Help me choose my starting QB

I have a QB controversy in SP FOF7, and would love advice from the forum

7th round pick Seth Shepherd has been my starting QB for his first 4 years, getting into the playoffs every year and the SuperBowl the last three times, losing all three.

He had the best winning percentage of any QB (by quite a long way), and leads the league in QBR, completion percentage, YPA and QB rushing yards.

Seth has also been the #10 Possession QB for the last 2 years according to the Sage of The Gridiron

But in year 5 he suffered a season ending injury in week 6, allowing 6th round pick Donte Erdman to take the starting spot.

Erdman led the team to the SB again, but got the W, eclipsing Shepherds winning percentage and QBR in the process.

So, start of the next season, who gets the starting role?

Both have already developed a worrisome case of injury proneness (Shepherd might get a ratings hit once training camp has been ran), you're going to have to use 2 QBs to get through a full season regardless. It also looks like Shepherd could be the more turnover prone of the two, compensating it with decent rushing skills and less chance on getting sacked. At the same time, Erdman's sample size of games is still pretty small to make any firm conclusions. Cap technically, you could give both 8 games and hope you have one of them healthy every week.

Thanks MIJB, all useful advice.

Just thinking about it, what does “Possession QB” mean from the Sage of the Gridiron? Most Careful QB is clearly avoid INT, but not entirely sure what Possession QB would relate to... Ability to convert 3rd down springs to mind, but Erdman is better than Shepherd...
