I know we have the FOFC Civ group, why not an FOFC group too?

Since I have started adding to my friends list recently I have been in screens that I never visited before (basically looking through the deals or my library was pretty much it prior).

Saw the complete game list (not from the library screen) which shows all of my games with the time played listed. That made me wonder which game I played the most, and if I would be surprised by it.

Not that anyone cares but here is my top 10 played (in terms of time)...

1) WWSM 2009
2) Plants vs. Zombies
3) FM 2011
4) FM 2010
5) Defense Grid
6) Skyrim
7) Frozen Synapse
8) MLB 2K9
9) Torchlight
10) Blood Bowl

Big surprise when I saw the numbers. WWSM 2009 leads by a wide margin, actually more time than the next two combined. Plants vs. Zombies is an inflated number as my daughters play it. If that is taken out and only my time playing PvZ is taken into account WWSM would probably be more than the next 4 combined.

Amazing that for someone who isn't a soccer guy that three of the top 4 are all from the FM series and that the current version hasn't made the cut yet.

Also shocked that Frozen Synapse ended up as high as it is. That has been from a lot of shorter sessions playing.

Tasan01 here. I have some coupons to trade if anyone wants one. I have 50% off Valve, 50% off Oddworld, 50% off STALKER call of Pripyat. I also have a couple of copies of Dogfighter, Halflife 2, and Left for Dead 2.

I found out if you buy a gift to send someone and it is pending that it shows up in your inventory. So I didn't win Pop Cap Complete, it was just the gift I bought had not been accepted yet. darnit

I have 50% Valve, 50% Magic: The Gathering - Duels of the Planeswalker 2012, 50% Shadowgrounds Pack, and 50% Osmos. Probably the only one I might use is the Magic the Gathering one. Would be up for a trade just for the achievement.

Updated update: Just received 50% off Left4Dead2. Still have 50% off L.A. Noire. Still looking for a trade if possible, crappy coupon for a crappy coupon is quite alright...

From the Store page on the main App there is a link under The Great Holiday Sale to The Great Gift Pile. From that link you will find sets of achievements which will earn you a gift of some sort (a lot seem to be coupons). There are different groups of achievements each day, though you can still do the achievments from previous days.

ah I see. Well it seems they want me to buy a lot of games I've never heard of in order to get coupons to buy more games. hahaha.

Where does Steam put saved games?

It depends on the game, Steam doesn't set saved game locations.

I gave the copy of The Witcher I earned via achievement last night to a friend who'd previously expressed interest in the game, and I traded my Alien Breed 3 for Puzzle Chronicles.

I currently have a lump of coal, 33% off TellTaleGames/Valve, and 25% off Codemasters available.

I'm curious to see what I end up with after the AYIM achievement tonight.

True. Though soe have gotten games as a reward or coal (which count towards entries in the Sweepstakes they are having after the 2nd (Nice Grand Prize which is every game on Steam).

I actually got The Orange Box as a reward last night.

Just checking what you have ives you one of the achievements and a reward.

Did you trade anything recently? That gives another achievement reward.

i basically just hung out on steam, added a bunch of friends from this thread, installed a bunch of games, and chatted with you ;)

You can scroll through the objectives and ones with open gifts as the icon have been completed.

Freebies are two for clicking on the first objective and then looking at your inventory. Then also trading something with someone as EagleFan said. There are also a few free games that have achievements like Spiral Knights and CrimeCraft GangWars.

Maybe there's a chatting with EF achievement that I didn't know about....

As an FYI, the accomplishment for today for Demolition Inc doesn't seem to pop in game. Was getting frustrated trying to get it and not seeing it pop so I signed off to wait a little before trying again and that is when I noticed that I got the accomplishment.

FM 2012 is 33% off today for those that were looking for a discount.

It was $19.99 on Amazon for a Steam license a couple days ago. I'm surprised Steam didn't at least match that.

Steam finally added Half Life 2 to my gift inventory (as I already had it and then was given The Orange Box as an achievement reward). Is anyone interested in it?

I have 9 coal now, and am debating. I'd hate to get another coupon. I've done 11 achievements now.

I haven't been getting enough coal to even worry about that. I've got 3 coal, have received two games (regifted one and traded the other) and the rest have been coupons.

I joined, my steam handle will appear as Code Baboon (I think).

Bought Fallout 3 complete. Can't wait to play through it again...this time with added content

I've done 13 achievements and combined my coal once... to get a crappy coupon. Holding on to my coal now.

Heard about the crafting just creating a crappy coupon soo many times so keeping them for entries.

I've crafted 3 times, twice for coupons and on the third time I got Greed Corp.

In as FrogMan. Bought Fallout 3 from yesterday's deal and Bation from today's.

I have some time on my hand over the holiday break and played about two and a half hours of Fallout today. Lots of fun, well made game. My first foray into that type of game.

one of the great things is, you can play any game you want. You can be supergood guy, supervillain or total mercenery neutral and it will accomodate you and give you unique stuff no matter which way you go.

I think my PS3 controller can pair with my PC. I'll probably just connect it to my TV if I get annoyed with the small screen.

Getting the ghoul mask makes your life very easy IMO.

I found killing Roy much more satisfying! :)

Like all that library of congress stuff becomes easy(for the Lincoln stuff)

ah....heh... well I've never really found ghouls to be hard to kill. Maybe early in the game perhaps when I had fewer hitpoints but I think they are oneof the easiest things to encounter.

I just got a copy of AI War. I already have a copy so it's out there for trade.

More of the pain tin the ass factor. Especially when you're a level 20 and just want to grab stuff and not use ammo.
