It seemed worthy of its own thread since it's a daily thing and their usual giveaways are weekly or so.

Little Inferno, a game for the secret Pyromaniacs amongst us is the next free game for Epic 12 days of Xmas

Ape Out-where you play as a gorilla that has been locked in a cage until you "Ape Out" and try to escape causing as much destruction and death as possible of course is the next Epic free game.

Celeste, a platformer where you have to get to the top of the Mountain to solve the mystery on why you want to get to the top is the next free game at Epic. Not sure there will be a game tomorrow, and I will be away for most of the day so someone else can check it please?

My guess given the math is that 12/31 will be the last game given away and the key is 'between' those dates.

I'm not falling for the stupid steam sale this time. yay me. and oh yeah they've brought back the extra card when you create a badge and i had like 9 of them saved up :)

FTL is the free game at Epic today and a must-have if you don't have already in my opinion.

You gotta play on Easy. It's not easy, it's still dumb and I still die a lot, but have beaten it a few times. My son has actually beaten it once on hard, but he's dumb too.

i got pretty far in it I think. I think I made it to the final battle but lost bigtime.

i was able to get there because i had some great items and boosts and ran like hell all the way.

But when I got to the finale I reallized I couldn't win because I was WAYYYYYYY underpowered compared to the enemy.

It's a lot of luck I guess. And you have to stop and upgrade a lot especially vertain things. But I forget all that now :)

Blasphemy! That said, I’ve never beaten it on hard or tried to.

The big question is what ships do you have? From there you can formulate a strategy. For example, if you have the stealth variant A ship, your priorities are 1) get shields, 2) find a weapon that can penetrate shields stronger than level 2, 3) find a teleporter and improve it to at least lvl 2. If you find those three items, you should be able to defeat the flagship.

Everything else, while they may be nice, are not required to build the flagship. Even a teleporter is not strictly required, but then you need bigger weapons to knock down the flagships shields. Pause often, it helps a ton in fights. If anyone has any questions, I am more than happy to help. I have won the game with nearly all var. A and B ships. I still have not put a ton of time into the expansion, but am pretty fluent in the base game.

The Talos Priniciple, a puzzle game which reminds me very much of Myst and its ilk is the next free game at Epic.

Talos is fantastic. Played it on PS4 originally and very much enjoyed it.

Hello Neighbor, a game where as a kid you try to sneak into your scary neighbor's house without him catching you appears to be the free game at Epic today, I say appear because the store is down and this is what I see on Twitter.

Yokee-Laylee and the Impossible Lair is the final (?) game in the Epic 12 days of free games. Its a platformer with echoes of Mario Brothers type games.

Considering they gave away 13 games when they said they were gonna give away 12...

Yeah and considering they are going right back to 1 or 2 free games/week, it was certainly a nice move on their part.

I guess Christmas can continue for another week. Epic sale prices extended for 1 week as well as the chance to get a $10 off purchase with buying any game in the sale or downloading a free one.


Also they start the New Year right by giving us Steep, a skiing game and Darksiders I and II (may contain all DLC's for these two) free for a week.

Outward for $6 wasn't too shabby :) Wish Epic had Pathfinder-would have taken that for $6 easy.

I am having a blast playing Anno 1800. Use the coupon for that.

Sundered, a metroidvania like platformer from the makers of Jotun is the new free game at Epic this week

Horace, a platfomer from 2009 that I have never heard of will be the free game at Epic this week.

The Bridge a logic puzzle game which will remind you of Isaac Newton and M.C. Escher that came out in 2013 will be the free game at Epic this week.

Farming Simulator 19 will be the next free game at Epic starting Thursday

i have the bridge on steam...very trippy and yes escherish.
you have to spin the whole puzzle moving balls around inside and stuff and you jump over things and fall whatever

Just saw the games that should be available for free starting next Thurs-3 of them in fact, all digital board games-Pandemic, Ticket To Ride, and Carcassoone

Just Cause 4 and Wheels of Aurelia, a driving adventure game through the streets of 1970's Italy where a woman's story unfolds amongst the unrest during that time are the free games at Epic this week.
