ntn what's your take on this? I really don't want to stay down here much anymore. My first instinct is that each round we search we find money.
However there also might be chances of drowning etc. The other possibility is it means diving deeper or finding really cool stuff other than money. (I like money huh huh)

The other thought. Do you think you can survive on your own yet or do you need another level. We should probably start thinking of branching out soon to boost our chances.

Actually, I am not sure. Abe told me 550 gold. But the followup math made no sense to me.

Going into that sale, I felt I had 365 gold, and I bought 423 gold worth of stuff (relying on the KG +4 sale to cover the difference). Abe quoted me the above price on the KG, said something about rounding up to 125 gold and then--after I bought my items at the last sale--pronounced that I had much more gold than I thought (I won't give out the number here, as that might be used by others to advantage).

So I don't know if the KG +4 number above is accurate. like maybe Abe meant to type a different number. Either way, I'll take the gold.

Now that I have access to Stoneskin I probably don't need then, but I'm interested in some healing potions just in case something really wacky happens. Way ahead of you. I already put in an order for two Horse Figurines (one for each of us).

My thinking was we would use it tomorrow afternoon, or if our movement action tomorrow doesn't produce a fight, Day 20 morning.

I would say we could do it as soon as tomorrow morning, but my fear is that we move on to a room that doesn't lead to immediate action and instead has us make a choice, delaying our fight in a given room. If that happens tomorrow morning, then we maybe have to use our Movement action tomorrow to make a choice instead of moving.

We should always be moving with the movement action, of course. So using the figurines in the afternoon would give us the afternoon and following morning phase to "do something" in a room, if we need to, without sacrificing a move.

JAG, this comment threw me, so I went back and researched. There is not a single post by either CF or his teammate where he was. How did you know?

I have what I believe to be the exact location of where all the remaining players are Abe, with the exception of Danny though I know his general vicinity is and DV, though I think I know where he is. I knew CR and party were on the outskirts of level 4 somewhere and then CF bumped into them. They went different ways and CR bumped into a room dubb had been to, so I knew he and Ragone weren't heading to where PB and I had been. Crimson confirmed that one of his rooms had a dvergr sized opening so it worked out that he was on the other side of that room. Once you put up your picture of the flame-kin when they were likely two rooms away two days ago, it was a very good likelihood they were in that room.

One thing that threw me was the room name/number where dubb and PB won because I had assumed the basilisk room was in one of two locations, both of which turned out to be wrong. I sorted that out just today.

Okay then, but it looked suspicious, I'm sure you see that. If you say you weren't communicating outside of the game via e-mail or something, then that's fine. I will take you at your word and we move on.
