Feb Graphic Dump
 

Ok, time for your latest graphic data dump, if there is anyone out there interested.

Sorry for the size of the pic but it shows the changes in the red boxes. Added some pop to the page buttons, squared off the rounded buttons usually found on some of the cards, tried replacing the weekly status text, modded the football and solecismic icons as well.

The edge/trim colors on the screen buttons may be slightly off. This can be fixed by adjusting the background color to match the edge color. I was using the color codes for the NFL teams in some instances and it differs from what Jim did. I tried running through all 32 teams to make sure it didn't look to bad.

FYI the weekly stats text may have instances where it is slightly off. When I stumble across it I will try tweaking it but getting these right is one PITA!

This won't satisfy everyone, maybe none, as there are as many opinions here regarding this stuff as there members. I threw this up to try and help me as anyone in a league with me knows that even though I have been an FOF player since 2007 I royally suck at the game. If interested the link is below.

Looks awesome. I only have 2 suggestions. Something with the new splashon for different resolutions, and the experience colors. Dark green to light green for 10 years isn't easy to differentiate.

Just my $.02. Keep up the good work!

On OL you've got blocking strength and pass blocking the wrong way round in the grid, which mirrors a typo on the original (brilliant) grid

I don't call plays, I just watch the games play out, could the scoreboard be extended to take up the entire right side?

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Front Office Football Eight\pictures

This is assuming you have steam installed on C drive if not then it would be whatever drive you have steam installed on.

Old, old thread yes but wanted to see if anyone has been able to mod the base "Steam" file. I was digging threw some of these old graphics files I did but when I go in now with reshacker the .exe graphics files are not embedded there, or at least I can't find them.


Was bored and thought what the hell. Hopefully the FOF "Next" will be released by fall to give me something new to mess with.

I was just wondering how to mod the Steam file myself. Great mod. Maybe this week I can poke around and see what I can figure out.

Finding where the League files are are a bit tricky from what I remember

The links to the splash screen don't work for me (they say no preview possible, files in bin). Is it still possible to download the splashscreen and other graphic stuff Nawlinsfan did?

Re-did a few of the basic files for anyone interested. Not close to the full set I had completed way back in this thread, I somehow dumped them.

I did put black jerseys in it as a neutral base but do have a jersey set for each NFL team for anyone interested.

As a new player I would love to be able to get the old modded background image with info back.
I saw you have lost the old files. So I have copied all the details across to a excel spreadsheet from an old video I saw.
