Was an Altar of sacrifice.. i made a donation, and i didn't die
|
Hmm. Strange. I wonder if that's the same room and you couldn't see the other doors for some reason? Or if yo'ure at a different altar.
|
I'm guessing its a diffrent altar.. and maybe each dungeon section has an altar room.. a star room.... perhaps the dungeon is shaped in a star pattern?
|
*mind blown*
|
Is there just one of each thing at the djinn ssssale?
|
Of some, but not others
|
will we know which?
|
When you don't get one, yes.

[Greenleaf the Qwith Ranger]
Clearly the dungeon creators are laughing heartily at me now. I left the room with the weapon racks behind and soon found myself in what appears to be an unmanned stable. Not even a stable boy to take care of the horses. And the horses clearly needed to be taken care of-the smell alone I'm sure would have caused many to gag and choke. Not a Ranger of course, used to working with animals, but clearly these hadn't been tended to for quite some time. I would have left the stables in this state-after all I did not come to this miserable excuse of a dungeon to be a stable boy-but not only did I find I could not leave, I was more and more compelled to clean the stables and take care of the horses. Yes I was now the Stable Boy whether I wanted to be or not. It appears I will be cleaning throughout the night given the amount of work here, but in this room at least, the dungeon pays well. A good amount of gold, a scroll that will allow me to trade on the black market without being in the same room, and a certain amount of "life experience" that now has me more confidant that I can take on more of that which this dungeon has to offer. And that's a good thing too-the only exit from here is to the next level of bricks-I would have to go back to my starting room to find another room on this level that I haven't been to yet. This makes it unlikely I will find any of you for a while, which would be a good thing for us both probably-I'm used to being alone in the wilderness, and now I smell of the wilderness...very strongly smell of it and likely will for several days now. |

Nope, nothing. Empty plain room |

As am I. Maybe tomorrow we set off trying to see what else this labyrinth contains. |
Alright, I'm moving in to begin processing
|
If I die here, remember me as a peacemaker.
|
Seems like the dingeon is toigher this time and teamong up may be mecessaey.
|
Thomkal, what were the exits in your weapons room, and which direction is the exit from the stable? (sounds like a real nice find)

Fine. I'll tell you what I know. I began this pitiful adventure in a room with a star on the floor and an unlit candle in the center. The least these morons could do would light the damn thing so I wouldn't have to use a torch! But alas, the dungeon makers saw fit to keep me in the dark. I decided to light the candle. At first nothing happened. But soon a fairie appeared and told me that I needed to blow out the candle and light it again for a surprise. Hmmmm.... I don't usually trust fairies, but I waited and did what she asked. It cost me a turn, but I did it. And afterwards I was rewarded with some gold and a magical item. I had exits forward left and right. I went forward of course. I'm no pansy. That led me to a library of sorts with books along the walls. |
That sounds like the room I'm in now (the candle room) Kwhit!
|
Excellent!
Will you be sharing your map with the rest of us at some point? Because I am an adventurer, not a cartographer. |
Quote:
You will get nothing out of me but the taste of steel assassin! |
I hope to Kwhit. Right now it's more of a table than a map, but hopefully soon it will get pieced together and I can find a way to share it.
Would you like to try to meet up Kwhit? We both look at life the same way, and I could use a strong sword arm at my side. You'll find I can get at things that you cannot. |
Clearly Dubb is mad, he's been in the bathroom this whole time. Abe inflicted him with the runs.
|
Quote:
How dare you? When we meet.... |
You'll never see me coming, Sir Dooright.
|
My fellow dungeon goers, while this assassin may be cunning, he is not to be trusted.

I like the way you think dagger boy. Sounds like you are 1 room behind me. Since I spent two entire days in the blarging candle room, I am hesitant to sit and wait on you, but it does sound like a good idea. Let's see what the rest of the day holds for us both and then we can decide. |
Is it considered "good" by your order to summarily judge those you've never met, Sir Dubb-A-Lot?
|
Someone is fighting one of these:
|
More like Sir Dumb-A-Lot I would think.
|
Do you think it's worth me waiting on the candle myself? Was it worth it?
What are the exits from your room Kwhit? If you have an exit left, you could go that way, and then hopefully left again and we could meet in the next room. |
Quote:
Because your steel assassin wants to enter his mouth? Commas are your friend! |
Quote:
I wouldn't make that assumption in Sir Dubley's case! |
Quote:
I do have an exit Left. I will consider taking it. I would like to gain an ally. |
Quote:
Autumn, there were exits in each direction-forward to darker bricks, backwards, left (but only if you are a small race), and right. I went right to the stables. Yeah I've been pretty fortunate so far-fight one sword and clean some stables and gain a level. |
I will plan on lighting the candle in the morning. If i get the same kind of message as you, I may stay, light it again, and then hope to meet in the next room on the next day, Kwhit. I hate to waste a day, as you did, but if there's an item involved, it might be worth it, I'm not sure.
|
And what was your first room like, Thomkal?
|
Quote:
Nice knowing you whoever you are. |
Quote:
Indeed! Me, can, use, commas? |
Quote:
It was your typical entry room-with a star made of blood recently shed and a harp which I attempted to play and failed miserably at. It had exits right, left, and forward. I went forward. |
Oh right, the harp, thanks.

Moght be one of those deceptive picures pf a snake that os actuall omly 8 imchea long
|
OK guys, here's where I've been
Day 1: Room with chalk star and metallic, untalkative statue. 3 exits, forward, left and right. I went forward. After day 1 move: Room with brick walls and stone floors and a dresser, which I bashed the shit out of and got some coin out of it. Nothing else interesting to the naked eye. Exits backwards, forwards (into darker bricks) and to the right. I went right After day 2 move: Room with many large statues of wolves. One attacked me as soon as I walked into the room. Exits: back, forward, right (into darker bricks) and left |
Oh no! Danny's been struck with a feeblemind spell!
|
Quote:
As much fun as it might be to mess with you, and Autumn, over this detail I do believe these are different alters. Different exits described, and I don't have anything denoting "sacrifice" at the alter I saw. |
Bhlloy are you sure the darker bricks are to your right? Seems they should be on your left.
|
Looks like nobody else has hit the room with the wolves yet (or at least hasn't fessed up to it) so I still don't have a lot to go on. If you have hit the room with the wolves (or the boring room with a damaged cabinet) let me know. I'm looking for company before I head any further. All this healing and nobody to heal...

Yep, double checked |
Well, at least my dagger was worth a little money. Now to decide on what to do when I wake up.. Any suggestions, Zinto? We're just a couple cats lookin' for a can of tuna.. Maybe those ghouls kept a stash?
|
Simbo and mauboy are in a room with a statue. You guys should check if it's th same room you started in.
|
I forgot to tell you. There was a hole in the floor.

I say we search the room we are in and head to the South unless you want to spend a day in a room with nothing in it for sure since we were in the rooms to the left and the right. |
