I know not everyone here is Christian, but for those who are, have a blessed and joyous Easter (ie, Christian Super Bowl)

Love the great protestant Easter hymns.

Happy Easter everybody!

I've been feeling rally down and sad lately so I went hardcore into lent.
Did a lot of spiritual refinement. Walks in the woods. Early morning services.
Late night skygazing.
Helped a bit. Now I can't help but wonder how they organize giving communion to that many people in St Peter's Square.

Any stories to share from easter? Anything spiritual or funny happen to you or your family? Have a good meal?

My family spent the evening trying to figure out how my 5 year old nephew got Jello stains on the BACK of his shirt that just grew throughout the evening.

Happy Easter to you also.

Nothing spiritual occurred but something nice did happen. Did our taxes today. Expecting a decent refund. Some would call that miraculous :)

I've visited St. Peter's on a weekday. Never really thought about Sun mass but got curious. See link below, seems pretty well organized (vs free for all with all the regular tourists).

I watched the Easter Mass today. It's nuts. SO many people behind those blockades. And All those priests and eucharistic ministers just going up to a spot by the wall and letting people come to them. And they just form their own lines. I'm actually surprised it's not a mad pushy free for all. That's how you know it's not American.

I read articles that said there were 100,00 people at Easter mass in st peter's square and I'm like um...is that 10000 or 100000 . To me it seems a typo either way but I can't figure out what KIND of typo...or if it is a special european notation

Happy Easter!

Today was a great day. My family from England was in town and we hosted. I got to see my nieces who I only see a few times a year.

What really made my day was my twin nephews came over. Me and their mom have a complicated relationship. She has basically made us the enemy for being normal and successful. The boys recently have realized it is all bullshit and their mom is the problem. They are 21 and learning having a loving family is a good thing and have come back in to the fold. I could have cried, and maybe did a little, when they showed up. They have an older sister who learned all this a couple years ago. Glad they are catching up.

lol. Lathum is calling himself "normal"
