Jackal, time to start talking about movement - I'm feeling a little cocky, think it is time for the next level of bricks.

We've now been in five rooms on this level and I think we've geared up to the point where it is time to move up the fear factor a little bit. If I knew every room on this level would offer XP/rewards like this one I would be OK with it, but Gelatinous Cube's aren't going to get us to the Top 5.

I ended up moving and not exploring the tree. That took me to attacking Pegasi. Only way out is up to level 2. So I horseyed back to the forest to check out the stairs after all. Then I can go back and go to level 4 to kill big evil stuff.

What is it with Jackal and cubes....it's like a fetish with him. He attracts them :)

Crimson, any chance I could get an extra healing potion for tomorrows movement? Like I said, I could give you the gladius or future considerations? It wont help you now, but should sell for enough to get you at least a potion back.

FWIW, if later it becomes even more clear that I have no chance to win, I am willing to pool whatever I have late in the game to help those I root for achieve victory.

We found a nice cache of gold and a couple other items, some magic powder and a potion of some sort.

Suffice it to say we're all doing well in the gold department now I think. Now we can focus on killing shit.

I'm guessing many folks are getting some pretty stellar gear by this point in the game.

Just looking at the XP charts, the mixed classes have a huge break compared to the other two going from Level 6 to Level 7. From that point on, it looks like it will be a sprint with all the classes needing 25K per level to close out (OK, 23K for mixed to get to 8, but close enough).

don't know if I can even have another weapon. And am also not sure I'm going shopping tomorrow. Just kill the stuff and you won't need healing. :) You're badass now aren't you?
