Well, I don't have any inside info. I am still suspicious of Saldana and I'm going to kick myself if he is a wolf and I unvoted him. I was just rereading and Jackal pinged me a bit and I don't why Saldana would have voted me and quickly unvoted me if he was a wolf. I'm still not sure though, and may switch back. |
This leaves me rather unsure of where to go. Hmm.

Could you explain this, RA? It doesn't make sense to me. |

The Jackal 4 - Lathum (353), saldana (381), Chief Rum (388), Danny (395) saldana 2 - Autumn (364), Raiders Army (384) MartinD 2 - The Jackal (358), Coffee Warlord (362) Coffee Warlord 2 - thejuggler3 (378), MartinD (379) |

Could you please highlight the wolves in a different color? |
finally getting to check and see what's been going on today...

Checking in from my phone. Can you elaborate why you think anything I did was meta gamey. |

I feel less strongly about my vote right now. But selfishly I suppose I'm going to hold still as I like this 4-2-2-2 lineup. I'm interested to see what moves come out of it, and I think that information will be more useful than whatever effect my move could have.
10 votes, is that everyone? I think we should have one more, right? |
I haven't voted yet
|
Oh well your vote's not nearly as interesting to me, DT, as others. Sorry.

Playing a defensive 4-2-2-2 or attacking? (guess either is possible but my soccer knowledge is limited) |
I'm just watching to see if anyone changes the vote.
Right now my suspicion is: #1 - Coffee #2 - Jackal #3 - Sal I'm staying here in case anyone wants to add onto coffee, but if anyone ends up moving onto sal, I'll switch to Jackal. The reason is that Jackal is still on Martin, and where ever we end up, I don't want it to be possible for him to do a quick switch at the end for a tie vote. |
Note: that's just for those in the running right now. I guess to work Martin in, he's about the same as sal, though I need to re-read when he moved over to vote with me on coffee to see if anything jumps out as suspicious.
|
I'm still here to vote too juggler.
After reading through everyone's analysis of today - i still don't see any reason to vote for saldana...jackal/martind/CW...I think of those three I'll have to vote Jackal. VOTE THE JACKAL |

I guess my knowledge is even more limited. But i think I'm playing defensive, watching what the other team is going to do ;-) |
I didn't forget ya, DT. Your vote was the main one I was waiting to see :)

As of post 418:
The Jackal 5 - Lathum (353), saldana (381), Chief Rum (388), Danny (395), The Guy Everyone Was Forgetting (416) saldana 2 - Autumn (364), Raiders Army (384) MartinD 2 - The Jackal (358), Coffee Warlord (362) Coffee Warlord 2 - thejuggler3 (378), MartinD (379) |
I'm watching (along with watching the Bulls), don't have anything particularly exciting to say in my defense, other than the simple: I vote early, I'll fire when and where I can, and stir the pot. If I'm wrong, well, it's been known to happen. But it's not gonna stop me from tossing out stuff.
As far as Martin goes, his post still rubs me the wrong way. The 'thinking out loud' thing and posting ultimately regurgitated information is precisely how I've posted when I was a wolf, trying to appear helpful without saying anything real clear cut. If I'm wrong, so be it, but it's what I see. |

It's also consistent with how I remember him playing though, and it's something I do as a villager at times too, so I'm willing to look elsewhere for now. |
Yikes, interesting run on me while I've been gone. I don't really know why people are voting for me, I don't feel my votes have been that questionable. Just seems like a lack of purpose to vote for anyone in particular. If it must be me I hope you learn something from it. For the possibility of self defense..
unvote MartinD VOTE CW |

CW's vote looks pretty funny to me hanging there all alone...
|
I was just staring at that myself. He could put Jackal away. Or he could hang on Martin, hoping that movement would go somewhere else he could move it, if he didn't want to hang Jackal. Hmm.
|
Um, where do you want me to go?
Okay, I can vote Jackal, but there's no particular point right now, and hasn't been most of the evening. |
Well, if I was that close to the lynch, I'd move to the lead vote getter, prevent a tie or a possible sudden move to me.
|
It'd take 2 people to force a tie, at which point I'd immediately move to unforce it. It'd take 3 to shift the vote away from Jackal. Such an attempt would be rather educational, honestly.
|
(or rather, 1 and 2. I r gud at math)
|
It would be educational, that's true. That's why I stayed where I am. I thought you would feel differently being on the block, but I suppose if you're here and paying attention you could just wait and see.
|
The fact that it only takes 1 to force a tie, and not 2, as I'd been thinking makes it a little more scary. But no less educational.
|
Educational, but rather distressing if it turned out you and Jackal were both wolves and managed to be tied. ;-) I'm watching you two.
|
Refresh refresh refresh refresh!
|
I actually was going to swtich to prevent that paranoid fantasy from coming true. But then I realized we'd have three revealed wolves if they pulled off that play, so what the hell, let 'em.
|
Ever question just how close your system clock is to board time? :)
|
I think it's safe to say Jackal is either vanilla, the duke or a wolf lol
|
Yeah, I sure hope so Danny. Though we've been surprised before.
|
deadline
|
my clock and the board clock are exactly the same, FYI CW
|
'Course, if Jackal turns out to be a wolf, ya'll are gonna char broil my ass tomorrow. :)
|
If Jackal isn't a wolf, we're in real trouble. :(

i disagree....santa is still out there, and hopefully has been telling mrs clause who his scan was every day as long as they didnt bind themselves today, even if one of them dies, the other comes out tomorrow with the 3 nights worth of scans...the duke reveals...add DT as cleared, and off we go to victory with a huge circle of trust |
how long does it take to type
"jackal is a wolf"??? :) |
"Everyone to the Workshop!"
The announcement is made with authority and a twinge of sadness. As each day goes by you are closer to finding the culprit but will it be too late? After early debate is seems that many have settled on The Jackal as being the one who must go. You seek him out and bring him forward. He seems oddly at ease. "Do you have any last requests?" someone is heard asking from the crowd. No one knows who said that. There have never been any last requests before. Another Christmas miracle? "Why yes I do..." The Jackal replies as you see his red suit. Then you notice the beard. Oh my, what have you done. Could you have sentenced the jolly 'skinny' manto his death? Skinny? Actually, nothing but bones. Then you notice the beard is not real and his face, there is a blank and evil stare looking back at you. Before anyone can react he quickly pounces on Chief Rum. You try to stop him but you are too late. By the time you subdue him Chief Rum lays motionless on the floor. The Jackal seems to peacefully accept his sentence afterwards but gives you a sly smile just before he takes his last breath. Your attention turns to Chief Rum... You hear crying echoing through the Workshop. A jolly man cries somewhere. Then you see that Chief Rum is Mrs. Clause. The Jackal was Sandy Claws (brutal). Chief Rum was Mrs. Clause. |
I never thought about it that way. A wolf pretend would be hard to do as well with this set-up. Guess it's not near as bad as I thought.
|
Wow, well I guess that explains why he wasn't too worked up about it. And I guess I was half right about Chief.
|
If seer survives the night, I think we need a reveal.
|
Hmm...not that bad I suppose

With the bodyguard already dead? |
After a long night of mourning you assemble in the workshop to discuss what to do next. Everyone is red eyed and tired as no one could sleep with Santa's cries echoing through the village.
You look around and notice that someone is missing. Where is saldana? You search the village and you see him gasping for breath. Just before he takes his last breath you see it, the bright red glow of his nose. saldana was Rudolph. |
