The Jackal 10-21-2013 07:00 AM

If someone else wants to run a small game or try for a big game, go for it - I'm not able to run one right now.

EagleFan 01-17-2014 06:29 PM

Wow, no posts in this forum in almost 3 months.

I'll run a game soon once I have the time if people are interested.

Is there enough interest for The Amazing Race 2?

The Jackal 01-21-2014 06:00 PM

I'd play in a game

britrock88 01-22-2014 01:27 PM

Here and willing.

Chief Rum 01-24-2014 01:46 PM

I would play. Not really checking in here too much, though. It would be nice to get something going.

Could I suggest trying a like 8 person newbie game? There seem to be some new people on the board since the release of FOF and that might help the player base.

Zinto 01-26-2014 05:23 PM

I would be into joining a game. BK's idea about running a small newbie game is good too

fontisian 01-26-2014 05:45 PM

I'm around and willing to play.

fontisian 01-27-2014 07:48 PM

I could run a seven person OT2R setup, if anyone's interested.

Zinto 01-28-2014 09:30 AM

I am in for whatever. It would be nice to try and breathe some fresh air into this. I am hoping that sense it is a super cold winter people will be around to play.

The Jackal 05-12-2014 12:08 PM

EF's game has inspired me to run my Dark Tower game. I'm traveling for work next week though, so wouldn't be until after Memorial Day.

Autumn 05-12-2014 01:14 PM

I've been considering putting a game together but we'll see if I get a few moments today.

The Jackal 05-12-2014 02:38 PM

If no one starts a game this week I'll put signups up next week aiming for a 5/27 D1.

The Jackal 10-08-2014 06:00 PM

sad bump

Autumn 10-11-2014 10:47 PM

double sad

Batmafia 2: Return to Gotham - Dark Lord Potter Forums

Oh look, a game in need of signups!

britrock88 11-09-2014 12:07 PM

Font, have you played at BGG?

fontisian 11-09-2014 12:23 PM

I have not.

britrock88 11-09-2014 02:12 PM

You should try sometime! Autumn, CF, and I are in a game right now; EagleFan has played over there before...

EagleFan 02-11-2015 09:38 PM

We may want to float a new signup list, to see if we can get this started back up again.

The Jackal 02-17-2015 05:49 PM

I'll toss my hat in the ring to run a game in the near future!

EagleFan 02-17-2015 05:59 PM

Others can help keep the list up to date as we continue from here (thinking hopefully).

1) The Jackal

Abe Sargent 02-17-2015 07:00 PM

I am (very slowly) working on the next Dungeon. I wish I could have done the one going on, but it is wayyyy tooo hard right now - February is one of the roughest times of the year for me, work-wise

EagleFan 02-17-2015 07:05 PM

Upcoming Games
1) The Jackal

Future Tentative
1) Abe Sargent (aka: The Dungeon Master)

Autumn 03-02-2015 10:05 AM

Hope we can keep adding games here. Lookin gback I see Jackal was going to run Dark Tower and Font was going to run a Dr. Who game, both which didn't gather any steam. I'm willing to run something at some point though I haven't figured out what.

Autumn 03-02-2015 10:06 AM

Oh and EF I want you to run that Big Brother game!

I will try either that or Amazing Race 2. Learned a lot from that first one and have a lot of notes to use for a second game. Hope I still have the legs somewhere (hope it wasn't from the laptop that died).

Shoveler 03-05-2015 11:03 AM

Has anyone run a Wheel of Time themed game? I have a few ideas bouncing around in my head, but I'll need to play a few more games before I would consider trying to run one.

I don't think so - I'm pretty sure I was considering doing that at one point since I read all the books for the first time last year. I'd definitely play!

Funny, I don't remember that theme being used, but it makes great sense. Definitely helps to get a few games in first. I'd be happy to co-mod it with you, if you'd like.

When we get to that point that would probably help. I would need to toss ideas off someone to make sure the entire thing is balanced. So many possibilities in that book series that could be used to make a very complex game.

Autumn 03-05-2015 12:27 PM

Yeah, I'm already thinking about it, and it's perfect, but a lot of ways you could go.

EagleFan 03-05-2015 01:31 PM

1) The Jackal - signups underway
2) Autumn

1) Abe Sargent (aka: The Dungeon Master)
2) EagleFan (The Amazing Race 2 or Big Brother)

Chief Rum 03-05-2015 02:30 PM

I will put my name in as a future tentative. GoT II is possible, but it would be a MUCH less intensive one (more conventional WW game within the GoT universe).

It's actually more likely, though, that I will do something else and possibly consider that later.

britrock88 03-13-2015 09:54 AM

Pinging Autumn for the next game...

(If we hit a lull, I could run a standard P11-type game.)

The Jackal 03-13-2015 10:22 AM

I think Autumn said he was out this week, right?

britrock88 03-13-2015 12:04 PM

Yeah. I don't think we could turn something around quickly enough to start on Monday, anyhow. If he starts sign-ups when he returns, we could get going late next week or the next Monday.

EagleFan 03-13-2015 03:14 PM

I'll see what I can get completed of the planning for The Amazing Race 2. If we can't get a game running I will put up signups for that. I'll hold off a bit to give Autumn and anyone else that wants to jump in a chance first.

Autumn 03-15-2015 11:12 AM

I'm sorry, I'm on vacation right now in Texas, so won't be able to run anything until next week at the earliest. If someone else can jump in, go for it!

Sign-ups this week, game next week?

Zinto 04-03-2015 09:46 PM

I will run a more vanilla game next with sign ups starting on Sunday

Awesome! But who will replace you in my standard "Zinto is suspicious to me" mantra?

The Jackal 04-15-2015 09:45 PM

Work is too hectic for me to run anything for awhile, but I still want to play and try and be a better vanilla. More!

Chief Rum 04-16-2015 10:43 AM

I could run a game, but I would need to run a somewhat oddly timed game where the deadline would be much earlier, as I would need to complete the deadline at the day job. I don't have Internet access at the night job.

I do have a good idea for a game that I am still fleshing out, but I could hammer out the details over the weekend or over the next week and a half if need be.

But I would need to know how people would feel about either a deadline anywhere from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. EST (1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. PDT).

I can only speak for myself, but as a stay at home dad I can work with any deadlines as long as they aren't later than the usual 10pm EST.

Grover 04-16-2015 11:51 AM

A 4PM deadline would be great. Anything between 4:30-6PM... not so much.

Chief Rum 04-16-2015 12:06 PM

Early returns good.

I think my main concern with a later one (5:30-6:30) is that is will coincide with dinner time for East Coast folks. Same thing for earlier with East Coast and rush hour.

I suspect if I do the early deadline, it will indeed need to be around 1 p.m. my time (PDT), so I can catch East Coast players before they head home from work.

timmae 04-16-2015 12:08 PM

I'm good with whatever. My typical commute is from 4:45pm CST to 5:45pm CST during which I have zero access.

All times are GMT -5. The time now is 12:31 PM.
