Technically I could have claimed another person's healing stuff if I beat them. Some of my spells hit hard enough that two in a row would be death even through healing.

The other thing is that I actually didn't pull out all the stops in the fight. I had a couple other things I could've done to make the fight easier but I guess Abe didn't think it was needed to win.

I will at yhe least achieve my minor victory condition

I'm not rich by any means, but I'm doing okay.

Interesting decision, and not sure it matches with my Neutral alignment. But I'll hold out help there is a somewhat self-serving purpose to this move.

Unless the Basilisk has resists I don't understand, but The Jackal would have due to lore, I really don't understand why the fight would have gone down that way. You should have had to wait an extra day to ascend to Level 10 if we had taken the same actions we have the last several days together.

Not like it matters a ton in the overall scheme of things, but it is a little frustrating in terms of chasing after the remaining spots in the winners circle.

For those who don't know, the wolf a Druid shapechanges into gets two attacks - 1 bite 1d6, and one claw - 1d4. The bear gets three - 1d8 bite, and 2x1d6 claws. They are quite good in combat.

why do you need healing pots? Do you have enough hit points to make them worth it?
