. In the Last Year of Extensions to Reduce Cap: OG Wyatt Teller – 74/74, year 8, All Pro, cap hit of 21.91, wants one year extension of 31.31, cap hit move to 21.33 not much of a change CB Newsome – 70/70. Year five, cap hit of 13.38, wants 4 years, of 73.17, cap hit rise to 13.92. He was 1st round draft pick with an extension. Rough but worth it, but just 52 pick rating DE Smith – 60/60, year 11, cap hit of 9.43, wants one year extension of 18.22 to raise to 13.88, to free is 4.10, not much. I’ll keep but not a pass rush specialist. DE Okoronkwo – 54/54. age 29, pass rush specialist. Cap hit of 5.35, wants one year extension to 6.46, rise to 5.62, but next year just 3.47 P Bojorquez – Age 28, 60/60, cap hit of 2.44 wants raise to 3.39 at three years for 10.53. All Pro last year… Rookies Needing Extension of Value: CB Emerson – All Pro, year 4, 76/76, cap hit of 1.74, wants real money of 113.34 for 5 years at cap hit rise to 16.22. That would use up my cap space, but he’s a stud. CB Ward – 50/50, year 8. Cap hit of 24.6 mill. I cut to free up 14.040. I now have free 42.03 mill OC Pocic – 17/17, cap hit of 7.89, I cut for 6 mill. I extend Teller. Resigns: I sign RB Chubb to 6.9 mill over 2 years, cap hit of 3.25. I have free 45.36 What does MLB Bush want? 66/66, year 7, age 26 - wants 71.25 over three years, cap hit of 20.15 Nope! WLB Hudson – 54/54 – age 27, wants 38.75 for three years, cap hit of 10.89. Nope. He’s not worth it no pass rush specialist. WR Cooper – 57/57, year 11, wants two years, 29 mill, cap hit of 13.3. Nope. I can probably do that for younger or older and cheaper. LT Adenji - 3rd year, 27/45 – wants one year at 1 mill, done LT Willis – 6th year, 50/50, age 25 wants 10.52 over three years for cap hit of 2.95, done FS Thornhill – 45/45, year 7, age 29, studly picks at 89. Wants three year deal of 9.06, cap hit of 2.61. Done QB Winston – 31/31, year 11, wants just 1.38 to resign. Our other backup is 18/26 3rd year QB Thompson-Robinson. Done. I have cap hit after that of 37.40. I have signed 32. I need one starter WR, a better LS (Mine is 36 LS), better Kicker for 46/46 Hopkins, starter TE, starter at WLB and MLB , RT in the draft too, FS starter, and also keep cap space for UFAs post and then, Ideally keep open space for the 15 ish mill, but I doubt it. I head to Day 2! Day 2 – Any great QB to sign? My team could use a vet since it’s older. 54/54 Sam Darnold wants mad cash. I want to keep the cap free for the more pricey 1st round pick, owned by the Broncos. They want my 1.7 and the next two firsts. Done. I now have free 33.85, and I’d like to keep free at least 10 mill for Late Fa. Probably a bit more since I just have signed 32. TE: All of my TEs left, retired, or are cut, so I could use a cheap starter TE. TE Mark Andrews – 55/55, age 29, wants 46.82 mill, cap hit of 13.42 TE Evan Engram – year 9, age 30, 50/50, wants two years at 5.82, cap hit of just 2.76 TE Josh Oliver – year 7, age 28, 50/50, wants 3 years at 2.55 cap hit for a total of 8.8. I like both Oliver and Engram for cost. WR: I have just two WRs, and the pricey Jeudy is one in the 39s, with a cap hit of 7s but I’d ply free up 1 mill by cutting him. I’d love to bring back Cooper, but he’s too pricery. WR Cooper Kupp – Year 9, age 31, 61/61, wants 16.96 over 3 years for a cap hit of 4.89 WR Christian Kirk - Year 8. Age 28, 57/57, wants 2 years at 10.880 for cap hit of 4.89 too Love them both, I wanted to sign someone and keep Cooper and then draft a replacement when Cooper left. Nope. Those are the best cheap WRs. I prefer Kupp’s three year cap hit, since I could offer him more bonus to sign without hurting the cap much, but I prefer that Kirk’s is three eyars younger too. Kupp WILL bust, but he’s cheap. Kirk might not for a year or two, or might. RT: RT Matt Pryor – Age 30, 57/57, run block specialist with 85. Wants 3 years deal for a total of 10.62, cap hit of 3.13. I like the three year deal for the same reason as Kupp, great patch until I draft or sign a better starter. LB: I have just the studly 62/62 OLB Owusu-Koramoah. I need two cheaper starters, but these can wait until the draft or later years, since we are 4-3. MLB Elliot Gillespie – 57/57, age 27, wants a cheaper 12.88 over 3 years, cap hit of 3.58. Love his youth. SLB Jonathan Greenard – Age 27, 54/54, wants two years of 6.65, cap hit of 3.08, run stopper I love them both, they are young and cheaper and mid 50s. FS: FS Kevin Byard -56/56, age 31, older, wants two years of 6.53 for cap hit of 3.08 – good picks at 72 FS Jevon Holland – age 25, 55/55, wants three years at 9.87 for a cap hit of 2.79, picks are a little worse at 62. Byard is old but cheap. Holland is young and cheap. LS: LS Zach Triner – LS of 68, age 34, ouch, wants 2.73 2 years for cap hit of 1.28 K: K Harry Jeffries 2nd year, 64 but cannot sign until 2nd FA. Cutting my K Hopkins will free up 2 mill P: P Bojorquez is solid at 60/60 and just won Punter, but he’s not highly rated at 60/60. He is tied for the 24th best P with a few others. If we can pin them deep, we can really push, and with a rookie QB, we’ll need that studly Punter. To cut him would free up 2 mill even. There are three Ps in the 80s in FA P Cameron Johnson – 86/86, age 33, wants 2 years of total of 7.89 for cap hit of 3.59 – best leg at 100 P Riley Dixon – 85/85, age 31, wants 3 years at 11.98 cap hit of 3.54, 85 leg, best accuracy at 100 P Rigoberto Sanchez – 81/81, age 30. Wants 3 years at 12.16 for cap hit of 3.46, 85 leg I have a cap under of 33.85. If I keep 12 mill for more UFA,s that’s 21.5 mill. My biggest needs are WR, TE, RT, K, LS, and then since I signed a couple of backup FS, I’d go LB and FS and then P. If I were to offer TE Oliver 3 mill, WR Kupp/Kirk 5.5 mill and RT Pryor 3.75 that’s12.25, then LS Triner at 1.75 is 14 mill, and I’d need to keep free for K post draft. MLB Gillespie is 4.25 mill, 18.25 total, SLB Greenard is 3.75 for 22 mill, and then FS Holland is 3.25 for a total of 25.25. If I were to offer Holland but not Greenard that would be 21.5 even to what I want. All offers made for the amount mentioned, and I first offer Kirk. I don’t have the cap space for P. Day 7 - TE Oliver and MLB Gillespie sign. Day 9 – RT Pryor signs, Holland heads back for a cheaper deal to Miami. Is FS Byard still free? Yeah he’d be a 3.5 to beat others, but he’s old. And that’s a bit higher than my 3.25 mill budget for Holland. He wants 2.71 for a two year deal, I could just offer 3.25 and see if he signs for that. Or SS Marcus Epps is 29 and 55/55 good at all overage stuff and wants just 7.97 for three years so a cap hit of 2.31. I offer him 2.85. That’ll keep free more cash. Day 10 - LS Triner signs! I cut LS Hughlett and free 1.26 mill. I have 35 under signed now with that swap. SS Epps and WR Kirk left! Day 12 – They both accept! I have signed 37 and cap space left of 14.45, I’ll wait until post draft since I’ll need space for a new K that get’s freed, or a UFA too. See you at the draft!!! |
The 2025 NFL Amateur Draft:
1st Round – We obviously take QB Martin Perron who my staff like too…See you tomorrow! 2nd Round – At the 2.6, my staff like SLB Lukas Kus who is 6.7, the top player on the board, and as scouted, to replace Hudson who left in FA. He’s a stud, true. He’s great at run, pass and strength, and us investing in great D is very Browns. Any good WRs for m y 2nd spot here? RB Minnack at 6.5 As Scouted since we are Smashmouth now? I go Kus. 3rd Round – Our 3.5 arrives and I’ve got a trade offer for this pick from the Saints for their 3.29 and then their 3rd next year in 2026 and 7th that year too. Who is here? My staff like CB Kim Kinsler who is I 6.1 and hard to read. I could use a nickelback after cutting 50/50 Ward, and who knows what’ll happen with my 4th year Emerson and extend him. CB 5.9 German Dickerson is very underrated though. I do him, sorry Saints. He’s strong at everything but picks, but very underrated vs hard to read for my staff? I do him. 4th Round – My staff here like DT KJ Welch who is 5.4 and overrated, nope. I kinda like K Brandin Hatley, very good accuracy, okay leg, 4.3, as scouted. I draft him. He’s also from Ohio, good karma. Our rookie QB might move us, but not score, we need that K upgrade from Hopkins 5th Round - I get a trade offer from New England for this pick and they’ll give us their 6.4 and 6th next year. My staff here like RB Frankie Perritt who is 5.7 and As scouted. His bars aren’t great. I need a starter WR across from Kirk, 1 backup WR, 2 backup TEs, 1 backup RB, FB since I am smashmouth, starter OC for Gadlin, backup if not, 2 backup OGs, backup DT, backup LB, FS starter, two backup CBs. On the board is as scouted FB Dan Klecko at 4.1. TE very underrated 4.2 Bird, 4.9 As scouted WR Sammie Bray, or 4.8 Chaplin with better bars also as scouted, I do Chaplin. He’s from Marshall in WV my home state. 6th Round – The 6.5 is here!!! My staff here still like Perritt, is TE Bird or FB Klecko on the board? No to Klecko we are down at FB a few more to 3.6 , but Bird is there. Also falling is 5.9 CB Brandon Weber who is as scouted, I still need two more. He’s not great at picks, but then Dickerson wasn’t either. DT Pope, underrated 5.7? I need a backup? I prefer Weber’s bars. I do very underrated CB Ian Ruble with studly pick and good bars too. He’s also good karma from an Ohio school, 7th Round – The 7.7 is here! My staff like RB Tracy McBride who is 5.5 and as scouted. He’s fine. He is the 199th pick so we got an achievement for drafting at Brady’s spot. He’s fine for here, is Bird on the board? Yup! I snag his very underrated self. He’s from my alma mater WVU The 2025 Cleveland Browns Draft: 1.1 – QB Martin Perron, Notre Dame, 59/78 2.6 – SLB Lukas Kus, Maryland, 51/68 3.5 – CB German Dickerson, Colorado State, 47/59 4.7 – K Brandin Hatley, Toledo, 49/75 5.6 – WR Alexis Chaplin, Marshall, 35/48 6.5 – CB Ian Ruble, Miami of Ohio, 43/59 7.7 – TE Norman Bird, WVU, 23/35 In Perron’s Persona we trust!!! He’ better than Fiste who we took here and traded for, will he stay though? He is as scouted. Kus is studly…if he grows he’ll be the 7th best OLB at 68. Dickerson and Hatley both are starters or strong special teams. Chaplin is better than Jeudy and will start barring a better backup or 2nd FA signing. Two strong CB with Ruble falling, if I knew he’d be there and better at picks, I would have gone elsewhere with 3.5. He’s also very underrated. Ditto Bird but not great looks. |
The 2025 NFL Late Free Agency:
Day 1 – I cut K Hopkins and free 2 mill. I have signed now 43 with cap space of 16.47 cash. I extend P Bojorquez…since there wasn’t a good rookie or UFA and do I want to extend CB Newsome? He’s 70/70 and 52 at picks, and then wants 73.71 for four years to rise to cap hit this year of 13.92 against 13.38 so a cap rise, but my two drafted high 50s CBs make this harder, and Ruble is studly at picks and very underrated. I will wait until the end of preseason to see if I need to sign Newsome. I have free 15.52 I offer these UFAs three year and 60k bonus deals with cap hit of 840k OC Carlos Hogg – 29/53 – I offer more bonus CB Enrique Bullock – 33/51 OG Tariq Gaziano – 22/44 OG Trey Latimer – 25/42 QB Isaac Ansara – 31/46 TE Scott Torain – 25/44 RB Nicholas Ballou – 39/47 WR Marvin Hileman – 20/37 DT Marquez Timmons – 27/43 SLB Wally Bosch – 32/44 10 would bring me to 53 with a cut for 3rd string for QB Ansara and… I offer: FB Khalil Rankin – 59/61 2nd year, 3 years of 4.31, cap hit of 1.3 That would get me to my roster stuff if they all signed. But…I wouldn’t have any depth. Day 2 – Five sign, C Hogg, TE Torain, QB Ansara, SLB Bush and CB Bullock I increase the many chasing FB Rankin and raise cap hit to 1.61 Day 3 – OG Latimer signs!!! Day 4 – FB Rankin and WR Hilleman sign! Day 5 – All three left sign! I have cap space of 5.46 mill for emergencies Here are my UFAs after signing! UFAs: OC Carlos Hogg – 28/50 CB Enrique Bullock – 34/51 OG Tariq Gaziano – 21/50 OG Trey Latimer – 25/42 QB Isaac Ansara – 30/44 TE Scott Torain – 25/42 RB Nicholas Ballou – 37/44 WR Marvin Hileman –19/37 DT Marquez Timmons – 27/41 SLB Wally Bosch – 34/49 Ansara dropped but is still way better than our 3rd string or even 2nd string Winston. RB Ballou a bit of a drop, ditto TE Torain, but not Hileman. A bit of a drop by C Hogg, I was hoping he could be a cheap temp starter. BIG rise by OG Gaziano! Same as OG Latimer, small drop by DT Timmons, nice rise by SLB Bosh and CB Bullock the same so I have three strong 50+ starters, subs in UFA. I head to preseason! |
The 2025 NFL Preseason:
Week 1 – At Atlanta - We are on the road!!! Last year we went 3-0 and undefeated can we repeat with a rookie QB in his first game away? We win a high scoring 30-18, no injuries Week 2 – BYE Week 3 – Minnesota – We host the Vikings! We edge them 26-21. No injuries either Week 4 – At Tampa Bay – Can we go 3-0 again with a rookie on the road closing? Yes a defensive 10-3 game win. Rookie Lookie #2: 1.1 – QB Martin Perron, Notre Dame, 59/78; 62/76 2.6 – SLB Lukas Kus, Maryland, 51/68; 60/71 3.5 – CB German Dickerson, Colorado State, 47/59; 56/65 4.7 – K Brandin Hatley, Toledo, 49/75; 56/75 5.6 – WR Alexis Chaplin, Marshall, 35/48; 39/50 6.5 – CB Ian Ruble, Miami of Ohio, 43/59; 57/69 7.7 – TE Norman Bird, WVU, 23/35; 27/33 A small drop by Perron, but if he evens out at 76 he was worth it. A small rise by Kus, he was worth it. A huge rise by Dickerson, since he was very underrated that was expected. Hatley no changes, nice. Good small rise by Chaplin at 50 pot. Ruble stud boomed to 69 too. Fall by TE Bird sad. UFAs: OC Carlos Hogg – 28/50; 31/48 CB Enrique Bullock – 34/51; 41/57 OG Tariq Gaziano – 21/50; 28/49 OG Trey Latimer – 25/42; 30/41 QB Isaac Ansara – 30/44; 34/47 TE Scott Torain – 25/42; 28/43 RB Nicholas Ballou – 37/44; 39/42; WR Marvin Hileman –19/37; 22/33 DT Marquez Timmons – 27/41; 24/26 SLB Wally Bosch – 34/49; 43/52 Fall by Hogg, wow Bullock boomed to FIFTY SEVEN!!! Three 50+ CBs that fell in draft…QB Ansara rose 3. Fall by Hileman. BIG by Timmons, Another big rise by Bosch!!! I cut QB Thompson-Robinson. I have free 6.46 mill I need to talk about extending CB Newsome no thanks I just drafted an entire secondary in one draft. Here’s my pretty solid upgrades from the Draft, UFA and FA: The 2025 Cleveland Browns! ![]() Here you go! Only Chubb who fell to 46/46, TE Oliver to 47/47, RT Pryor to 49/49, SS Delpit at FS and then for some random reason they are not starting SE Chaplain at SE across from Kirk. I don’t know, I hit it a few times. Those are my only non-50+ starters. New signees SS Epps, FB Rankin, MLB Gillespie, RT Pryor, TE Oliver are starting. I have draftees starting at QB, K, nickelback, SLB. Nice!!! You can see all depth sorted by future and that’s mostly green or more. Here's my first rounder: ![]() QB Perron! He’s only bad at improv. Like me, he’s a scrambler like Watson. He’s amazing in strength, quality potential, pass timing, sense the rush, footwork, strong in accuracy, decisions, reading the defense, solid 50s and 60s in touch, two minute offense. Love him if he doesn’t bust…. How about 1st round grade SLB Kus? ![]() Here he is! The 38th pick in the draft! With a 60/71 size right now. His run, pass, and pass strength are all 80s. His coverage and picks are fine, and then he’s at 65 diagnosis, nice and well rounded for where he was picked!!! Can Perron give us a winning playoff season? If you’ll recall with our Panthers, Andy Dalton didn’t in years 1 and 2, then new low 50s QB in his debut season QB Plamondon did, then he busted, and Dalton kept us there, and then Fiste in the 5th year and first got us to the playoffs and then the Super Bowl and lost to Mahomes but still won Super Bowl MVP and outdueled him. We only have one year of talent acquisition, but we already had studs all over the D, and kept all but 66/66 MLB Devin Bush. But we signed 57/57 and for much cheaper. |

The 2025 NFL Playoffs:
Can we duplicate getting to the Super Bowl in his debut year with Perron just like Fiste, but this time winning it all? Wild Card Weekend: I want the Ravens to lose on the road to the 10-7 Dolphins. I’d also love the Raiders WC to defeat Mahomes’s Chiefs and Titans to beat the Jags at home too. Two WC wins, one loss. NONE of those happen, so we are going to earn each week we advance… The Jags won 29-15 over the Titans The Chiefs won 25-17 over the 12-5 Raiders The Ravens on the road knocked out the Dolphins 33-17 The Packers over the Lions 20-18 The 49ers over the Vikings 41-20 The Panthers 16-10 over the Eagles We host the Ravens, the team that beat us, but in their space, and…last game…they have momentum The Divisional Champ Weekend: We each won at home! Can we one up the Ravens and go 2-1 on the season? Yes, we win 30-13 against the similarly constructed Ravens. Perron is 20 of 27 for 201 and 2:0, scores to WR Thrash and UFA rookie TE Torrain. DT Tomlinson, Furec SCORE, also rec by DE Okoronkwo, 2 FF by Kus, 2 sacks by Garrett, 3 KRB by RT Pryor, Teller and Zinter. Also: The Jags won at home against Mahomes 40-23 Carolina lost 43-35 to the Cowboys The 49ers knocked out the Packers 36-13 The Conference Championship: We host the Jags and Trever Lawrence and we won in their place earlier this year, can we sweep them here? Again, the battle of 1.1 picks! We win a close one 28-24 RB Ballou is 16 for 104, rush score by Chubb, Perron is 25 of 31 for 249 and 3:0, scores by TE Torain, WR Thrash and FB Rankin. Pick by SS Epps, 1.5 sacks by Garrett, 3 KRB by Gadlin, light otherwise Also: The 49ers on the road knocked out their #1 seed the Cowboys 43-31. Ouch. The NFL 2025 Super Bowl: Your AFC Champion #1 Seed 15-2 Cleveland Browns Vs Your NFC Champion #4 Seed 9-8 San Francisco 49ers Can we beat them? Can Perron win a debut rookie 1.1 to Super Bowl Champion in one year? Nope, they edge defensively 13-3. Perron was 25 for 35 for 235 and 0:1, pick by Emerson, 3 sacks by WLB Owusu-Koramoah, light blocking day. That happened with Fiste too, but I was hoping for my stud D and people like Garrett to win one before retiring. |
League Awards:
Def. Player of the Year: DE Myles Garrett Super Bowl MVP: WLB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah Off. Rookie of the Year: QB Martin Perron All-Pro 1st Team: OG Wyatt Teller RT Matt Pryor!! DE Myles Garrett DT Dalvin Tomlinson!!! CB Martin Emerson All-Pro 2nd Team: SLB Lukas Kus!!!! We did get an achievement for Four First Team All Pros. Rookie Kus with a debut year All Pro, and Perron the expected Rookie of the Year for his position, but I like Kus for 2nd, was CB Ruble robbed of an All Pro? Garrett was studly all up and down this year. I never got Def. Player of the Year with the Panthers, so it’s nice that’s my first FOF9 one. And he’s worth it. Now let’s come back and win him the Super Bowl he deserves! That’s Tomlinson’s first All Pro and he should have gotten one last year. I was shocked that RT Pryor, a older run blocking spehttps://forums.operationsports.com/fofc/images/editor/separator.gifcialist who fell did that well in his first season with us since he’s a rental. Rookie Lookie #3: 1.1 – QB Martin Perron, Notre Dame, 59/78; 62/76; 70/76 2.6 – SLB Lukas Kus, Maryland, 51/68; 60/71; 72/72 3.5 – CB German Dickerson, Colorado State, 47/59; 56/65; 65/65 4.7 – K Brandin Hatley, Toledo, 49/75; 56/75; 68/68 5.6 – WR Alexis Chaplin, Marshall, 35/48; 39/50; 43/50 6.5 – CB Ian Ruble, Miami of Ohio, 43/59; 57/69; 72/72 7.7 – TE Norman Bird, WVU, 23/35; 27/33; 30/33 Please Perron don’t fall next year…Kus nasty. Bit of a bust by K Hatley but still okay. Ruble another rise. UFAs: OC Carlos Hogg – 28/50; 31/48; 31/48 CB Enrique Bullock – 34/51; 41/57; 42/57 OG Tariq Gaziano – 21/50; 28/49; 28/48 OG Trey Latimer – 25/42; 30/41; 31/41 QB Isaac Ansara – 30/44; 34/47; 35/47 TE Scott Torain – 25/42; 28/43; 34/43 RB Nicholas Ballou – 37/44; 39/42; 42/42 WR Marvin Hileman –19/37; 22/33; 25/33 DT Marquez Timmons – 27/41; 24/26; 24/26 SLB Wally Bosch – 34/49; 43/52; 54/54 Another rise by SLB Bosch! Good stuff here too. Stats: Passing that Ball: QB Perron – 360 of 548, 3822, 23:9, QBR of 93.0 Is Perron in the right system at Smashmouth? Ugh all Rushing that Ball: RB Chubb – 200 for 837; ypc of 4.19, 3 scores. Ugh RB Ballou – 143 for 522, ypc of 3.65, 5 scores Not great here either for Smashmouth Catching that Ball: WR Kirk - 96 for 1129 yards, 7 scores TE Oliver - 58 for 501 and 7 scores too WR Chaplin – 45 for 470 and 1 score Not bad for Kirk or Oliver. We got to get Chaplin the ball more. Blocking that Ball: OG Teller – 54 KRB, 5 pancakes, 6 sacks allowed RT Pryor – 38 KRB, 2 pancakes, 7 sacks allowed OG Zinter – 32 KRB, 10 sacks allowed Teller led the league in KRB!!! Pryor was tied for 5th, surprised he won All Pro. Kicking that Ball: K Hatley – 33 of 35, long of 35, 39 of 40 PAT Great stuff here rookie, just two missing FGs and one PAT in your debut year!!! Punting that Ball: P Bojorquez – 104 punts for a net of 34.63, 41 in the 20… …bad average…. Rushing that Ball: DE Garrett – 21.5 sacks, 3 TFL, 14 blocks, 24 hurries 28 QBKD DT Tomlinson – 9.5 sacks, 6 TFL, 3 block, 9 hurries, 10 QBKD DE Smith – 7.5 sacks, 5 TFL, 2 block, 14 hurries, 11 QBKD DE Okoronkwo - 7.5 sacks, 4 blocks, 6 hurries, 12 QBKD DT Hall – 6.5 sacks, 2 TFL, 4 blocks, 8 hurries, 11 QBKD WLB Owusu-Koramoah – 5 sacks, 4 TFL, 5 hurries, 9 QBKD MLB Gillespie – 3 sacks, 8 TFL, 3 blocks, 2 hurries, 6 QBKD; 1 pick, 1 IT RET TD, 6 pasdef SLB Kus – 2 sacks, 5 TFL, 6 hurries, 2 QBKD; 5 INT, 2 INT RET TD, 15 pasdef That’s obviously my best year with a single player in FOF9. Studly!!! Tomlinson led all DTs in sacks. We obviously did well in rushing that passer!!! Even MLB Gillespie got a few, and led our team in TFL. Hello Kus in pass coverage alone. Covering that Ball: CB Emerson – 6 picks, 1 INT RET TD, 25 pasdef CB Ruble – 6 picks, 11 pasdef S Delpit – 2 and 9 pasdef SS Epps – 1 and 14 pasdef Great year in picks, but was Ruble robbed of an All Pro with the same # of picks but not even All Pro 2nd Team… What’s going to happen with Emerson next year since he just got two All Pros back to back and is just 25 in his 4th year, his picks are 82 and he’s 75/75 overall…what’s he going to want with his deal ending? And is that good salary cap management with two other 50+ CBS from that draft Team Awards: Offensive Player of the Year – OG Wyatt Teller – Dude just won 2nd All Pro and led league in KRB overall, not just for his position, I hate to give this award twice, but there you go old man. Defensive Player of the Year – DE Myles Garrett – I don’t like giving this out twice, but…this also old man just earned it with a League Def. MVP!!! He led the league in sacks by tons, and our team by tons of defensive rushing that passer ones. I hope to give this to him next year…. Special Teams Player of the Year – K Brandin Hatley – Just two missed FGs and one PAT is great stuff rookie!!! Normally I’d give this to Rookie of the Year but you can see two great candidates there. Rookie of the Year - SLB Lukas Kus- With the off year statistically that Off. Rookie of the Year had, I’m going to reward 2nd round pick that won All Pro in his debut year in the league!!! Love him if he can keep that picks and pasdef up, but we do need that sack number to rise up since he’s good at it. Heart Award - RT Matt Pryor – Dude just won All Pro as a 49/49 RT and fell from 57/57 where we signed him at the age of 31. Great job old man!!!!!!!!!!!! |
The 2026 NFL Offseason:
I have on my roster prior 4 11 year vets – DE Smith, QB Winston, DT Harris and MLB Hicks. No 10s, then these 9s – DE Garrett and DT Tomlinson. That’s it for vets. Retiring is DE Smith, 55/55 at an old time, good luck in retirement!!! Welcome to next year!!! I score a 49. I have 42 under contract. TIX: We sold out again, I raise prices again Staff Draft: As you know, last year I hired the best OC on the board, who was Smashmouth, and we had a rookie QB do well wins and playoffs, but not statistically. I am worried he’s a much worse QB under there, and will bust 2nd year. If that was just rookie nerves, then a 2nd year should work and see improvement, now that he’s 70/76. If not I’ll replace my OC next year. I don’t hire anyone Rookie Draft is Revealed: I need a better RB than busted 9th year vet Nick Chubb, starter LT for Wills and RT Taylor and C Gadlin, strong stud WR to unlock Perron, better starter TE than older 47/47 Oliver, better P for Bojorquez, a stud DE for retiring Smith although 54/54 pass rush Okoronkwo is fine without, and draft/sign in FA a starter at FS. We are drafting 31st in each round obviously, but not 1.31 that was traded. This is a two QB draft at 8.1(Ernie Crank, as scouted) and 7.8, (James Oliver, overrated). At RB two in the 70. The best is 7.9 overrated Nelson Amerson, and 7.3 Dominic Mann is also overrated, then four in the 6s. Light. TWO stud TEs at 6.3 and 6.0 and a bunch of high 5s. Deep, maybe one will fall…just two 6s WR, no strong OC, one stud OG at 7.6, and three low 6.0, at OT? One stud 7.4 LT and NO sixes, rough this is normally deep when I need both. A stud leg and hang time P as scouted but weak accuracy, named Rosborough, 3.8. stud DE at 7.7 not invited to the combine, tons of 6.s., at DT stud at 7.8, and then a handful of 6s. just one 6.2 ILB and OLB has 7.1 and a few 6.2s that’s it, CB has the best non-Qb in the draft, 8.0 Bert Videl and 7.3 just one 6.7. Light, at S just 6.1 that’s it rough. Tag? Tag time!!! There are three starters, CB 76/76 Emerson, 66/66 Newsome, and 54/54 DE Okoronkwo. I don’t have the need for Newsome, and the Tag is too much for Okoronkwo – Emerson is worth it, but I need to see my cap first at FA. That would be 24.9 mill. I head to FA!!! |
The 2026 NFL Free Agency:
Day 1 - I have on my roster 42 and a strong cap of 57.15, and I’d like to save 10 mill so 47 cap space. Resigns: CB Emerson – 5th year vet, back to back All Pros, stud 76/76, I like to keep future Hall of Famers, wants real money of 136.900 mill, for a cap hit of 19.66. He is the CB Jaycee Horn I inherited on the Panthers who had four All Pros and finished with a Hall of Fame career and was our first HOF player and for the Panther period. That would drop cap space to 27.5 mill for FA DE Okoronkwo – 8th year vet, age 30, 54/54, pass rush, could sub in unless I draft a better one, wants 2 years of 19.11 for cap hit of 8.78 this year, that would drop my cap space to 38.25 and if both 18.75 left. Also free are ILB Hicks, LT Adenjii, DT Harris, RB Strong, QB Winston, FS Hickman, and DE Wright. There are no rookies in final year needing extensions, they were cut. Other Extensions Needed: DE Garrett – Cap hit of 20.37, wants one year extension of 28.78 to rise to 32.28 but drop next year to 15.57. Nope. That’s too pricey an increase of the cap. DT Tomlinson – Cap hit 19.54, wants one year extension of 34.51, rise to 20.98, increase in cap of 1.44, done OG Teller – Cap hit of 17.08 and wants one year extension of 22.06 to drop to 14.25 done WR Kirk – 6.51 cap hit, 58/58, age 29, wants real money of 30.39 to raise to 15.25, nope SS Grant Delpit – 47/47 age of 27, cap hit of 8.03, wants three year deal for 26.9 for a cap hit rise to 13.6, nope. If I cut him I’d free just 1.98 because of how heavy the previous GM gave bonuses. I’l just let him play it out, OC Gadlin – 46/52, year 3, cap hit of 1.06 wants 2 year deal at 4.56 for a cap hit rise to 2.03. I’ll wait until late FA to see if I draft or UFA one better. I don’t extend Chubb, LS Zach Triner at 68/68 last year but age 35 dropped o 58/58 long snapping, so I wont resign him either, and hope to bring in a better one in FA. I want https://forums.operationsports.com/f.../separator.gifto resign both Emerson and Okoronkwo. But that’d leave me less than 19 for a starter FS, RB, WR, LT for Willis, C for Gadlin, better starting TE, P and LS. Although those can be draftees too, but I don’t have a 1.31 to draft one. I retain both. I need to keep my talent. I have free in cap space 30.1 so 20 mill for FA. We’ll need to spend it well like last year’s 1k season with Kirk, RT Taylors All Pro or the solid year with MLB Gillespie. Day 2 – Who do I like? LS/P: The best P are bad. No great LS either or cheap TEs. FS: FS Demarcco Hellams – 52/55 – year 4, age 25, wants budget one year at 2.31 mill RB: RB Devin Singeltary – year 8, age 28, 57/57. Wants two year deal of 7.32, cap hit of 3.45 RB James Cook, year 5 age 26, 52/52 wants 2 years of 7.24, cap hit of 3.42 RB Breece Hall, year 5, age 24, 51/51, wants 3 years at 11.35, cap hit of 3.3 I like the cheap and Hall is he youngest but also the worst, and wants a 3 year deal. WR: WR Jauan Jennings – 58/58, age 28, wants 3 years at 5.54 cap hit off a deal at 19.58 WR Alec Pierce – 53/53, age 25, wants 3 years too at 16.36 total for a cap hit of 4.55 Jennings is better, but older by three years. Both want three year deals easy to up offers without cap hit. Each is value for high 50s and low 50s. Any good deals? If I offer Hellams 3.25, Hall 3.75 and Jennings 6.5 that uses up just 13.5 mill, I’d have 7.5 for a good OC/RT/LT OC/OT: OC is talent poor, and Gadlin is the 17th best at a pot of 52. His run blocking is 58/68. OC Hogg’s is better at 35/73. The free ones with better ratings are worse in run blocking by bunches or in their 30s. OT too aren’t cheap or young. I offer the Hall at 3.75, Jennings 6.5 and then Hellams at 3.5 since I have the cap space and he’s young. Day 5 – WR Jennings signs!!! Day 6 – RB Hall resigns with the Giants for less, is Cook free? Nope he signed. Singletary is free but he’ll bust. I’ll skip Any FAs free for 10.5 mill now that that’s not free? OC Jake Brendel – 71/71, age 33, wants 2 years, 24.16 mill and cap hit of 10.89. 100 run blocking, good patch. TE Mark Andrews – 60/60 age 30, wants 21.39 2 years cap hit of 9.777 Nice ability and cost on Andrews, too old though. If he were two years younger, done. Nope to both Day 11 – FS Hellams signs!! I have signed 46. C Brendrel drops his demand, I offer 10.2 mill cap hit. Day 12 – He signs! I head to the draft |
The 2026 NFL Amateur Draft:
2nd Round – Our pick arrives! I could use starters at TE, RB, backup QB, RB, starter L/RT and backup LT if not, 2 backup DEs, backup DT, backup ILB, nothing in the secondary My staff here like DE Phillip Porcher who is overrated and 5.6. There is a stud 6.3 OG very underrated with amazing bars on the board named Shawn Bucci. Even the 6.1 OG after him as scouted has great bars. Do I grab Wayne Teller’s guy since he fell, and Teller is 31 and now 67/67 and fell. When you are drafting here you are often just BAPing. He is pretty green though. Looks better than Teller. What about RT/LT? All of the top five in the top 5.0s are overrated. Ditto RB, there is a very underrated TE Bynum that’s 4.5. DT Pao since a need backup an he’s underrated. He’s amazing at pass rush strength, not that well rounded. OG Bucci or DT Pao? This is where I drafted my stud and HOF player OG Montano, late 2nd, and this guy is studly, but green, so if I drafted I could cut Teller to force my OC to start him now, and then keep him. Could I trade Teller at a 67/67 OG? I’d keep him if he were a Cleveland Browns since he’d go to my HOF, but he’s a Bill. I draft Shawn Bucci! 3rd Round – Is P Rosborough on the board? Yup! My staff here like ILB Bryce Greenburg who is 5.7 and overrated. DT Pao is drafted. TE Bynum? Yup! I’d like to snag both Bynum and Rosborough. I grab Bynum. Rosborough is not taken in the 3rd. 4th Round - I trade for 4.8 for the Bills and give them my 4.31, 6.19 from Detroit and 2028s 5th. I draft him! 5th Round – We arrive and our staff here like ILB Owen Kelemen who is 5.2 and As Scouted. He’s okay for here, but MLB is my least spot of need, especially since I have 54/54 backup OLB from last year’s UFA. DE? WLB Vanover is As scouted, I like underrated DT Harris Northup who is good at pass rush here. 6th Round – My staff here like ILB Tre McClennan who is 5.5 and overrated. I take a flyer on very underrated 4.7 LT named Adrian Wilder. 7th Round - Our 7.19 traded for pick arrives, and I get a trade offer for it from the Titans offering us two future 7ths. Who is here that they are trading for or that I could use? My staff here like ILB Johnny Tilley who is 4.6 and underrated. Are they going for 5.8 As scouted QB Pierre Barnhart? I do need drafting one, and I need a backup one, I draft him. The 2026 Carolina Panthers Draft: 2.21 – OG Shawn Bucci, Stanford, 45/75 3.31- TE Cornelius Bynum, Iowa, 35/44 4.8 - P Taylor Rosborough, Kansas State, 71/76 5.31 – DT Harris Northrop, Oklahoma, 35/43 6.31 – LT Adrian Wilder, Southern Mississippi, 24/38, 7.19 – QB Pierre Barnhart, Oklahoma, 37/50 Hopefully Bynum will grow as well very underrated Bucci too. Underrated by Northrop too and very by Wilder. Barnhart is bust insurance for Perron. See you at Late FA where I need to trade/cut Teller |
The 2026 NFL Late Free Agency:
Day 1 - I need to cut/trade Teller. I cut him no one wants to trade for him. I free up 7.34 cash. I also cut P Bojorquez and free 3.21 mill. I have free 21.57 cap, and signed 50. Any great value players I can offer to? No LSs in the rookie class came through. TE George Kittle – Age 32, 53/53, wants one year deal of 9.04, which I have with my freeing of P and OG. He WILL drop, but that patch would be nice. Will Bynum grow? I offer: DT Zion Logue – 3rd year, 46/54 – 3 years at min sal and 500k bonus DE Trumane Rossel – 2nd year, 30/50, three years min sal and 250k bonus I offer these UFAs three years and a bonus: ILB Giovanni Hart – 20/51 ILB Dashawn Cannon – 27/49 RB Winston Zartman – 38/43 DE Manny Jacobson – 19/49 – run and pass stopping CB Pat Sinnott – 27/47 – punt ret of 51/76 OC Harrison Velarde – 25/50 Do I offer Kittle? I have the cap space. But he’ll fall just like TE Oliver. Nope, I’ll keep the cash for post UFA singings for emergencies like injury subs. If he were younger and not falling, sure, a one year deal would be fine. Day 2 -Four players sign. DT Logue, Cannon, Velarde and Jacobson. I increase offers to DE Rossel, RB Zartman Day 3 – Zartman accepts his offer I increase ILB Hart’s offer 6 teams are chasing him Day 4 – ILB Hart signs. 2 left! Day 5 – They both sign! UFAs: ILB Giovanni Hart – 19/41 ILB Dashawn Cannon – 27/48 RB Winston Zartman – 39/42 DE Manny Jacobson – 20/49 – run and pass stopping CB Pat Sinnott – 27/45 – punt ret of 51/76 OC Harrison Velarde – 25/46 Big drop with Velarde, Hart, same by DE Jacobson, Ready for preseason? I hope so! |
The 2026 NFL Preseason:
I have signed 58 no need for cuts prior to games Week 2 – At San Francisco – A replay of the Super Bowl in their home! Uh oh…they smash-hammer us 30-3, but no injuries. Week 3 – LA Rams – We host them his time. We win low scoring defensively 13-7. No injuries, too Week 4 - At New York Giants – We head there and if we win we win our 3rd preseason of three. They smash hammered us more than the 49ers 14-43. No injuries though. Rookie Lookie #2: 2.21 – OG Shawn Bucci, Stanford, 45/75; 53/74 3.31- TE Cornelius Bynum, Iowa, 35/44; 40/47 4.8 - P Taylor Rosborough, Kansas State, 71/76; 68/70 5.31 – DT Harris Northrop, Oklahoma, 35/43; 41/49 6.31 – LT Adrian Wilder, Southern Mississippi, 24/38; 24/36 7.19 – QB Pierre Barnhart, Oklahoma, 37/50; 40/48 Bucci dropped just one. Modest growth by TE Bynum, fall by P Rosborough, nice rise by DT Northrop, drop b y Wilder not rise, sad, small fall by Barnhart not as great as rises as I’d hoped. Just a sad fall by Rosborough but overall not bad!!! UFAs: ILB Giovanni Hart – 19/41; 22/37 ILB Dashawn Cannon – 27/48; 31/43 RB Winston Zartman – 39/42; 41/45 DE Manny Jacobson – 20/49; 26/48 – run and pass stopping CB Pat Sinnott – 27/45; 30/39 – punt ret of 51/76 OC Harrison Velarde – 25/46; 29/40 - CUT Wow Hart…also a fall by Cannon. Nice rise by Zartman, big fall by Sinnott, and Velarde. I cut these five: TE Bird WR Hileman C Velarde ILB Reid DT Timmons Here’s my starting roster, with some good news… The 2026 Cleveland Browns ![]() As you can see, Perron rose, not fell to 75/77 so if this season is like last statistically, I’ll swap systems from smashmouth to more QB Friendly stuff, and I have two starting WRs in 50+. Kirk fell to 52/52 from 58/58,Jennings is still 58/58 and last year’s Chaplin still not SLOT Thrash is. Rookie TE Bynum will start, new signee FS Hellams is now 51/51 not 55 pot, sadly DE Okoronkwo fell to 45/45, FA signee C Brendel studly didn’t fall. Let’s look at our studly OG pick! ![]() Here he is! With a fall despite very underrated but a 53/74 guy after camp and preseason is solid. Then he’s got pot of 80 in run, 77 in pass blocking, 63 in the pancake making strength, and smart scheme acquisition. Great value where we snagged him! Can he be our Montano with HOF Career? Let’s get this year started!!! |
The 2026 NFL Regular Season:

We had two picks, one by Emerson the other by Ruble, FF by FS Hellams and WR Thrash on special teams, rec by OLB Bosch and CB Ruble, light 1 sack day since they weren’t chasing a lead, but it’s by Garrett, just two KRB sine we weren’t milking a lead. The 2026 NFL Playoffs:
Wild Card Weekend: Can we show up against the Bengals like we did last week? It’s very tough to beat a divisional rival three times in a year… Also making are the Broncos that beat us, Texans, Colts, Bills, and the big bad Chiefs. I am rooting for the Broncos at Houston since they are the #2 seed, and Colts over Bills. We win 24-10, not the blow out of before. Perron is 20 of 33 for 3:2 and 249, hitting Thrash, Oliver and Chubb for scores. no TOs, 1.5 sacks bY Garrett, s6 KRB by rookie Bucci, 3 by RT Pryor Also: Texans over Broncos 39-22 Bills over Colts 45-34 All home teams won, none of my hopes held so we are going to have to win this on the road from here on out. Cards over Rams 33-21 Cowboys over Bears 17-7 Eagles over Panthers 34-28 Two WC wins there, the two NFC East teams. We head to Houston Divisional Champ Weekend: I am rooting for the Bills at KC and us against the Texans so we can host the AFC Championship next win. One of those happens!!! But it’s not us. We lose 14-30. Perron is 25 of 39 for 225 and 2:0, scores by Oliver and Jennings, no TOs, 1 sack by Kus, that’s it, 3 KRB by OG Zinter Also: Buffalo won 20-12 over the Chiefs in a low scoring match Cards over Eagles 23-6 Giants over Cowboys 28-25 The Conference Championship: Texans over Bills 24-20 Giants over Cards 40-37 The 2026 NFL Super Bowl: If the Texans win today, that’d be their first win of a Super Bowl. This is their first appearance. They do win 42-35 shoot out. |

Rookie of the Year: P Taylor Rosborough – Tons of punts, but got me great field position and tons in the 20 too. Heart Award: DE Ogbonnia Okoronkwo – Dude just got All Pro after dropping to 45/45 from 54/54, and his pass rush is just 70 now. Not bad, but not All Pro good. He went from a long term rotation guy to owning that start!!! |
The 2027 NFL Offseason:
Retirements – Please don’t retire Garrett! We need to get you that Super Bowl!!!! He doesn’t and OC Rendel doesn’t either, but DT Tomlinson does. Just him. We get an achievement for best roster in the league. Our score is 56/100 TIX – We sold 100% and I massage our prices Staff Draft: We got to replace our OC in the Staff Draft; our AC Ventrone comes up next year. OC: Who do I like in non Smashmouth QB Friendly OCs? Brian Johnson – age 40, Air Coryell, QB – 90 playcalling, dis, smarts, 70 mot, 80 dev, 50 interviews, bad scouting and youth Chad Heitner – age 44, balanced, RB – 80 playcalling, dis, 70 in INT and scouting, 50 youth, bad interviews, mot and development Eric Suarez – age 42, RB, balanced – 80 playcalling, 70 youth, motivation, not really Jaylen Crosen – age 35, balanced – just one bad score in INT, 80 playcalling, dev, motivation, 70 interviews, 60 dis, 50 scouting and youth. I like Jaylen for balanced…is that far enough though? Terence Jarnagin – age 46, spread, QB – just one bad in INT too, 70 playcalling, 80 youth and60 scouting and dis, 80 mot, 50 interviews Jarnagin may be the best spread, but I’d prefer someone better at interviews than 50. I hire him. AC: I retain Ventrone Head Trainer: I hire a new one named Deron Mulhern age 50, with a 100 STR, 70 CON and INT too. The Amateur Draft is Revealed: I need a LT/RT, new RB for Zartman, although less needed with us spread, we have three 50s WRs for Spread, but a stud to push us in the draft would be great, I need a stud DT for retiring Tomlinson, although rotational 54/54 Logue is good at pass rushing like Okoronkwo. We are drafting 27th, but our 1.27 was traded for Perron. There is one clear QB 9.5 As Scouted in front named Jason Paramo, then another Hard to Read at 7.7 with less than amazing bars. Just one 6.2 RB, light, 5.9 TE named Landon Arellano with underrated, three 6.s WR, one 6.3 OG, tons of great LT/RT like normal, 5 in the 7.0s and 4 in 6.s four 6s DE, no plus 6 DTs, ouch, ditto ILB, ouch, OLB too, oucher, 5 CB 6s, 3 S. No 7s on offense. Tag: Free are Garrett who wanted too much to raise his cap, FS Hellams, with a one year deal, WR Kirk and LS Triner. I do like tagging Garrett although it’s 23.2 not bad for a two time Def Player of the Year and 75/75 DE. I tag Garrett See you in FA!!! |
The 2027 NFL Free Agency:
Day 1 – I have signed 46 and have cap space of 84.25 after tagging Garrett. This is our first year after the cap is freed from QB Deshawn Watson’s cap hit cut in year 2, and then others are gone. I have free and asking: LS Triner – Dropped to 54/54 with 58 long snapping, wants 3.18, two years, 1.49, done WR Kirk – Age 30, 52/52, wants 11.06 mill for 2 years, cap hit of 5.16 FS Hellams – 51/51, age 26, wants 3 years, 10.39 mill for 2.95 cap hit - done I let free OT Jones, SS Delpit, RB Chubb, Tagged: DE Garrett - Wants two year deal for 48.44 for a cap hit this year drop to 22.24, done Rookie Year Wanting Real Deal, I inherited the first Three: OG Zinter – Cap hit of 1.83, 70/70, wants 5 year deal at 60.09 mill, cap hit of 8.51 - done DT Logue - Cap hit of 1.32, 54/54, wants 4 years 14.11 for cap hit of 2.88, pass rush of 80 -done DT Hall – 55/55 cap hit of 2.25, pass and run stopping of 66. Wants 20.15 over 4 years, cap hit rise to 5.88, done SLB Bosch – 58/58 – UFA year 3, cap hit of 1.1 mill, wants one year extension of 6.21for cap rise to 2.73 good at run d and man to man and pass d, done. I didn’t inherit him, and signed him in the year of QB Perron, but I cannot sign UFAs for more than three years. CB Bullock – 53/55 – UFA, year three, cap hit of 1.1 wants three year deal of 11.55 for cap hit of 3.14 – I have three great ahead, he is my dimeback, not yet. Last Year of Deal of Note: FB Rankin – 64/64 – year 4, cap hit of 1.9, wants 4 years 7.6 cap hit of 2.18 raise done SS Epps – 57/57, year 9, age 31, cap hit of 3.45, wants extension of one year for real money of 19.71 to raise cap to 9.79. Nope too pricey for an older guy like him LT Wills – 51/51, year 8, age 27, cap hit of 3.99, wants real money extension of 2 years, 25.56 to raise to 12.003 Nope too pricey for a 51/51 LT with 22 run blocking RT Pryor – 47/47, age 32, 67 run blocking, cap hit of 4.43, wants 2 year 16.74 for cap hit of 8.79. nope MLB Gillespie – 58/58, age 29, cap hit of 5.38, wants extension to raise it to 18.83, nope WLB Owusu-Koramoah – 60/60, age 27, cap hit of 8.33 wants one year extension of 7.02 to raise to 9.39 since his salary was so heavy in cap, but next year of3.83, done DE Okoronkwo – Cap hit of 10.33, age 31, 45/45, wants one year extension of 13.45, drop cap hit to 7.99, done OC Brendel – 69/69, age 34, cap hit of 12.12, wants a one year extension of 23.26 to rise to13.98, I’ll wait until post draft I have free 68.27 cash. I still need in FA/Draft a better LS, TE, DE, FS, RT/LT, WR for Kirk, stud DT For Tomlinson, better RB than Zartman, next year is the rookie contract done of QB Perron in his 4th year, what does he want now? 208 for 5 years, cap rise to 38.12 from 11.83. I’ll wait to see how he is in the spread offense. I don’t want to spend that cash with his stats in the first two years. I’ll need to keep cash free. And I can do 5th year extension next year too. Day 2 – There is no LS with a better long snapping WR: WR Amon-Re St. Brown – 64/64 – year 7, age 27, wants 3 years of 45.16, cap hit of 12.59 mill, best WR in FA RB: RB Tyjae Spears – 58/58, age of 25, wants 3 year 30.69 mill deal with a cap hit of 8.62 RB Dameon Pierce – 56/56 – age of 27, wants 2 year deal for a total of 6.69, 3.31 mill this year Spears is much more pricey, but a little better and two years younger makes him worth for cap-free teams. Pierce is cheap but old and likely to bust. TE: TE Cade Otten – 59/59, year 6, age 27 – Wants 39.94 mil over three years for a cap hit this year of 11.01. TE Trey McBride - 50/50, age 27 –wants two years at 6.3, cap hit of 2.91 DT: DT Keondre Coburn = 68/68 - year 5, age 26, wants 4 year deal for 51.99 cap hit of 9.72. Pass rush of 72, run stopping too, the best DT in FA DT Soloman Thomas – 65/65, age 31 – pass rush of 89, wants two year budget deal of 8.45, cap hit of 3.97 DT John Ridgway – 55/55, age 27, pass rush of 98. 11.22 for 3 years, and us cap hit o f3.12 Thomas will likely bust, but 65/65 down to 50s is still fine. DT Coburn is great since he’s young and likely not to fall for a while. DE: DE Demarcus Walker – 71/71, age 32, wants two year deal at 25.12 for cap hit this year of 11.55, pass rush of 85 and str too Walker is a nice DE patch until he retires in a couple of years. DE Samson Ebukam – 59/59, pass rush of 83, 70 str, age 31, wants cap friendly 6.56 two years cap hit of 3.11 Nice backup cheap option. If I offer St. Brown 13 mill that leaves me 42 mill. TE Otten at 11.5 leaves me 30 mill, DT Coburn 10.25 19 mill, and that would leave me 9 mill cash for RB Spears, or Walker/Ebukam too. Also coming free next year as a rookie in addition to QB Perron are SLB Kus and CB Ruble…and I need the cap for all three, since one is QB, one is All Pro and the other is a threat to at 92 picks on a 70/70 body and 71/71 Kus. Three in their 70s from one draft. I cannot spend too much, when there are needs there. So, yeah, with 58 mill in FA leaving 10 for post-FA, I could sign pretty much the best from all of these spots, I need that cash for next year’s three rookie extensions. As, a counter example, if I offered RB Pierce 4.25, Amon-Ra 13 mil still, TE McBride 3.75, DT Thomas 4.75 even though he’ll likely bust after preseason and none at DE since I have Garrett/Okoronkwo, or DE Ebukam for rotation at 3.75 that’s a total spent prior to Ebukam of 25.75, out of 68.27 leaving 42.52 for next year’s cap for my big three. Or swap Coburn for 2 year temp older stamp for another 5.5 mill. I have signed 48. Heading into the draft, if I offered them, what could I draft feasibly early as starters? LT/RT, FS, DT stud for I start two, WR stud for SLOT if I sign St . Brown, stud RB if Pierce, and TE for McBride. I need a stud WR for Kirk, and if he signed, St. Brown would be my first 60s or higher skill player not QB for us. I don’t need DE or RB as much, DE since I have four and RB since I am Spread now. I just need one, since Chubb is leaving, but they should be better than Zartman. We saw how bad he was last year. Do I draft an RB or sign one that’s in their 50s. Pierce or Spears? I don’t need TE as much either since I have three, but Otten/McBride would each be the starter now. I could cut TE Oliver, 41/41 age 30, and save 2.81 mill. He’s my 3rd one. I am not going to offer TE or DE. Normally I would, but I need that cap space. That leaves RB, WR, and DT. I do offer St. Brown, he’s the stud I need to unlock spread and Perron hopefully, and he’s my first pricey WR I’ll bring in after the budgets of Kirk and Jennings. I need him, and will offer 13.25 a little more, in order to snag him. RB? I could go either way here. Both are good, one is better and youngers by a couple of years. Spears the pricey 58/58 at 8.62 is about what you’d pay for this level of ability and youth. Pierce the cheaper two years older 56/56 is likely to bust now, but cheap as all up and down. I feel like Pierce isn’t good value age wise, but is fiscally wise. I could skip this altogether and draft/UFA RB. I’ll feel stupid signing Spears and then a good RB falls to us in the 2nd. Spears is tied for the 11th best RB. I offer Spears 9.15 DT? I need this for retiring Tomlinson. I love Coburn here, he’s a stud and I need to invest in my DLine since I am the Browns and I am missing a 1st and if I sign him I can draft stud in the future that falls to me for my mid 50s stuff. Corburn isn’t the best pass rusher, but 72 is fine, and he wants 9.72 cap, I offer 10.25 That’s it. Day 4 - DT Coburn signs. Day 5 - Many chasing Amon-Re St. Brown I increase the bonus by one mill and this year salary by a bunch to 16.92, but next year just 17.09. Day 6 – He signs with us Day 10 – RB Spears signs with us. We have left 31.95 mill cash and then signed 51 see you at the draft!!! |
The 2027 NFL Amateur Draft:
We traded our 1st for QB Perron. This is my final trade, next year we’ll have our 1sts again. We need starter RT/LT, OC for Brendel, starter quality TE, backup RT if I don’t draft starter, FS starter or backup, 2nd Round – Our pick arrives and my staff like RT Deshaun Emmons, a 5.9 overrated. Nope! Also on the board is LT very underrated 5.9 Dave Dent. He would need to grow to start for LT Wills. 6.1 DE as scouted Zuidema is very strong at pass rush; LT 5.7 Alvarez is As Scouted and better bars and blocking strength specialist. The growth potential but not as strong bars of Dent or as scouted but a bit better bars of Alvarez. Dent is best at scheme acquisition. Neither are great picks here. I do Alvarez who is the better run/pass blocker. 3rd Round – The 27th pick is here! We are picking and my staff like DE Ivan Benedetto who is 5.9, top one on the board, overrated. QB 6.0 very underrated PJ Ceniceros is the last 6+ dude left. Do I grab him as my primary QB backup for Perron? I don’t want to waste a draft pick this high. RT Archie is as scouted and 5.7, very underrated TE Maquis Reese? SS Davion Blythe at 4.8 as scouted? I do TE Reese. 4th Round – Our 4.26 arrives! My staff here like DE Coby Oelslagher who is 5.3 and overrated. Above him at 5.4 is as scouted DE Kennedy Fast. I grab him, he’s good at diagnosis. 5th Round – My staff here at 5.27 like WR Mohammed Margotta who is 4.9 and hard to read. Also at 4.9 is very underrated WR Hardy Honeycutt. I snag the project of Honeycutt. 6th Round – Here at the 26th pick my staff like WR Jamison Cottell but we just took Honeycutt. I grab the top RT on the board who is very underrated named Bob Sutton at 4.9. 7th Round – Here my staff like WR Corbin Ostman. I like grabbing the best S on the board. That’s underrated 4.1 Caiden Styron. We have a comp pick at 7.40, my staff here like WR Benjamin Welliver. I take very underrated OC Donte Garson, The 2027 Carolina Panthers Draft: 2.26 – LT Tommy Alvarez, Arkansas – Pine Bluff, 25/54 3.27 – TE Marquise Reese, Mississippi State, 28/45 4.26 – DE Kennedy Fast, North Carolina, 31/52 5.27 – WR Hardy Honeycutt ,Toledo, 23/40 6.26 – RT Bob Sutton, Vanderbilt, 16/34 7.27 – SS Caiden Styron, Vanderbilt, 33/42 7.40 – C Donte Garson, Arizona State, 22/42, There we are!!! We will need Reese to hit and grow. Ditto Honeycutt and Sutton and Stryon and Garson. Not a great draft. |
The 2027 Late Free Agency:
I have 58 players on my roster and cap space of 31.95 Day 1 - I extend OC Brendel post draft since I didn’t find a replacement here or good UFAs here that fell too. I offer these UFAs with three year deals and bonuses: DE Kyler Christensen – 37/54; pass rush str and run stopping DEE OG Jamar Agredano – 16/50 – run blocking specialist DE Neil Kalk – 29/50 – well rounded FS Ramon Trice – 24/43 – special teams and PR returner Day 2 – I sign Christensen! Day 3 – Naik and Agredano sign Day 4 – Trice does too! UFAs: DE Kyler Christensen – 37/50; pass rush str and run stopping DE OG Jamar Agredano – 16/45 – run blocking specialist DE Neil Kalk – 28/44 – well rounded FS Ramon Trice – 23/39 – special teams and PR returner Everyone fell in pots lots I head to preseason!!! |

We lose 13-30, no injuries Week 4 – NY Giants – We host NY! We win 30-26 and no injuries Rookie Lookie #2: 2.26 – LT Tommy Alvarez, Arkansas – Pine Bluff, 25/54; 30/61 3.27 – TE Marquise Reese, Mississippi State, 28/45; 31/42 4.26 – DE Kennedy Fast, North Carolina, 31/52; 36/54 5.27 – WR Hardy Honeycutt ,Toledo, 23/40; 25/37 6.26 – RT Bob Sutton, Vanderbilt, 16/34; 18/31 7.27 – SS Caiden Styron, Vanderbilt, 33/42; 38/46 7.40 – C Donte Garson, Arizona State, 22/42; 26/39, CUT Nice boom Tommy!!! Bad way to go Reese. Nice growth Fast. Bad way to go Honeycutt and Sutton for underrated and very. Ditto Garson. UFAs: DE Kyler Christensen – 37/50; 39/50; pass rush str and run stopping DE OG Jamar Agredano – 16/45; 19/37 – run blocking specialist DE Neil Kalk – 28/44; 31/38 – well rounded; CUT FS Ramon Trice – 23/39; 26/34, CUT I cut 7: I try to trade LT Wills, no one wants, I cut FS Trice DE Kalk DE Rossel C Garson WR Jeudy FS Thornhill Here’s my starting roster! The 2027 Carolina Panthers ![]() New signee RB Spears busted to 43/43. Zartman starting again. Him and TE Bynum starting, as well as RT Taylor at 45/45 under 50. That’s it not a rookie with 50+ pot like LT Alvarez or DE Christensen. DE Okorongwe fell to 35/35. New signee DT Coburn fell to 59/59 not great, we’ll to chase replacements for Coburn and Spears since they were pricey. Sophomore OG Buccci fell to 66/66. SS Epps dropped to 52/52. Here's my one decent draftee: ![]() Here’s the booming 30/61 green LT! He’s studly in strength, and strong in run block, and scheming, but just okay at pass block. I head to the season!!! |

The 2027 AFC North: Cleveland Browns, 14-3, Won, #1 Seed Cincinnati Bengals, 10-7, missed WC after tying with KC. Pittsburgh Steelers, 5-12 Baltimore Ravens – 3-14 I am not sure if I like that the Bengals failed to make it past the 10-7 Chiefs or not. |
The 2027 NFL Playoffs:
Wild Card Weekend: I am rooting for Chargers at home vs the Tua led Dolphins, Titans on the road vs the Bills, and I don’t want to play either the Chiefs or the Texans next week. Rookie Lookie #3: 2.26 – LT Tommy Alvarez, Arkansas – Pine Bluff, 25/54; 30/61; 41/61 3.27 – TE Marquise Reese, Mississippi State, 28/45; 31/42; 34/42 4.26 – DE Kennedy Fast, North Carolina, 31/52; 36/54; 53/53 5.27 – WR Hardy Honeycutt ,Toledo, 23/40; 25/37; 29/37 6.26 – RT Bob Sutton, Vanderbilt, 16/34; 18/31; 18/31 7.27 – SS Caiden Styron, Vanderbilt, 33/42; 38/46; 42/46 7.40 – C Donte Garson, Arizona State, 22/42; 26/39, CUT Good growth in current ability Alvarez!!! UFAs: DE Kyler Christensen – 37/50; 39/50; 47/50, pass rush str and run stopping DE OG Jamar Agredano – 16/45; 19/37; 19/37 – run blocking specialist DE Neil Kalk – 28/44; 31/38 – well rounded; CUT FS Ramon Trice – 23/39; 26/34, CUT Nice rotational growth Christensen! Stats: Throwing that Ball: QB Perron – 327 of 491, for 3592; 34:5. 106.9 QBR Not greet. There are…12 players with 4k+ seasons and two with 5k. Are we still in Smashmouth or did we update the playbook if not? Rough. Perron is the 4th best QB in the league at 77/77, we’ve got to unlock that power. I’ll check and see if we updated the playbook in preseason. Running that Ball: RB Zartman – 285 for 1290 – 4th most; ypc of 4.53, scores of 6 QB Perron – 142 for 781 yards, 5 scores RB Spears – 172 for 776 and 5 scores But this was very nice this year with more than 2750 yards from my top three rushers. Catching that Ball: WR St. Brown – 91 for 1180, 11 scores, 19th best by yards, tied for 5th best in scores WR Jennings – 81 for 989, 10 scores TE Bynum – 26 for 364 and 4 scores FB Rankin – 33 for 356 and 3 scores There always seems to be one stud each year of Perron to net around 1200 yards, Kirk, Jennings and St. Brown. Great year for him and Rankin, but Bynum was rough. Blocking that Ball: C Brendel – 66 KRB, 10 pancakes, 7 sacks allowed – 3rd best year 2nd best OC OG Zinter – 59 KRb, 11 pancakes, 4 sacks allowed – 2nd best for Ogs. OG Bucci – 48 KRB, 2 pancakes, 2 sacks allowed – tied for 5th best Ogs KRB, but was very strong in sacks allowed. RT Pryor – 26 KRB, 1 and 11 sacks allowed Great All Pro year for my interior lineman. I do wanna mention how hard is for an C to chart, since only two do, vs four for OGs and OT, and since they get so many KROs it’s harder to do well. And we got HALF of the All Pro OG Spots from my roster, strong stuff. All charted here! LT Alvarez did allow 15 sacks…but a rookie LT will get rushed a lot by DCs. But his pass rush is 50, he’ll never be good there. Kicking that Ball: K Hatley – 29 of 31, long of 43, 54 of 55 PAT Again, strong season! Just 2 missed FGs and one PAT Punting that Ball: P Rosborough – 75 punts for net of 42.51, 35 in the 20 Just a few shy of half in the 20! Nasty! Returning that Ball: CB/KR - Dickerson – 1 KR RET TD Rushing that Ball: DE Garrett – 12.5 sacks, 2 TFL, 10 blocks, 14 hurries, 15 QBKN, 3 FF DT Hall – 9.5 sacks, 5 TFL, 2 blocks, 8 hurries, 12 QBKN, 3 FF DE Fast – 9.5 sacks, 1 block, 9 hurries, 12 QBKn, 3 Fumrec, 1 for TD SLB Kus – 7 sacks, 5 TFL, 1 block, 14 hurries, 10 QBKn, 3 F,F, 2 FumRec DT Logue – 5.5 sacks, 2TFL, 1 block,4 hurries, 6 QBKD, 1 FumREc TD, DE Christiansen – 5.0 sacks, 3 blocks, 2 hurries, 5 QBKD WLB Owusu-Koramoah – 4.5 sacks, 2 TFL, 1 lock, 2 hurries, 4 QBKD MLB Gillespie, 3.5, 9 TFL, 6 hurries, 3 QBKD Garrett is 2 sacks behind league leader, and 4th best DE in sacks DT Hall was tied with the most sacks for a DT in the league. Garrett led our team in blocks, tied with Kus on hurries and QBKN, and Gillespie in TFL, Strong rookie year starting Fast! Good year with the pass rushing. Covering that Ball: SS Epps, 3 picks, 10 pas def, 4 FF, 3 Fumrec, 2 for TDs CB Ruble - 2 picks, 10 pasdef, 2 FF CB Emerson – 0 and15 pasdef Down year in picks. Many of my TOs were fumbles recovered. Epps led in FF. Team Awards: Offensive Player of the Year: OG Zak Zinter – Won his first All Pro, was 2nd in the league at his position for KRB, just had a massive 11 pancakes, allowed 4 sacks, his fewest. Great job Zinter!!! Defensive Player of the Year: DT Michael Hall – This guy just led all DTs in sacks in his fourth year for us. Great job!!! Special Teams Player of the Year: K Brandin Hatley – This guy continues to miss little, but since he’s not a great leg, just accuracy, we could use a better long. Rookie of the Year: DE Kennedy Fast – This guy was rushed into starting due to the fall of my DE and grabbed me 9.5 sacks. Great job rookie!!! Heart Award: FB Khalil Rankin - This guy just got 5 KRB, 1 behind the league leader, led all FBs with 180 yards and scores by 1! Love him! We’ll need to make sure the playbook got updated at the preseason to win again next year… |
The 2028 NFL Offseason:
Retirements - I start with 53 on my rooster the 11th year vets are C Brendel, DE Garrett,10th year are RT Pryor and DE Okoronkwo. Our sole 9th is SS Epps. Will any retire? I am not wedded to Pryor and Okoronkwo but I’d love to keep Garrett and Brendel who just had All Pro years. Everyone returns, they want another Super Bowl!!! Stadium Stuff - Do I want to try and build another Stadium? I am just selling 100 boxes, but my stadium size is just 67,431, pretty small. Only 9 teams are smaller. I do it. I order max stadium size of 87,500 folks and 150 luxury boxes like now. Do I want open air and turf or closed stadium and grass like the Vikings? I want open air and grass. I want the outdoors cold effect. The cost is $1,864,280,000 and we’ll pay half. We sold out but it looks like there is an issue happening and we are recommended by our Accountant to lower, so we do. We score 75. Staff Draft: Up next year are Head Coach Teryl Austin and DC Rodrigo Willis. Austin doesn’t want to redo his deal. He’ll leave next year. Our spread OC was hired as the Head Coach of the Eagles. Do I want to hire Austin’s replacement this year? Yup Head Coach: Adam Stanovich - Age 45, Green Bay OC, just one bad stat interviewing, OL cares, 90 playcalling, scouting, 80 INT , 70 disciple and motivation, 60 youth and player dev I hire him. OC: I need to do this again. This time the pickings are fewer… Spread: Alejandro Harris – age 48, cares about RB, 70 playcalling; dev, 80 motivation, 50 youth and smarts, bad scouting, interviews and discipline. Harris is the ONLY 70+ playcalling spread OC that’s hirable Wyatt Jun – age 53, cares about WR, 60 playcalling, interviews, 80 scouting, 50 dis and youth, bad mot, youth and smarts. Good scouting and okay interviews Dashawn McCaleb – age 41, RB, 60 playcalling, discipline, scouting, 70 dev, INT, 80 motivation, bad interviews and Youth. Okay scouting, bad interviews, but stats are strong elsewhere save 60 playcalling Air Coryell: Kevin Patullo – age 46, QB, Eagles AC, 80 playcalling, scouting, 60 discipline, 50 interviews, player dev, and bad in youth, INT and motivation – 80 playcalling, stud scouting and okay interviews. Not great elsewhere Deshaun Saldivar – age 40, OL, 80 playcalling, 70 youth, 60 dev, dis, INT 50 mov, just bad scouting and interviews That’s it. Wyatt Jun is just okay at playcalling, and interviews but a stud at scouting, but bad in three places, and just 60s and 50s, no stronger stuff, Harris is the best playcalling with bad interviews and scouting in spread. McCaleb an okay play caller, smart as a rock, just two bad scores, but one is interviews. Patullo stud playcaller in Air Coryell, and scouting, okay interviews, but bad in three things including Smarts, and just 50s for the good stuff rather than higher. Saldivar an 80 playcalling sure, but the bad scouting and interviews scare me. Only Jun and Patullo are good at playcalling and scouting and interviews. I hire Patullo the best playcaller out there. We’ll shift to Air Coryell. DC: I retain DC Willis The Rookie Draft is Revealed: I am picking 1.32. We have first rounders again. This is a one QB 8.4 Hard to Read Freddy Kata at the top. I will need DE for Okoronkwo after cutting, DT for the falling Cobern, FS for Hallems, RB for Spears, starting TE, RT for Pryor who finished his deal, MLB for Gillespie who was too pricey, ditto SS Epps, who is there? Just four 6’s RBs, no 7.s at TE 5.5 and 5.4 and 5.3, just two low 6.0s WRs, 6.5 Center, no Ogs, one 7.5 RT and the rest are 3 6.0s, 7.5 and 7.2 Des, studs, and then 7 6s, one 7.5 DT, 4 mid 6.s one 6.7 ILB, two low 7s for OLB at 7.3 and 7.1, 6.2 that’s it, 7.9 CB, a trio of 6s, one 7.3 S, none more than 5.7. I need to cut RB Spears and DE Okoronkwo; Preseason: Check playbook Tag – Coming free at 50+ are CB Bullock, SS Epps, ILB Gillespie, and that’s it. I don’t tag any. |
The 2028 NFL Free Agency:
Day 1 - I have signed 41 and cap space of 69.37 mill I cash, needing 10 mil free, so 59 mill for stuff. I need to cut RB Spears and DE Okoronkwo; RB Spears was signed last year and busted, and then DE Okoronkwo dropped in ability to 35/35. I cut them both, and have free cap space of 83.76. I have these free, and what they want: MLB Gillespie – year 8, 58/58, age 30, wants 71.58 mill over 3 years, nope! SS Epps – year 10, age 32, 52/52, wants 20 mill, 2 years, nope RT Pryor – year 11, age 33, 45/45, wants 7.10, two years, cap hit of 3.56 CB Bullock – year 4, age 25, 55/55, wants 2 years at 7.95. I will let go CB Harden and Bullock, QB Ansara, FL Thrash, TE Torain, WLB Watson, C Hogg, OG Gaziano, RB Ballou, Let’s do the Big Stuff First! Rookies in the last year of their deal: QB Perron – Cap hit of 13.57, wants 199.48 to raise cap hit to 36.6. Done. CB Ian Ruble – 69/69 – cap hit of 1.53, wants three year deal of 39.9 mill, cap hit of 10.64. Done. SLB Kus – 70/70 – two All Pros, cap hit of 3.23, wants 132.33 mill for 5 years, cap hit rise to 19.89, done. K Hatley – 68/68, cap hit of 1.73, wants a big deal at 5 years, 33.36 cap hit rise to 5.07. Done CB/KR Dickerson – 63/63, cap hit of 1.83, wants 37.2 deal over 3 years, cap hit rise to 10.24. Nope, too pricey, cheaper? Yes. WR Chaplin – 51/51, cap hit of s1.57, wants 3 year 15.79 deal to raise to 4.4. Done Should I sign Bullock and trade Dickerson as my primary nickelback? What could I trade him for? Phily will offer a 7.32 this year, and 2nd and 4th round in 2030. Done. Final Year of Deal: C Brendel – cap hit of 12.66, wants one year extension to rise to 24.24 to cap hit of 14.85. Nope. I’ll wait until post draft to see if I can grab a perma-better player. DE Garrett – cap hit of 26.20 wants extension at 33.19, drop to 21.33. Done WR Jennings – 57/57, age 30 – cap hit 8.09, wants 27.24 mill over two years for cap hit rise to 14.24, nope WLB Owusu-Koramoah – 61/61, age 28, cap hit of 3.83, wants one year of 6.73 to 3.69, done SLB Bosch – 58/58 - age 26, cap hit of 3.41, wants 3 year deal at 10.48, cap hit fallish to 3.28 – done DE Jacobson - 32/48, age 23, cap hit of 1.15, I extend for one year at minsal I extend LS Triner, and sign RT Pryor. I have signed 40, and have free cap space for 29.43, enough for 19. Day 2 - I can use new LS with a better than 58 long snapping, MLB for Gillespie, SS for Epps, another DT for busting Coburn, RB for Spears, starting TE. DT: DT McKinney Jackson – 5th year, 67/67, age of 26, pass rush of 99, wants just 11.40 mill for 3 years, cap hit of 3.19. DT T’vondre Sweat – 5th year, age 26, 67/67, more well rounded, 72 pass and run stopping, wants 16.55 four year deal, 3.28 cap hit Wow those are cheap, I could sign Jackson and cut Coburn and SAVE money. Both singed are cheaper than him. RB: RB Brian Robinson – 61/61,age 29, wants 29.9 mill deal for three years, cap hit of 8.4. This was the guy I got after RB Taylor dropped and retired from the Panthers. Do I want to invest that cash? RB Saquan Barkley – 59/59, age 31, wants a fast and cheap one year deal of 3.77 RB Kenneth Walker – 57/57, age 27, wants 2 years, 7.75, cap hit of 3.51. I know that’s Barkley and Robinson are likely busts due to age, and Walker might too. TE: TE Adam Trautman – 55/55, age 31, wants just 6.93 over two years for a cap hit this one of 3.28. two All Pros, cheap option patch likely to drop. LS: LS Christian Kuntz – age of 33, long snapping of 64/64, a bit better than my 58/58. SS: SS Kamren Curl – 60/60, age 28, wants 31.3 over three years for 8.84 this year. He is the best youngish, SS. He’ll possibly bust as soon as he signs. SS Jerry Legins – 55/55, age 25, wants three year deal of 30.80 for a cap hit of 8.17 the best younger mid 20s guy, roughly the same cap hit. There are no budget SS options. If I offered Legins 8.75, TE Trautman 3.75, Walker 4 mill, that’s 16.5, DT Jackson 4 mill 20.5, so then if Jackson signed I could cut Cobern and save 11.73 cash to get me to around 20 mill, another 10 mill for cap space. Should I offer DT Sweat too, and then cut Hall for who is just 72 pass rush and benefits from lining up with the heavily chased Garrett? Nope, Could I aim for a better DE than Fast’s 64 who started there last year as a rookie? I could cut Cobern now and chase a good DE with my other 10 mill in space. DE: DE Kayvon Thibodaux – age 27, 71/71, wants 3 years, 38 mill, cap hit of 10.67, I could offer 11.25 mill for my cap hit space. Young, great at run stopping, less of a pass rush stopping fiend. DE Marshawn Kneeland – age 26, 70/70, pass rush of 83, str of 73 and run stopping of 76. Wants three year deal at 41.28, cap hit this year of 11.14, I could offer him 12 mill, a bit younger, and better at what I need, and would really push our sacks back to where we were with DT Tomlinson, and DE Smith too in the high 60s. 2 All Pros. DE Isaiah Loudermilk - 67/67, age 30, wants just two years at 8.03 cap hit of 3.72, pass rush of 83, run stopping of 96. Wow is Loudermilk a cheap, older, patch until Garrett retires in a year or two when his deal will end. He’ll fall, sure, but that’s cheap. I could offer Loudermilk now and cut Cobern after singing DT Jackson, but I love DE Kneeland too much, and that’s pretty cheap for a 70/70 young guy. I cut Cobern, and offer Kneeland and everyone else. I like Kneeland since he’ll be around after Garrett retires and isn’t just a patch, Day 4 - DE Kneeland signs! Let’s bring that Brown out to Cleveland!! Should I cut DE Jacobsen? Yes! Day 5 – DT Jackson signs, yay!! Day 7 – RB Walker signs!!! Day 11 - Someone offers me a trade, it’s the Rams, they want St. Brown and are offering a pair of 4ths. No thanks. A first? A pair of 2nd. Maybe, but mid draft picks? Not really… Day 12 – Signing today are SS Legins and TE Trautman. That’s everyone, I have left on my cap 9.81 for post-draft FA! I have signed 44, see you at the draft!!! |
The 2028 NFL Amateur Draft:
Here I need a backup QB, RB, better longer term non-patch TE, RT, starting ILB for Gillespie< FS for Hellams, LS for Triner late if there is a good one, one backup at OC, one backup CB, SS for Legins not 55/55 and is on cheap patch, backup OG, WR, backup LB. 1st Round – Picked 1st is stud DE Perrera. QB Hard to read Kata heads to Raiders at 1.2. Our 1st round arrives. Who is left? We have no 7.0 studs left. My staff like SS Will Kennedy who is 5.6 three above the next one at 5.3, and very underrated! Tempting, and not bad overall, but I have a trade offer from the Commanders for this, and their 2/4 and 6/3 this year and 4 in 2030. If that future were a 2nd round in two year sure, but we are only dropping five spots and picking up two picks. I think about it. Also here are 6.7 ILB AJ Yang who looks nasty good but is overrated for Gillespie, 6.2 hard to read RT Devon Coolidge, not great bars. TE Rashad Christianson is 5.4 hard to read and 5.3 underrated Moises Kuhn. I do Kuhn sorry traders and Kennedy is great but a stud underrated TE? Gotta go for…he’s also a nearby alumni from Ohio, maybe good karma there. 2nd Round – Can I trade up for SS Kennedy or will he fall to us in the 2nd at the end? He is taken at 2.1 I cannot get him near me. Maybe that’s who the Commanders were trading up to snag…who is here? My staff like 5.3 S Steven Julian, as scouted. ILB Yang and RT Coolidge off, who was pass block specialist. All 6.0 players are gone. RB 5.9 very underrated RB Block? RT Hartz very underrated 5.8? 5.8 as scouted SILB Elias Montano? Montano is just okay at everything. I need ILB, but I need a backup RB and Block’s very underrated and good bars are great too. Block backup need, who could become my starter after growth, or SILB Montano a position of need, but not amazing at it. I don’t need RB, although I do need backup there. I do need a starter at ILB. Since Block is the top Rb and player on the board and Montano is the 3rd best ILB, I go with Block. Maybe Montano will fall or I can trade up in the 3rd. 3rd Round – I feel that he’ll go early 20s since he is the top ILB now at 3.16 and then the top player at 3.22. for 3.22, the Cardinals want 4.32, my future 4th from 2029, the Eagles from 2030, and do I want to lose three fourths for this guy? I just figured it’d be my current 3rd and a future 3rd. This guy is just okay, not amazing at anything. He won’t knock down walls. He’s not Kus. I do it. I draft him. 3.32 - Who do I like here? My staff like WR Israel Stegell, who is 5.3, and very underrated. I do need a backup. What about LS? Have any been taken yet? Nope, one stud, but he’s overrated. I still need backup WR, OG, OC, LB, starter FS/backup, backup CB, starting RT, but not backup. Also on the board are 5.5 As Scouted CB Dean, 5.4 as scouted CB Verdell, FS Evan Zawacki, underrated 4.9, CB Clarke, 5.2, underrated, Zawacki or Wr Hargett , both are very underrated and need to grow to goodness. I like a WR here I can grow into a starter for the leaving Jennings. This is his last year with us. I like a starter potential FS too with Zawacki, I don’t have a 4th, so they won’t fall. WR or FS? I need more players at secondary, but none would start unless they grew into it, since my FS is 50/50 and SLOT WR is 51/51. I do Zawacki. 6th Round – My staff here like OC Oscar Rhimes who is 4.4 and hard to read, nope. Hard to read 5.3 OG Seligman? OLB Darian Anaya, As Scouted? Done. 7th Round – OC Rhimes still on the board, okay. The 2028 Cleveland Browns Draft: 1.32 – TE Moises Kuhn, Youngstown State, 46/66 2.32 – RB Louie Block, Cincinnati, 44/52 3.22 - SILB Elias Montano, Wisconsin, 37/55 3.32 – FS Evan Zawacki, Iowa, 33/46 6.32 – WLB Darian Anaya, Mississippi State, 36/58 7.32 – OC Oscar Rhimes, Alabama, 19/40 Remember Kuhn is underrated; and Block very much so, but Zawacki just underrated. |

The 2028 NFL Preseason:
I checked the playbook it’s Air Coryell. I have 56 on my roster, and just free 1.1 mill after signing 7. Week 2 – Carolina – We host the Super Bowl again, just like the 49ers in the past two. This time we host though. We…lose a one point game 29-28. No injuries Week 3 – At Green Bay – We lose a close one 17-20. No injuries Week 4 - At Atlanta – We thump them 34-7. No injuries! Rookie Lookie #2: 1.32 – TE Moises Kuhn, Youngstown State, 46/66; 50/64 2.32 – RB Louie Block, Cincinnati, 44/52; 45/49 3.22 - SILB Elias Montano, Wisconsin, 37/55; 45/61 3.32 – FS Evan Zawacki, Iowa, 33/46; 42/53 6.32 – WLB Darian Anaya, Mississippi State, 36/58; 41/59 7.32 – OC Oscar Rhimes, Alabama, 19/40; 25/41; CUT Not much current growth by Kuhn. Block falls, not grows. Hello Montano! That makes him worth the trade! Zawicki rose as expected. No fall by Anaya, or Rhimes. UFAs: QB Quentin Bodnar – 27/45; 29/40 ILB Henry Zuniga – 30/55; 36/57 ILB Rashod Rasmussen – 29/51; 34/49; CUT CB Chris Salmon – 20/49; 31/45 OC Bubba Nyland – 20/49; 27/47 OG Roberto Hisle – 19/48; 24/51 WR Alonzo Kimble – 29/40; 31/38 Big fall by Bodnar, hello Zuniga!! Nice rise by OG Higle. I need to cut some fat off: I cut these three: OC Rhimes ILB Rasmussen TE Trautman Here’s my roster! The 2028 Cleveland Browns: ![]() New signee RB Walker fell to 47/47 and RB Block busted not rose, so Walker starts. RT Pryor busted to 40/40 from 45/45.DE Garrett dropped to 60/60. New signee DT Jackson at 60/60 not starting over DT Logue, but he is for everything save for base 2 WR and goal line. All of my other non-Pryor and Walker busts are with a 50+ current or potential. Here’s my TE rookie at the back end of the 1st round! ![]() This guy is a 50/64 body! He’s strong at strength, pass blocking and route running, good at hands, adjusting to the ball, in the 50s, 60s securing the ball, jammers, and run bock and then bad at speed, blitz pickup, catching in traffic and endurance. If he develops to 64/64, he’ll be the 7th best in the league. ![]() Here’s my 3rd round trade up that boomed into a nice starter, which makes him worth it all up and down the block after growing. Again, he’s not studly in anything nor bad in them either, just okay and well rounded everywhere. I’m ready for the 5th year in this dynasty! |

Emerson led our team in pasdef too. Great year for nickelback Bullock!! Montano has the 3rd highest pasdef! Good year folks, statistically, offensively and defensively! Now let’s win that 2nd Super Bowl!!! Rookie Lookie #3: 1.32 – TE Moises Kuhn, Youngstown State, 46/66; 50/64; 57/64 2.32 – RB Louie Block, Cincinnati, 44/52; 45/49; 46/49 3.22 - SILB Elias Montano, Wisconsin, 37/55; 45/61; 58/58 3.32 – FS Evan Zawacki, Iowa, 33/46; 42/53; 50/53 6.32 – WLB Darian Anaya, Mississippi State, 36/58; 41/59; 41/59 7.32 – OC Oscar Rhimes, Alabama, 19/40; 25/41; CUT Slight fall in pot by Montano. Can we win our 2nd Super Bowl? |
The 2029 NFL Offseason:
Retirements: 12 year vets C Brendel, DE Garrett, 11th year RT Taylor, no 10th, 9th year WR Jennings and LS Triner. I hit the end of the year button, and…Garrett retires….sad…I hope to see you in the HOF in 5 years!! We won you that Super Bowl! He is the only one to head out, I was hoping RT Taylor would too. I score a 55. Stadium Stuff: Our new stadium opens in ’33 - Our TIX sold out, I keep them there! Staff Draft: No one needs to be signed or extended. I hire none The Rookie Draft Revealed: Do we need a RB starter after our RB fell but still posted a strong statline? It has a one QB near the top, overrated, 7.8 Kaden Goering. Then at 8.0 is a RB named JD Odom at underrated, also 7.1 RB Underrated McMichael is there too! I need to draft a stud DE for Garrett, and there is a DE 7.9 hard to read Jaiden Consiglio, 7.8 DE Moore is as scouted and 7.5 DE Wentworth is underrated! Three 7.0 studs, RT 7.6 Eklund at underrated for Taylor, OLB 7.1 is there too, 7.2 DT and that’s 10 7.0+ dorks. Four QBs in the 6s, just one 6.7 RB, FOUR TEs in the 6….This is a deep draft for them, for replacing Jennings in the draft we have 6.9 then two low 6s and that’s it. One 6.9 G, that’s it, 6 6.s Ots, LS Zane Bryant seems studly, as scouted, at DE outside of the 7.0s, we have four 6s, just two 6s at DT, 3 6s ILB, 2 OLB, two low 6s at CB, one underrated 6.8 S named Peebles. Do I trade up for a stud DE to replace Garrett since he was such a key part of our identity? Tag: I don’t tag Jennings,57/57 never fell in three years age 31 I’ll see you at FA!!! |
The 2029 NFL Hall of Fame:
Two made, it, TE Travis Kelce and OT Trent Williams. The 2029 NFL Free Agency: Day 1 – I have signed 47 and cap space of just 5.9 mill. I’ll need to free some up. Veteran Extensions First to Free Up Cap!!! In order by cap: WR St. Brown – age 29, 62/62, cap hit of 18.12, wants one year extension to raise to 19.20, nope, no cash. C Brendel – Age 36, cap hit of 13 wants one year extension to raise to 15.67 by a few mill. Nope DT Hall – 55/55, age 25. One All Pro; Pass rush of 66 and run stopping too, cap hit of 7.72, wants three year, 30.51 cap hit raise to 8.90. I freed him I’d save 7.3. He’s my starter across from DT Jackson. RB Walker – 48/48, cap hit of 4.72, age of 28, if I cut him I’d free up 3.61, he wants real cash to raise to 9.76. CB Bullock – 55/55, age of 26, cap hit of 4.34, wants 5 year deal at 32.78 mill for cap hit rise to 5.19 he’s my nickelback, I want to, but…I need cash... RT Pryor – 40/40 cap hit of 3.95, to extend increases to 5.1. Cut frees up. 3.15 What about my 2nd biggest cap hit after QB Perron, with two years left named CB Malone at 30.54, age 28 70/70. Three All Pros, to extend him he’d like another year added at 67.62 with a cap hit fall this year of 23.07, more than 7 mill. Done. I have free 13.37 If I cut SS Legins at 53/53 and a cap hit of 11.32 I’d free up 9.97. Done, I have free 23.34. Anyone else I can offer? Rookies Prior to Extensions: OG Bucci – 69/69 – One All Pro, cap hit of 2.23, wants 3 years, 36.63, cap hit rise to 10.14. P Rosborough – 71/71, cap hit of 1.8, wants 16.29 over four years to raise cap hit to 3.37 Extending them both would be a cap hit of 1.57 and 8ish for around 10.5. Done. Resigns: Free are RB Zartman, CB Sinnott, WR Jennings, MLB Hart, MLB Cannon Jennings wants real money to resign, like 37 mill over 2 years real, no thanks! I have free cash of 13.94. I extend CB Bullock and now have 13.18. Do I keep 3.15 mill for signing a cheap WR, or cut DT Hall to add money for a real WR? I won’t cut him barring a really amazing WR, or another stud I need. Ready for moving forward? Day 2 – LS? Nope! WR: WR Marvin Harrison – 63/63, age 26, wants 4 years, 79.21. cap hit of 14.98. I could offer 15 easy. But that’s 5 mil too much even freeing 7.3 with DT Hall. Everybody else in the Harrison/Jennings range…save for… WR Puca Nacua - age 27, 51/51, wants 2 years at 11.49, cap hit of 5.19. I won’t offer Nacua but could I free up 5 more for Harrison with St. Brown? RB Walker would free up 3.61. With the 7.3 from Hall, that’s 10.91, from a cap free of 13.18, so I’d have free 14.09 for signs, and I’d go a bit red if offered and taken, but do I want to cut two starters for one? Sure, I cannot sign them for the future, so they are in the last year, and one is in their 40’s ability wise. I also need stater RB from the draft, if one arrives, DE for Garrett, RT for Pryor, backup RB for Zartman otherwise, starter WR for Jennings if not in FA, and then others. Maybe SS for Legins, although I could move over one of my 50+ FSs if not. Other good budgets at positions of need: DE Milton Williams - age 29, 69/69, pass rush 97, wants two year deal of 8.55, cap hit of 4.01 RT Brady Atchison – age 26, 57/57, run block of just 36, wants three years at 13.37 RT Jawaan Taylor – Age 31 run block of 89, 54/54, wants 2 years, 7.39 at cap hit of 3.74 SS Damar Hamlin – age 31, 58/58. Wants cap hit of 2.97 on a 3 year 9.97 deal. Other that the low run bocking of Atchison all are great cheap dorks for a while that would help bunches. Do I offer one of these, or cut DT Hall, chase WR Harrison and if he signs, cut RB Walker. If I cut Hall, I can start DT Logue who has 77 pass rush. Not a bad drop. And signing a 2nd stud 60+ WR while St. Brown is still there in his final year seems to make all of the sense. I cut Hall, and offer Harrison a 15.5 mill cap hit. Day 7 – Harrison signs, I cut Walker and have free 8.59. I need two RBs now, one in the draft and one in UFA. I head to the draft!!!! |
The 2029 NFL Amateur Draft:
We are drafting 1.28. I need two RBs, one for Walker early to start, one in UFA for Zartman, starting SS for the cut guy, or backup, backup CB for Sinnott, Starting early stud only for DE for Garrett, since I have two 50+s and have Kneeland, so stud or sub, 1 sub LB for Hart/Cannon that left, stud starter or sub DT for Hall cut, starting RT for Pryor, LS for Triner and DON’T TRADE UP Barring studs, which ILB Montano last year wasn’t. 1st Round – Picking first is Seattle, are they taking 7.8 QB Hard to read Goering? The mocks have them taking the top 6.9 WR. They take…the QB. Our pick arrives my staff like the top RT on the board, Holl, 6.3, hard to read…he’s a pass blocking specialist, strong blocking strength too, not great run blocking though. DE Barnhardt is 6.5 and hard to read too. Great at diag, run defense and okay pass rushing. RT Reed as scouted, 6.3 great run blocking, strength, poor pass rushing. RT Holl or DE Barnhart? Holl. 2nd Round – Our 2.28 arrives! Our staff like WR Gus White, 5.3, as scouted. De Helton, As scouted, 6.1 left. DT? There are four in the top 5.00 with rating, one underrated but lower bars. SS? Schott is overrated. None of these have great end of the round sexy bars. I don’t like them. DE Helton or DT Ouelette with a 5.7 rating and underrated nether with good bars? I go DT here. 3rd Round – Our 3.28 is here!!! WR White still on the board, my staff like him. I want LS Zane Brant, the stud, is this too high to grab him? Not for stud K and P, but LS? Remember we traded the 4.28 to Arizona. DE Helton on the board, if I grab him, will LS still be there at 5.28? I doubt it. Helton or Brant? I could trade up for Brant after drafting Helton. But I am giving away a lot of trades for mid range, can I give up an early 5th for Brant? A stud special teamer? Does that count as trades for studs? I do it, I take DE Helon 5th Round - I trade for Detroit’s early 5.2 for my 5th and 7th this year, and a future 6th I grab the stud LS Brant! He’s also from Ohio so that’s good karma. 6th Round – Our 6th round pick is here! Our staff like WR Xavier Bravo a 4.6 hard to read. How about S or RB or LB here instead since Bravo’s not a good need. 5.5 as scouted OLB Norbert Toney? 5.1 hard to read RB Cato? CB 5.0 very underrated Deron James? S? 5.0 very underrated ILB Meagher? I do Meagher. The 2029 Cleveland Browns Draft: 1.28 – RT Lionel Holl, Oklahoma State, 34/61; 2.28 – DT Max Ouelette, Furman, 37/49; 3.28 – DE Helton, Alabama, 37/50 5.2 – LS Zane Brant, Ohio State 81/82 – long snapping of 84 6.28 – ILB Cameron Meagher, Susquehanna, 23/49, Remember Holl is hard to read…We hope Max can grow since he’s bad elsewise. DE Helton as Scouted, ILB Meagher very underrated, so that could be nice. Yay draft!!! |
