Glad you guys all got stuff because I had no gold, so I had to sell my scroll and poison vial for enough to buy a torch, a ration and a bundle of herbs. You guys are a lot more healthy now, of course.

Searching was useful PB. Only one object (mage scroll) and some gold, but not bad. And there was a trap, so it worked out that I had those spells left.

Did using the apparatus a second time work? Did the item it gave out turn out to be decent? I'm going to try using it this morning. If it worked for you a second time, maybe you can give a conditional order to use it as well if it doesn't block me from using it, as I'm not sure there's any other useful action you can take in the room this morning otherwise.

Based on our combined finds, I'm leaning towards forward.

Using the apparatus did not work again because I had used up all the goods apparently and then, in my Shrek-like way, I broke it.

I'm thinking forward as well. This morning, I'm going to attempt to examine what I made yesterday and see if I can learn anything. Otherwise, after we one-shot the next bad guy, I'll have you examine it tonight!

Well, I'm not going to be able to use the +2 shield (with personality!) on account of paladin class restrictions (reading is hard). So someone else is going to have to assume the role of guinea pig for this thing.

I was only counting half value of the ring. value of ring was 300, value of the darts was 200 a piece and the recipe was givin no value ... I am taking the value to be 150 though. If you do not think Ineed much of the profit from that chest that is understandable. rememberthat the darts only paid off 300 total. I will give that which Isaid iwould keep of that . and keep only the recipe as a opening fee. or keep 75 of the gold and give you the other 75 and the recipe for the ring. your choice.

I'm trading a +3 weapon for a +3 weapon. I hardly call that helping. In any case, I don't think hoopssss issss evil. He may dresssss in black all the time and wear a darkessst timeline goatee and go mwuahaha a lot but deep down he'sssss jussst a cuddly teddy bear. He'ssss a sweet angel. I know there isss good in him.

I am fine splitting up the value of the chest evenly, so that we all profit the same, but we need to negotiate "opening fees" beforehand. I could just as easily throw out a "finder's fee" right now, because I found that chest by searching the room with the Chitine in it (from before we ran into you).

I appreciate that you discounted the value of the ring in your figurings, but even at 300, only 100 of its value was yours by rights. 100 value of it should go to Ragone, too. The irony here, of course, is that primarily so far I have been using my extra spell from the ring healing you guys. ;)

You can have the recipe. I'll just take the gold.

But if it's okay with you guys, going forward, we're throwing out there whatever we find, establishing its value and coming to equal terms on things.
