Then maybe I should f*cking quit.

PM sent to BK.

Schmidty 07-08-2008 07:04 PM

Dola.

Spawn or not, someone that has played with me many times using schedule (real life) to prove a "oint" is bullSHIT.

Man. Maybe it's me being tired, but DAMN. LOOK WHEN I POST MOST, SPAWN.

VOTE OLIEGIRL

Schmidty 07-08-2008 07:09 PM

Erg. I am fricking mad, but please not FOR 8,000th time, that I am only available at certain times. It's common knowledge and NOT a lie.

I'm sorry if I was insulting, but I think that that was an insultingly obvious attempt to use my prior (and current) lack of participation, to make an easy implication. Maybe I'm wrong. If not, I apologize.

Regardless, my vote stands.

(Please don't delete me from you friends list on myspace. :) )

Schmidty 07-08-2008 07:13 PM

I'm going to eat a hotdog, and play some Civ4.

Good luck with the Spawn.

Hi Spawn. Way to jump at the opportunity to vote for an innocent.

If anyone knows me, I don't talk at the beginning, Wolf or not. Good job.

We have two (or 3- hoops) possible Wolves if I get offed. I'm so farking annoyed right now, I don't mind finding you guys by jumping on my unstable posts, and killing me. Hopefully, I someone will be able to defend the water/cargo after if I die. Have had 6 hours pf sleep in 36 hours, and am edgy. I'm just going to stop talking about RL. If you people vote for me every game because of an easy target, go for. I'm not gonna quit. If you want to talk to me at night when I'm bored, and want to "believe" what I'm saying about R f'ing L, call me at 11 pm - 7 am PST *snip*. Go for it.

Unvote oliegirl

Vote Khwit

Not here, and that's why the game can be fun.

KWhit 07-08-2008 07:54 PM

You know I was scanned good today right?

I voted for you because you quit or threatened to quit and that doesn't sit well with me at all.

I double vote you.

Vote KWhit X 2

Tyrith 07-08-2008 08:03 PM

KWhit, I can understand the sentiment, but this being Schmidty your vote strikes me very, very poorly. This is something Schmidty does from time to time, so all that vote can do is stir him up more. Not good for us as good guys trying to play a game about killing wolves, not angry people, and not good for a community because all it does is prolong the anger. I'm not a fan of the blowups either, but this isn't the time or place to deal with it.

I'm honestly tired. At this point, quitting sound like a relief. I'm just being honest. Spawn or not.

My brain is twisted right now. 2 more nights. I'll be ok.

its not uncommon for alot of players to vote for someone who is either saying they are going to quit or voting for themselves. Eaglefan27 would automatically vote for someone that would self vote, even if they were proven to be the seer...its based on the thought that if someone is giving up, how much are they actually going to positively contribute.

Chief Rum 07-08-2008 08:11 PM

Wow, just sickening to see how many players still have less posts than me (5 now). Here is the group below new UTR level:

Poli (4)
bulletsponge (3)
st.cronin (3)
Marc Vaughan (2)

Schmidty 07-08-2008 08:11 PM

I sincerely apologize for my blowup. I'm just overly emotional. My life's a grind as far as sleep goes, and I thought everyone knew that. I work all night, and I watch my daughter all day. If I'm lucky, I get 3-4 hours of sleep a day when I work. When I don't work, I sleep a lot. It's probably not fair, and that's why I requested to be replaced.

Again - Sorry.

Poli 07-08-2008 08:12 PM

Hater.

Poli 07-08-2008 08:12 PM

This isn't about the quitting thing; it was about not turning the game into a angst filled messed for 12 hours. Getting rid of a non-contributor can cause less contribution overall than getting rid of someone else if the way it happens causes everyone else to get distracted. That said, it looks like this is over with, which I am more than happy about.

Yep. Vote for me if BK doesn't kick me out. I shouldn't have ever signed up. I signed up for Spawn with a bunch of (the majority) knowing my schedule, and had that used against me. I screwed up. I love Spawn, but this time it's different.

Oh, and for the sake of facts, I didn't "self-vote", but don't let the facts get in the way of your point.

I had a really long post typed up that I thought better of posting. I just wish people would play the game without this stuff.

Me too. But sometimes it's better to turn the other cheek. Which I'm terrible at, FYI, so don't think I'm going holier-than-thou here :)

Schmidty, if you want to talk about the game I'm around.

I'm not going to stomp my feet and hold my breath trying to fight this no vote. (late note) Actually, now that I'm finished with the post I guess I am. (/late note)

I think it is wrong, and I think arguments suggesting that all of our scans + special abilities kind of miss the point as well. The history of the last couple of games suggest to me that this game is fundamentally WW. Putting pressure on players is still important. Conceding a day to the opponent is almost universally wrong - you don't force them to show themselves in either posts or votes. In a game of information, this is what i consider "bad"

The Spawn games have been by far my favorite ww games.

I re-read the threads of both games in the past 2-3 days (all 5400 posts of them). I don't want to see anything negative happen to this one.

I hear you and can kind of see your point. But right now, we'd just be shooting in the dark. I think the only person we can truly make a case against so far is Saldana - and that's just because he had a crappy mining expedition. (Did he take a scentist with him? Can't remember. If so, that could be somewhere else to look.)

I guess Pass is another possible candidate, but I don't think the spawn would do something so ballsy on day one. Further post coming on that.

He didn't and couldn't -- the slavemaster can only lead an away team of slaves.

Poli 07-08-2008 08:48 PM

VOTE BRUCE PEARL.

mccollins 07-08-2008 08:48 PM

BK, I need a clarification - if I train a person (say, in the security department) who already has abilities to have a specialist's abilities (say, a doctor), do they have access to all those abilities all the time to utilize their AP on?

Just curious because one private is already on an officer track and soon there won't be any more privates.

Tyrith 07-08-2008 08:48 PM

BTW, 550 posts through day 1, THIS is what WW is supposed to be like :)

+1

Exhausting if you are playing catchup, but a lot of fun when you are able to follow along.

Since I'm going to be out tomorrow for large chunks of the day, I will likely find myself exhausted (RL, not in-game) :)
