LF Jesús Luna and 1B Kiyonori Ishii
to Colorado in for
2b Drake Cole.

Pass the tissue....this is a bitter bitter deal for me. Luna was the first player I aquired in my rebuild and he only played 4 seasons in Baltimore. During those 4 seasons he ranked 3rd, 8th, 3rd and 3rd in VORP, led the league in RC and Runs Scored. A career .355 hitter it PAINS me to let him go.

But i have holes in my lineup and I have a very good player waiting for a LF spot, so Luna had to go.

Ishhii hasn't really had a chance to prove himself. There is a fella names Ehtan Garland playing 1B right now, and Ishii has just been picking up his scraps. I doubt he will be an allstar 1B as he lacks the power needed for 1B, but he should be able to hit .300 if given a full time spot.

Cole is a very good OB guy in the IF. I think I am giving up more then i am receiving, but the drop in salary more then makes this trade worthwhile as it will improve my overall team despite giving up the better parts.
