TCY/FOF Interactive: Year 5

It's time for a new season as 2008 draws nigh.

Remember to give a holler if anything needs fixing or you have an idea to make this more enjoyable.

I apologize to any non-hi speed internet people (or anyone else) who may have trouble with this thread due to the high number of pasted color stuff and so forth. Unfortunately, I am OCD to an extent, so I like the boxes and stuff.

I also assume any trouble with finding things is minimized by all the nifty color scheme stuff and formatting. If not, say so.

New? Check out TCY/FOF Interactive: Year 1 Here.

thealmighty 01-29-2005 05:41 PM

We have an outstanding group for the Class of '08.

I'd say kingfc22 got very lucky as choosing a state and a position is often a sentence of mediocrity, especially a LB. It was a great year in Florida- if you are a lineman. 7 offensive lineman in the top 75, so I guess the WR is not too bad for tategter.

Wonder where they will end up. We had 3 new schools represented in '07, and I would say 3 more this time is possible with Colorado and Indiana recruits, plus the Georgia QB, could go regional.

We now have 25 players to track, with the 5 high schoolers. It makes it easier, though, that all 5 freshman are red-shirting.

We will also definitely have at least 1 graduate as Tang is a senior now at Florida.

Just a note to say that, as Anchorage is the school I have to view recruits by, I hire new coaches each year, if needed, to maximize their abilities in the positions that have been requested for the recruits to come in that year.

Unfortunately, since I do nothing for the Anchorage team, they suck very badly, and getting any half-way decent coaches to come to Anchorage is getting very difficult.

thealmighty 01-29-2005 06:03 PM

As far as the college players go, FOFC is breeding some real MONSTERS. Naturally, there are some busts or, with the level of schools our boys are at, some monsters ahead of our boys for PT.

Its Vanilla 01-29-2005 08:31 PM

Yay. Washington State will win the Pac 10 this year with me at the helm.

Rob is redshirting this season. He gained 17 pounds in the summer.

Lucky Tennessee. They got this big son-of-a-bitch. Maier would be starting if he wasn't red-shirting. What else do you need to know. The other OTs on the Tennessee team are:

Kyle is redshirting this season. He gained 19 pounds in the summer.

Kappe needs to bust his butt to get in the rather crowded mix. Of course, for a championship calibre team, there is surprising room to grow into a starter. The other WRs on the USC team are:
  1. Sr W.On- 62/73

Myers plays a killer schedule with a shitty O-line. If he doesn't get his head torn off, he could turn out to be a good one.

I think that my natural Tom Brady-like leadership abilities will help the line overachieve quite a bit this year. Either that, or I will turn out to be Ryan Leaf 2: The Sequel.

11 teams with 20 players. The first FOFCer will graduate at the end of the season. Le Wood for PotY? Ertmann, perhaps? Can Brice shine again with defenses seeing him for the 2nd time? Blitz for defensive PotY? Let's get ready to rumble with no less than 9 FOFC vs. FOFC matchups on the schedule.
