Saved By the Damn Bell!!!

PC 6316 On 11-18-89 at 900 hours, Mr. Belding (SP), was advised by A.C. Slater that there was a student running for class president because he found out the winner of the election gets a trip to Washington DC. The suspect: JUVENILE was informed the trip was canceled, and the only way juvenile could prove he wasn't running just to get the trip was to stay in the election. Juvenile, who was ahead in the race, now tries to lose intentionally. He wins anyway, but his opposition is so upset that the juvenile confesses to her and promises to tell Mr. Belding the truth and resign the presidency to said opposition.

I prefer the Jesse popping pills episode myself.

That was a "very special" episode.

Big Jubblies...just look at the slut she was on 90210...Zach never got any ass off of flatchest Kelly.

rkmsuf 03-20-2007 09:52 AM

Dr. Sak 03-20-2007 09:57 AM

Zack put all that time in, and you know Kelly gave it up in like 2 seconds to Jeff, that hunky UCLA manager at the Max.

Dr. Sak 03-20-2007 09:58 AM

Dola...two of the cast members has since gone on to a career in porn...

Zack couldn't even get any from Leah Remini at summer camp. What a tool.

Everytime they'd get close, all those tweens in the audience would go all, "OOOOOOOOOH!" and totally ruin the moment.

Dr. Sak 03-20-2007 10:15 AM

Since Zach seemed to have a lot of money why didnt he just buy Kelly a damn prom dress and in return she would have given it up to him?

Maple Leafs 03-20-2007 10:16 AM

Zack was the worst playa of all time.

I told him it didn't work out that way so he didn't bother.

MikeVic 03-20-2007 10:20 AM

I hate the earlier episodes. With those two kids that never show up again, and that teacher. Those episodes were so boring.

I'm sure you're not referring to the time where Zach and the nerdy chick teamed up to do a school project on the history of telephones? Or when the gang met Indianapolis Colts legend Jim Harbaugh?

Ksyrup 03-20-2007 10:34 AM

what worse original saved by bell cast or original charles in charge cast

As a kid I hated sitting down to watch some Saved By the Bell only to see that damn Miss Bliss.

I'd also like to mention that Saved By the Bell: The College Years came on during my last year of high school and completely warped my expectations of what college life was going to be like.

"What do you mean I don't get to share a sitting room with hit chicks? I'm going to complain, where's the ex-NFL player who lives with us for no reason?"

Ksyrup 03-20-2007 10:42 AM

I agree. They also did far more school work than I remember doing in college, and hardly ever played video games.

Good grief, the Pembrokes were horrible. I'll take the Powells anytime. Seriously, some network needs to play "Charles in Charge" every day.

Sadly, the show was canceled before the episodes that would have eventually led to Saved By the Bell: The Dropout Years and Saved By the Bell: The Mom's Basement Years.

Did she ever. Even though her TV sister was supposed to be the hotter one, Josie Davis was the reason I watched that show as a young teenager. :)

Ksyrup 03-20-2007 11:15 AM

I still remember watching an episode of Silk Stalkings and being floored that one of the characters was Josie Davis, who I eventually realized was the chick from CiC. I didn't think much of her back then, but she certainly, uh, branched out in time for Silk Stalkings.

Dr. Sak 03-20-2007 11:41 AM

I thought she was hot when she played David SIlver's girlfriend Camile on 90210.

ironically, the original pilot was all about miss bliss. it flopped. so they made it about her students instead.

Urkel and Brian Austin Green were students in the pilot episode of "Good Morning Miss Bliss"

Damn I'm pathetic.

cuervo72 03-20-2007 12:05 PM

What Miss Bliss needed was a twin who spoke British. Then they'd have had something.

I've never disagreed more strongly with Pumpy than right now. Nicole Eggert was, is, and will always be the hottest one on the show. Hell, she would be the hottest one on damn near every show.

I hope everyone has seen her version of Blown Away. It's not just great because of the Coreys.

14ers 03-20-2007 12:19 PM

When did Zack move to California? I thought the original show with Miss Bliss took place in Indiana. When did the show move to Bayside?

stevew 03-20-2007 12:25 PM

Bliss is not exactly the same show as saved by the bell. It shared characters, and was assimilated into the SBTB re-runs, but there were differences.

What dumbass decided to place a non-basketball, non-Eerie TV show in Indiana?

rkmsuf 03-20-2007 12:30 PM

I can't remember one token asian guy on during the entire series.

It has to be considered an entirely different show at Bayside (otherwise, you have to assume that Lisa, Screech, Zach, and Mr. Belding all moved together to California).

Once the bayside era started, Mikey, the nerdy chick, and the black guy from Punky Brewster were out, and Kelly, Slater, and Jessie were in.

I think they tried to cover a mix of races with AC Slater. He had the afro mullet going.

Man, Nicole Eggert was too obvious. As a teen, if I went to the Powell household, Jamie would obviously give it up if I bought her some earrings from the mall, but I'd rather try to pry Sarah out of her shell... so to speak.

I remember Eerie Indiana. I just don't remember anything about it... was it like Goosebumps and Are You Afraid of the Dark?

Dr. Sak 03-20-2007 01:53 PM

I thought it was hilarious to watch AC Slater wrester. First of all he was on a wrestling mat that could barely fit two people, and in a gym that sat 20 people. Finally he always wrestled retarded people who stood there, let AC flip them, and get pinned in 10 seconds max.

Pumpy Tudors 03-20-2007 01:54 PM

While we're talking about TV shows from the '80s and '90s, I'd just like to mention that no sitcom will ever be as timeless as "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air." Seriously, a person could just sit down, watch any episode, and be entertained. Timeless. Absolutely timeless.

"Saved By the Bell" could be the same way, but they had the damn Tori years (I mean the biker chick, not Tori Spelling). Ugh.

Albert Clifford Slater was JUST THAT GOOD.

Those were classically done. Didn't he wrestle a girl too that almost beat him?

Pumpy Tudors 03-20-2007 01:56 PM

Is anyone else hungry for some of Screech's spaghetti sauce that he accidentally stole from the Betsy Crocker catalog?

(couldn't they come up with a better fake catalog name than "Betsy Crocker"?)

There were no Tori "years". She was on for just a few episodes as fillers for the final season. The show had filmed the final graduation already and the cast took off. The network ordered more episodes but Kelly and Jessie had other projects so they brought in Tori. She appeared and then disappeared for the finale.

From Wiki
Quote:

Tori Scott, played by Leanna Creel, was introduced near the end of the series as the new girl at Bayside High. She is initially portrayed as a "tough girl" and is seldom seen without her leather jacket and drives a motorcycle to school. She at first is an antagonist to Zack, often getting the better of him, but eventually becomes a love interest of Zack. She disappears without explanation, and the previously taped episodes of the gang's final days at Bayside are aired, containing Kelly and Jessie, but no Tori. Tiffani Thiessen and Elizabeth Berkley had moved on in order to pursue other acting careers.

Also
Quote:

Several future-celebrities had appearances as Bayside students. Scott Wolf appeared as a member of the glee club in one episode and as a waiter at the Max in two others. Tori Spelling (Beverly Hills 90210) had a recurring role as Screech's girlfriend, Violet, during Seasons 2 & 3. Bridgette Wilson (Billy Madison) played Zack's ditzy girlfriend Ginger in a few episodes during Season 4. Also appearing in one of the beach episodes is future Grey's Anatomy regular, Eric Dane. Popular radio DJ and personality Casey Kasem made two separate guest appearances on the show ("Dancing to the Max" and "Rockumentary").

Who knew that McSteamy (aka Eric Dane) was on Saved by the Bell?
