The awards of the night:

Fight of the Night: Gregor Strauss vs. Jason Schmidt
KO of the Night: Dmitriy Rurik
Submission of the Night: Mauricio Augosto

EagleFan 10-14-2010 10:18 PM

Thanks to all for playing.

Those who would like to continue with their fighters I will leverage this into an interactive dynasty (have started the foundation already in the dynasty thread). Feel free to enter other fighters from the other weight classes. I may do other Ultimate Fighter seasons if there is interest (the catch there is that if you have a fighter in that weight class you will need to let that fighter become a CPU fighter if you want o enter a new fighter into that season; but we'll cross that bridge if it comes; if it gets enough of a folloing to warrant another following).

I hope everyone enjoyed it and congrats to DV.

dubb93 10-14-2010 10:18 PM

Congrats DV. And I think rather than KO of the night we should call it the "Brock Lesnar Award." It was clear who the KO of the night was. Afterall it isn't called the (t)KO of the night ;)

EagleFan 10-14-2010 10:24 PM

Sounds like a rematch brewing? :)

Autumn 10-14-2010 10:28 PM

Man, i could go for some rematches. After that one crummy loss Gregor kicked some ass.

dubb93 10-14-2010 10:29 PM

Mike Jackson will brawl with anyone, anytime, anywhere. You write the check and Mike Jackson cashes it in the cage.

Darth Vilus 10-14-2010 10:30 PM

INDESTRUCTIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

EVERY BROKEN ENEMY WILL KNOW THAT THEIR OPPONENT HAD TO BE INVINCIBLE!!!!!!!!!!

Darth Vilus 10-14-2010 10:31 PM

Good game guys, good game. Thanks for making this one EF

Raiders Army 10-15-2010 06:24 AM

Congrats DV!

Thanks for a fun game EF. While not a traditional WW game, this was very enjoyable. Maybe next time more people will join.

chesapeake 10-15-2010 04:01 PM

Thanks for running this, EF. I enjoyed playing!

EagleFan 10-15-2010 04:52 PM

Glad everyone enjoyed it. I may break another one out once in a while for future seasons. :)

Chief Rum 10-15-2010 05:39 PM

Yeah, lemme chime in, too, I had a blast with this. Thanks for running this, EF.

It's a shame how my fighter went down at the end, but that's how it is sometimes. I could quibble about some of the decisions my fighter made, but I honestly don't even know if the strategy instructions I have been giving are even really able to be spelled out in whatever fight engine EF is using. Or, more liekly, DV's fighter is just so good that it took me out of my strategy.

Oh well...

Maybe I'll get a rematch in EF's dynasty! :)

Yea, I really wish he would have used WMMA 2, but I can see how that would have been over the top complex for what he was aiming for here.

EagleFan 10-15-2010 05:48 PM

Now that this is over I will let you know the simulation being run.

Ultimate MMA Simulator 2

I actually wanted to use that but felt that there would have been so much that would need to be setup that it would have been a nightmare to setup and may have scared people away who were on teh fence about it (if there were 100 different ratings/settings to have to enter).
